Today was my first experience at Auto Pride Hand Car Wash on College Ave. The price of the wash is staggering at over $50 if they're going to wipe down the inside of your car and address your wheels. My Jeep was very dirty and I just didn't want to wash it myself, so I felt the cost would be worth it. When the Jeep first appeared after being "washed" I could see there was still mud splashed up the door and coating the running board. I thought, of course they'll clean that... Wrong. I was called up to receive my Jeep, but the mud was still spread up the passenger door and caked on both running boards. After requesting that be cleaned, I had to point to the puddle of armor-all pooling on the tail light, and the bug convention plastered across the front grill, the debris in the cup holder and gear shift cover... and... I could go on and on. For a $50 price tag, the quality of the work was terrible. I will never be returning! I'll wash her myself and treat myself to something nice with the $50 I just saved. read more

I've now had my car washed here twice out of convenience, and I can't believe what a crappy job they do for the price. I paid $38 for a platinum. Once I drove off, I noticed that they did not vacuum my center consul tray or the tray in my driver's side door. The guy told me that the platinum meant they also cleaned your floor mats, and mine are plastic, but they are still brown with dirt. There is still dog hair on my car seat. Sloppy job. Worse car wash job I've ever had both inside & out. Pulled in and Explained to the gentleman that was vacuuming, there's a lot of hair in between the seats can you please vacuum in between the seats. His response "ya"! It's not a dirty car so at first glance doesn't even look like needs to be vacuumed. They wash the outside, didn't even Vacuum any of the inside at all. Didn't wipe the door frames. What a waste of money and time. Will never go back again. read more

Don't waste your money... wheels were still dirty, bug guts all over the grill. Window was also still dirty.

Bought the Silver Special... For the amount of hands working on the car it doesn't look like much was accomplished. All 4 door handles still had all the dust inside the handle wells they had before the wash (see pic) They shoved all the dust from the dash and touchscreen into the corners and left it. The center console wasn't dusted, and the rugs weren't removed. It looks like they just ran the vacuum over the top and got most of the big stuff (there was still hair, crumbs and crumbled leaves/gravel in the corners of the passenger and driver floorboards and up by the pedals. Nothing was done to the bug guts on the grille, bumper, windshield and side mirrors.(see pic) They were pretty obvious, and hard to miss. The silver package was supposed to have a rim detail...they were just as dirty as when they went in. (See pic) Very dissatisfied, I feel I wasted $30. I've honestly had $6 gas station car washes do a better job on the outside. I obviously didn't expect a full show room detail for the price, but I expected a car that was more than 40% cleaned. read more

EDIT: The manager reached out to me after this review and offered to wash my car again. I accepted and went back, and they overlooked the whole process to ensure it was done correctly. I appreciate the professionalism of the manager to reach out and correct the situation. Even though I still think is should have been done correctly the first time, I decided to edit my review from one star to three. Just awful. A gas station car wash would do a better job. My dad borrowed my car and decided to get it washed for me. The higher rated places were packed, so he decided to give this one a try. Big mistake. He purchased the premium, and planned on a 20% tip. What he ended up with was a filthy car with water spots, dirt, and bird crap still on it. He asked that they re-wash it, but it would be an hour wait. So he got a refund instead. I inspected it when he got home and it was horrible. There was scratches on it that weren't there before! This is a brand new car! The inside was okay, pretty clean, but it wasn't that dirty to begin with. But they didn't even put the floor mats back on right. It's like they just tossed them in. I ended up having to redo the entire car, on my day off! If I'm paying around $40 for a premium wash, I expect it to be at least free of dirt/bird crap. So save your money and go to a gas station, or somewhere else with better reviews. I rarely leave reviews, but this place was so awful that I had to warn people. STAY AWAY! read more

I used to think this was the best option for a local car wash. But if you have piano black door pillars this is not the car wash for you. One visit and an abrasive or dirty towel and my brand new, washed one time car has scratches and swirls. I'm horrified. I told the guy that I was horrified and he told me the sun was just hitting my car weird. In fairness I did not talk to management. I'm not sure what they could do to fix the scratches in my new car and I was really afraid I was going to lose my temper. I will never take another car here. read more

People were nice and I know only a $35 car wash(solid $50 with tax and tip), but themissed about a 12" stretch in the middle of the hood, hard they believe mats were shampooed when not even vacuumed, front end still full of bugs, and wheels that were clearly not cleaned. If I could give them 0 stars I would ,I been taking my 2017 explorer for a wash since 2 months ago I haven't wash it with nobody else and I noticed a lot of little scratches all over my husband took it this morning for a wash and he had to take it back to wash it again because they left a lot of dirt and dust all over the sits the reason I keep taking it there it's because I pay for 3 months I still have one more month but I would never go back again!! They have no care with the paint they use dirty rags to scrub!! I used to love this place. I could count on them to get my car clean and looking good. I moved away and come up to visit often. I just brought my car there to get washed and once they called me over because it was "finished" I was in disbelief. All 4 wheels were filthy. The whole bottom of the car under the trim located towards the bottom of the door was all filthy still as well. When I asked the guy to please clean the wheels again because they were still filthy he told me they were clean. So I dragged my finger across them and showed him that they were still hella dirty. When I showed him he mocked me and took his rag and quickly just wiped over the whole wheel in one motion. Lol. I couldn't believe this. So I showed him all the dirt and marks on the car they overlooked and another gentleman walked up to help. They went over the car once again and it was STILL dirty. I'm not a picky person or someone that likes to complain but damn! This place used to be awesome. Now it's just a rip off. Raised the prices to $40 for the platinum and they give u a half ass wash. The employees should be replaced with ones who take pride in their work. I have unlimited services here. Comes in handy as I can come in any time. I have been using them for 2-3 years now coming 1-2 a week. There are times that works gets done better than other time. Faces are now familiar and feel confortable asking for any additional cleaning. EZIQUIEL has always been very kind and awesome guy. He was taking some cleaning beyond point. They just bought a new machine and use water softener so that really helps with the water spots. If you want your car cleaned thoroughly, pretty quickly these are your guys. And the shop is the best. Front lower end of my car was not even cleaned, the middle area (console) inside the car wasn't wiped down. They advertise that you will be receiving a air freshener with the gold special, which actually meant they spray your car with a scent spray of your choice, which didn't even last the whole ride to my house. Clean and new car wash place. There is an online $5 coupon you can use from your smart phone if you go to their website. Also staff have been friendly and car has been clean and safe. The gift shop inside is nice and there is air conditioning. The one problem is they are always understaffed. There were only two cars ahead of us but only two people washing six cars so it took forever to move two spaces. Maybe 25 minutes just to go two cars ahead to the interior drop off. ZERO stars 00000!!! I wish that was possible! I'm serious. Really that BAD! Go somewhere else.My car got a lousy job! LOUSY LOUSY LOUSY! I went there based on two of my friends which one told me she had to keep after them to clean this or fix that and still has issues sporadically. I think your car should come out clean every time without having to babysit the workers and to point out to them they need to go back and 'finish' the wash or detail areas that are consistently missed! I went with my friend that day and signed up for the monthly membership of 50.00 which is sort of a lot for Santa Rosa and definitely for a sloppy job! I should have inspected my car before buying the membership. I was trusting my friend and she will stop going there because of my experience. We got our cars back a little too quickly because at least do an excellent job if my car is done that quick and I don't mind waiting longer to have an acceptable car wash if I have to wait! From afar it looked ok and I tipped the workers and left. We stopped later and my friend pointed out to me that my car still had the long coffee streak on the driver door from top of window to baseboard! IT WAS STILL THERE! Now how can that be missed on a pearly white small car! (Drive thru spill when drink was given to me) I didn't see the coffee because the door was open when I went to the car to leave. Also, I have other incomplete areas that were missed! It's a hand car wash place and not a wash that your car goes through like at a gas station or other car wash place. Baseboards inside car where your feet touch to get in and out were dirty! The dash was untouched and I wiped it all down myself. Front grill area under license plate was missed! Smudges on the left window inside the was overlooked! Back of plate on car had dirt. Other areas missed. I took pics AFTER the car wash. I called the manager within 15 minutes of the wash and he was apologetic but was trying to talk me into keeping the membership after talking for over 5 minutes. That was my only visit and after that car wash I didn't have confidence in their service and I certainly didn't want to go back for them to finish up the car! I wasn't near by and why would I do that? Leaves a sour taste in your mouth after a BAD experience like that! Should be done well the FIRST time. He said he would cancel the membership and no charge for the wash because I asked him. I got my statement showing the membership fee returned to me but he had the nerve to charge me for the car wash of $24.50! Such a liar and that is a dishonest practice and ethics violation he pulled!
