My passenger side mirror was cracked and the glass was broken on my BMW 328i. I brought it here after the original mechanic I found via Yelp installed a non working part that wasn't compatible with my car ... which then caused the drivers side power controls (windows, locks, adjusting mirrors) to short out. He had now idea what he did or how so I took the recommendation of others and brought it to Marcelo I believe his name was, here at Auto Precision in Thousand Oaks. What the original guy couldn't figure out, these guys did in about an hour. They also ordered the correct parts that I needed - the correct mirror and associated parts AND the switch needed to fix what the original guy messed up via bad installation - got everything the next day, and were able to install everything and get it all working in less than 2 hours. They even changed a parking light bulb that had recently gone out for me. Absolutely amazing service, great communication, explained in detail everything that they did, why and how. Was having serious problems with my C300, so took a risk and made a APPT. with Auto Precision Repair, right off of T.O. Blvd, location is some what of a stretch, but man oh man Marcelo, (Italiano) had all the answers and his brother was also very helpful, did most of the work on my C300, but unfortunately Marcelo and his crew couldn't finish the job due to Mercedes Benz's, utterly bad standards of not being able to supply certain parts to independent mechanics, so Marcelo, suggested i take it to a Mercedes dealer, much to my angst, but his excellent research of my issues were Spot-On,...so Dealer finalized my dilemma!!! DELAYS & EVER RISING COST. Not sure what happened to this business but we used Emilio and Auto Precision for many years to work on our Mercedes. Had our SUV towed in for a collision issue in early 2024 & was SHOCKED at how bad the experience was. So upsetting. Original estimate was a week and a few thousand to repair. Job ended up taking almost a month and they kept raising the price. It ended up being 3 weeks over original estimate and FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE. The kicker? Drove the car home only to realize they failed to fix a crucial element. When we brought it back to fix this oversight, not only did they NOT apologize they charged another $1300 for this additional repair, which should have been included in the original price. Never had this before. They used to work quickly & honored the quotes price. We would have paid less and gotten a more timely result with the Mercedes dealer. Most people to go a mechanic like this to avoid dealer costs, so a fail on all fronts. Never again. We already found a new Mercedes Mechanic not too far away who is less costly and sticks to the quote who worked on one of our other Mercedes. I'm always a bit apprehensive when I try a new mechanic. I recently acquired a used Mercedes-Benz and it needed service for various issues. I dropped off the car waiting for the inevitable phone call looking to upsell me for expensive repairs. Instead, I received a call telling me what my issue was and what the least expensive solution would be that they wanted to try first. Turned out that resolved my issue and I highly respect that Auto Precision repair chose to give me accurate, economical advice rather than looking to rake me over the coals. when I picked up the car, they spend a lot of time talking to me about the issue and what to do if it recurred, and also corrected a prior mechanic's suggestion for a potentially very expensive repair. They have the right idea. You get long-term business from a customer by giving them honest information and charging reasonable prices. My car was due for an oil change and using the repair pal site recommended by Carmax i chose this place based on the good reviews. Was surprised that my car needed synthetic oil (Darn turbo haha!) and that my oil change interval is every 7000 miles. I had a lifted Jeep previously that had all oil changes covered and hadn't payed for an oil change in a long time. Overall I felt it was a fair price and everyone there was nice. Took my Mercedes to these folks and after speaking with the owner and Mark, I thought I finally found a shop I could trust. Everything was great until they performed the actual work. I needed my engine mounts replaced which went off without a problem. However, at the same time they replaced the front sway bar links and bushings as well as the drive belt tensioner and pulley belt. I had to take the car back to them 3 times, because one of the belts they replaced kept making a high pitched squeaking noise that drove me up a wall. As far as the sway bars and bushings, car was now making more noise (chattering on every little bump) than before I brought it to their shop. I felt it couldn't be the sway bars since they were just replaced. I took the car back 2 times to see if they could identify the problem. They test drove the car and inspected it, but were at a loss to locate the noise . I took the car to another mechanic and he said the passenger side sway bar link and bushings needed replacing. Ya know, the one they just replaced. He did the work and no more noise. Five months later, the driver side sway bar Auto Precision replaced also went south. I could have gone back to Auto Precision in both instances and had the stabilizer bars replaced on their 1 year service guarantee, but I didn't trust these guys to touch my car. Basically, due to the their shoddy work and poor diagnostic skills I'm out the funds they charged me for the sway bar repairs and the money I had to pay the mechanic who actually repaired the car correctly. At least there is no more noise and the car is again a pleasure to drive. Auto Precision-Nice people, but poor workmenship...Beware read more

These guys are rude to me every time I try to come in. I had my oil change done and already had the oil and i got chewed out for getting the "wrong oil," even though it was the exact oil recommended by the dealer. Instead, they try to upsell you to their specialty oil which is like 3 times the price. I figured this could have just been a one off thing and tried to schedule another appointment. They were really nice until I told them I already have the oil and filter, and just needed it changed. Then, I received a bunch of attitude about how that isn't worth it for them because they won't make as much money so they wouldn't change it with my own oil. I guess their business is in marking up shitty no name oil, not helping people with their auto maintenance. read more

Tried them based upon Yelp rating. A oil change drive thru place claimed they found an oil leak on my wife's car and refused to change the oil because of the leak. Auto Precision checked out the car. They didn't find a oil leak and sent me pictures to prove it. They changed the oil that the other place refused to do. I had them check out the car for anything else that needed attention.
