Happy to support a locally owned business... however: Staff do not vacuum nor clean carefully, like under bags in trunk. I offered to take bags out, was told no, then regretted it as items were not vacuumed underneath. Manager told me to not have bags in trunk in the future. I essentially paid $45 to pass my car through an automatic car wash, I might as well have driven it through a gas station car wash for less than $15.... it's so upsetting to get this service for this price. I didn't say anything because I had my baby with me and needed to put her down for her nap. l will NEVER be back at Mission car wash, not worth it. Never in my life of owning a vehicle and having wash/vacuum services on it have I paid over $60, only to find crumbs, and dirt still inside my car after a service. I literally had to drive back for them to make it right. Before I left, I was told that they will not move anything in your back seat so all the dust, crumbs and whatever else will remain. This is the very 1st time ever that I have heard this. Their Manager was rude to me, telling me it was "weird" that other companies due that, and when I pulled up after I spoke to him on the phone, he asked what they were doing. What do you mean what are you doing? I just spoke with you on the phone and you told me that you were under the impression that your employees would vacuum and clean the car. Judging from the pictures on here, and other reviews, they're lazy, and just trying to push as many people through without their customers noticing their subpar work. The other gentleman working there made it right, and agreed with me, saying they indeed need to tell people to move their things before the service starts. Even after "making it right" I still found stuff in the back. No airfreshener, no nothing. I could've had my teenaged kids and their friends do a better job. Oil stop does 10x the work for less than 1/2 the price with good customer service, and their employees are kind. Also, the blonde cashier is also equally rude, telling me, "Before you start, I'm going to get the Manager." Um, excuse me? Am I able to give negative stars? When I tell you that something as simple as a car wash can go awry, I probably won't be believed. I bought the Car Wash Membership Plan from Mission last year. I go in today to get my truck washed. First, I got charged. That is not supposed to happen with the membership plan. So, I'm told that the membership plan has not been active since December. It expired, somehow. The manager was called in to fix everything. Ha! He asked if I wanted to reinstate the membership plan. I said, "No." So, he goes ahead and charges me for the membership plan. Did you catch that? I said, "No." He decided to charge me for it, anyway. When I saw the receipt, I asked what the $89 charge was for. The cashier told me that the manager must've accidentally charged me for the membership, again. I quickly told her that I specifically did not want it. The cashier apologized and called the manager to come back. He begins to remove the membership and reverse my charges back to my credit card. The cashier gave me a new receipt. I sat down and waited for my car to be ready. The cashier said that I never paid for the car wash. Huh? I look down at the receipt. All I have is the refund back to the credit card but, no charge for the current car wash. I get up again to go make the payment. I begin looking at the long receipt and notice that the vehicle listed, is not my vehicle. I told the cashier about the error. She said, "Oh, the color was mistakenly entered." I pointed out the year, make, and model. She said, "The keyboard buttons were close together so, all of the other identifying features of the vehicle were inadvertently entered incorrectly." I asked why I was getting charged more than the wash I asked for. The cashier informed me that the manager must have accidentally put in the wrong wash package. She had to call him back over, AGAIN...to fix this error. When he came back this time, I said, "I should get a free car wash, at this point--just because of the mistakes that have been made with me in the last five minutes." He said nothing. I have been coming to mission car wash for YEARS. Every time they have raised their prices BUT it was good service, my car was clean, and never felt taken advantage of. Until today. I came to have my car cleaned. The guy asked what I wanted and when I told him I wanted their platinum for $49 he asked if I wanted it waxed. I said sure. He told me that he would give me the basic was of $33 and the wax plus clean my floor mats. I thought "WOW! What a deal". It wasn't until he gave me the ticket and it was $133! I didn't fuss because oh well! I could use the wax. They told me that it would be 45 minutes. My husband and I walked to a nearby restaurant to grab a bite. Came back and told us it was done. No one was near the car. Key was left inside, car running. My husband and I begin to inspect and found they didn't wipe down the seats, the car still had spots, and the floor mats were still dirty. My husband and I went inside and told someone. A guy came out and said what's the problem? I begin to tell him what was wrong. He ignored me and spoke to my husband. I told him talk to me, I paid and it was my car. I was showing him the spots again. He explained they cleaned it very basic and then sprayed the wax. So it wasn't properly clean. He again started talking to my husband. I said I paid, talk to me. He rolled his eyes and said he couldn't wash again but would do the floor mats and wipe down the exterior. End product, not good. I'd describe this carwash as "just okay". It's weird because I remember going here and paying around $25 and getting a GREAT wash. They used to do a really good job. Now I see from the comments that they traded hands and maybe that's the issue. It would explain a lot. First thing they told me was "the dog hair isn't going to come out"-- which of course it is. It's not glued to the floor. I figured they meant not all of it, which is fine! I have a corgi. My life is hair now. But I expected at least most of it to come out. But they clearly didn't even try. Not much of an improvement from before it was "cleaned". I did it myself by taking a wet wash cloth and running it over the surface to collect the hair in a pile-- got a majority of it off. On my passenger seat was some sort of smeared grime, probably whipped cream from a pupaccino. I wiped it up with a napkin when it happened but it was still caked there. I at LEAST expected that to be gone. Nope. Do they even use cleaning products? I took a Clorox wipe and did it when I got home. All gone. Took two seconds. Dirt on the dash, grime on the gear shift-- really obvious things that you would wipe if you saw them were all still there. Basically, they do the bare minimum. Which would totally be fine if I paid like $25- but I paid about $35. For the price to go up but the quality to go down doesn't cut it for me. They basically just got me started so I could do the rest with a bit less effort. But I'm not paying to have to go home and complete the job. Overall subpar. I've been here a few times and its been hit or miss, but never again after this last time. They close at 6:00PM and I get off work at 5:00PM. Yesterday I had drove down and gotten to the place around 5:37PM. They were closing up and were finishing up one last car. I asked the supervisor at the vacuum station "Hey what time should I get here tomorrow to make sure I can get in and give you guys enough time and not hold you over?". He said "Anytime before 5:30PM. Fast forward to today, and I made sure to get there before that time. There was 2 other cars when (one infront and one behind me) when I pulled up around 5:15PM. I asked for a Gold and for them to wipe down a spot on my vinyl that had coffee spilled on it. The guy said "No problem" and charged me an extra 14 dollars. I go inside and pay and pretty soon, my car rolled off the line. Since it was the evening time and they were in a hurry to get out, they finished my car around 5:36PM. Upon further inspection, they barely even touched my car! Barely vacuumed, half effort washing, and didnt even wipe down the vinyl! I totally get people want to go home, but dude! I paid 60 dollars for a BS wash, and they had plenty time left over and no line of cars! I myself even worked at a carwash back in the day and if a customer rolled up at 4:59PM, we would stay and wash and vacuum the car. On top of that, they had 2x to 3x as my place did! This was a 60 dollar wash that I had confirmed if there was gonna be enough time. They screwed me! I took my wife's vehicle in to have cleaned and was very disappointed with the results. I paid $40 for their gold package which, one would think is probably one of the more expensive ones and and their by come to the conclusion that they would do a very good job as of now 24 hours later I keep finding things that were missed and not done. There was dog hair still on the carpets in The backseat, They didn't even bother to vacuum the trunk, I had to ask them to do it,none of the middle area between the driver seat and the passenger seat was cleaned, The pockets in the doors we're still filthy and full of dog hair, I found leaf debris everywhere most notably by the windshield wipers and the trunk, I had to ask them to open the trunk and wipe that down because the dirt was showing through, The alloy wheels still had a lot of dirt on them.
