Went to Auto Repair Pros for Head Gasket Repair. The busienss advertises "Engine Repair". The vehicle i asked to have Repair was a 1995 Izuzu Trooper. I did not mind spending the money for Repair because the trooper models are very reliable. Spoke to a front office manager who assured me he could repair it. Invoiced me for a new radiator, new battery and new alternator. Stated the car could not be diagnosed properly without being competed. I again requested just the head gasket be replaced. Was told that the mechanics needed the above to be completed first. I was told after spending the $2,000 plus dollars that the head gasket was NOT an issue and that the car ran fine with the above noted repairs. I drove the car come and when in my driveway the same symptoms from when I took it in before occurred. Plooms of Water vapor from the tail pipe. Please be wary.. the shop might be great for "maintenance and minor repairs" but not engine repairs. The master mechanic admitted to me he put head gasket sealer in the engine to stop the symptoms so that I could take the car home. Head gasket sealer is a band aid on a much bigger issue of the head gasket failure. ***Most importantly I have a video recording of the master mechanic telling me he was told to put in head gasket sealer to stop the symptoms and to Repair the SUV.*** Reply to this thread if you'd like the video. I was wronged and manipulated. I come from a profession where integrity is a must... if the business wasn't willing to send the head off to be filed down or they didn't want to do the work they could've just said "it's not something we do here". Instead of lying and putting head gasket sealer in my engine without authorization. I will post the video which is quite lengthy if I am able. The short version is I dropped my car off for an oil change and hours later they hadn't done it and neglected to call me. Called first thing in the morning to see if they could change my oil. They made me an appointment for 1:00. Brought it in, they said it would take an hour or two and they would call me when it was done. So I walked home and waited. They close at 5:00 so when I hadn't heard anything by 4:30 I thought maybe they finished it and forgot to call me. Walked back only to find out they didn't get to it at all because they were a man short. I understand being busy and being a man down, but it was unprofessional of them to agree to do the work and then not do it. Unreliable, no communication. I wasted a whole day and now I'm headed somewhere else to get my oil changed. read more

I think this is a good establishment to get your vehicle serviced at because, first and foremost, they are honest. There's a lot to be said about that. I know of many places that are not. This place will take and text you photos of the worn brakes, worn down sparkplug gaps, tires, and more. The photos are a nice touch. Prices are okay. They are not cheap by any means. My one complaint is that communication could be improved. The vehicle was there and stayed the night. I was expecting a status call the following afternoon but did not get one. I had to call the following morning for an update. Other than that, I'd return if I needed a competent mechanic. read more

I went in for an oil change on my 2010 Audi A6 Quattro. First, they have the best price for a full synthetic oil change. If you go anywhere else, you don't like money. If you get there early, they will get you in and out. They checked my engine light for FREE!!. Audi charges $330.00. That's just to check what the light is on for. Alex did an incredible job with our dodge ram 1500, the trucks been through the ringer and I was amazed to get issues fixed like breaks with wrong pieces, a destroyed AC system and more fixed up for a reasonable and honest price, and to be given flexibility with other issues, not leaving me feel manipulated or pressured. The transparency and updates of issues found and what was still needed to be done without being pushed was nice. The truck needs more work, and we will slowly get to it using Alex and this Repair Pros shop. Alex worked with our budget and schedule and we got the truck back in less than a full day. It's hard finding car places where you don't feel tricked or robbed, Repair Pros was recommended by two friends and now I can truly give a solid recommendation to anyone looking for work to be done. We had other people take a look at the issues and they all agreed the best option was having Repair Pros Lantana do the work. I've had issues in the past with repair shops and am feeling grateful I now have somewhere I can trust and recommend. The certainty of a five year warranty and a comfortable sense of trust and security with the workers (ours mainly being Alex) leaves me completely satisfied and confident the work was done well and for the best price I could have gotten anywhere. went there today for a brake job and replace the cabin air filter. They called to let me know what the job would cost. As the man was totaling things he up he mentioned what a nice car you really take care of it. I guess it was all part of the pitch. He states with that type of car its very duty and needs the upgraded pads and rotors all four wheels and needed new brake fluid. Then there was the engine air filter, and a coolant flush and finally replace the spark plugs. 60,000 miles now mind you all I wanted was a brake job. The total cost for all $3,000. I just had the brakes and cabin filter @ 1575.00 My suggestion would be to stay away far away. read more

These guys are awesome!! I always come here for oil changes because they have such a great deal, $34.95 for full synthetic. Today they were pretty backed up. I had an appointment but I understand things happen so I asked for a recommendation for a restaurant within walking distance and and went to it. They still needed some time to finish so I settled in with my phone and chilled. When it came time to check out they informed me that my service was on them, no charge! Talk about a blessing. I also watched them ease the mind of an older woman whose dealer said she needed $23,000 worth of work on her Mercedes. They looked it over and said it was really only about $1800 worth of work. Five star and above! I went today for a synthetic oil change for my Honda CRV. I had previously called different places for pricing. I went to them because they had a promotion that was less than half the cost of what other shops were charging. I was very pleased with their service and the work performed. What sets them apart and above others is their high level of customer service. Christian Eliott is the Manager and he is to be commended for his professionalism and kindness. I had a car of mine in there cause the engine light was on and it needed it cause the head was cracked OK i said fine to 2000 then they eventually bumb me up to 3000 then 3300 till I got it back then 30 miles later the light came on again then 350 more for a o2 censor then 20 miles later again the light came on so I had enough they said it a different censor that was replaced before I brought it to these guys forest in msargate fl at royal palm and 441. They said it a 20 year old car and it needs to be repaired if they would of said this before I gave them 3650 I would of just got rid of the car but they keptkept it a week and they have my money but I don't know if they did the work cause my engine light still on I am out 3650/ they want to charge me 175 to find out what the problem is that keeps happening bad business I feel like I was taken advantage of don't use these guys thank you. read more

If you want to waste your time, make an appointment for an oil change for the day you're leaving on a long car trip so once you arrive you can be told they ran out of oil!! Very unprofessional!! Went in for a power steering pump replacement, actually had to set an appointment. Took a full week to get the job done. One of the worst experiences I ever had with a repair shop. With the previous owners, I was in and out in One Day. They never answered the phone, called me back an hour later, never listened to my voice messages I left. Left me in the dark on the status of the repair. Even when I picked up my car, I never got a call that it was ready. I was tired of waiting and actually just showed up and noticed my car was not in the bay. Oh yeah it was ready. They did the work but I felt like they didn't really care about me as a customer. The air conditioning in my car stop cooling, I was told through a friend that auto repair pros would be a good place to bring my car. The car is a antique collectors item so I am very careful with who I intrust with it. I brought my car in in the morning for service, Nick was extremely helpful with making decisions with me on what I wanted done to the car, I was accommodated with an Uber to go back home, my car was ready by the end of the day I also added an oil change to it and not only was the repair shop was clean, the waiting room was very comfortable and cold, Nick at the desk took care of me he was extremely efficient I found their prices were more than competitive he had called me several times during the day to ask me different questions and to update me as well as texting me photographs-The communication was A++.
