I heard about this place through a coworker of mine and could not be happier. I have a BMW and live nowhere near any of the dealerships so had been going to a local dealership to have my car serviced but was not happy with them. My wife (with kids) took her Honda CR-V here yesterday for a fully synthetic oil change, and I met her there to pay for the service. She called around several places first, and she was most impressed with how courteous Jeff (the owner) was on the phone, so she scheduled the appointment with Auto Repair Solutions. We had no disappointments whatsoever with the experience, Jeff's service was quick, and the final cost was slightly cheaper than I had expected to pay. For these reasons, Auto Repair Solutions will be my first choice for any further vehicle maintenance or repairs. Came in same day as our '08 MINI Cooper was slipping in the automatic transmission and stalling. Jeff was nice, efficient, and reasonable. He swapped parts(plugs and coils) between cylinders so no parts changed and only charged for labor. He also explained everything like a great doctor with good bedside manner to a patient who is interested in the subject matter. He also gave some pointers on what else to look out for with the car in the future. I encourage everyone who wants excellent service and fair honest solutions to use this new shop. Jeff has many years (over 10) as a master BMW tech, so I had no problem trusting him with our 1985 Ferrari 308. He did a total rebuild and upgrade of the suspension, got the old AC working with a new compressor install, and upgraded the cooling system. I could not believe that I didn't even need an alignment after he was done. He is currently working on a new clutch for our MINI Cooper S, and just finished doing several items on my daughter's Sonata. I predict this shop will thrive. I encourage you to use it while it is still fairly new and therefore relatively unknown. Great service! They really cared about helping me out and answered all my questions so I understood for myself. Very reasonably priced.

Can I give more than five stars? Was coming from San Francisco to Sacramento when my car broke down. Was on the freeway when I noticed problem. The car was revving really high and there seemed to be a problem with the brakes. So here I was stuck at a McDonald's and had to get a tow. At that point I didn't feel comfortable driving the car. I saw Auto Repair Solutions with its high stars. Called Jeff (Jull) who turned out to be the owner. He said the diagnostic would be $95 which was $15 less than another nearby shop. We went to the brewery a stone throw from the shop. We hadn't even finshed lunch and there Jeff walks in. He said the rubber grommet had come loose causing it to get stuck. I asked how much and he said nothing. He didnt even charge me the diagnostic fee!! Needles to say I gave him a tip. Thanks Jeff! You are a miracle worker and very generous! read more

I took my Chrysler 300c to Auto Repair Solutions after hearing how knowledgeable and honest Jeff is from multiple friends and colleagues. Jeff performed a tune-up, high mileage oil change, and replaced a pulley. More importantly to me, he fully explained in detail what he would be doing, why it needed to be done and told me that there were certain items that did not need to be done (showing me why they didn't need to be done) like replacing my cabin air filter (because I didn't have one) after the dealership told me they replaced it and charged me for it. My Wife and I couldn't be happier and more grateful that we finally found a mechanic that we can trust who actually does what he says he's going to do, exceeds our expectations, and is so reasonably priced. Great service. While visiting my grandchildren in California I encountered car problems. I checked YELP and decided to take my car to auto repair solutions. The car would only start when my son jump started it. I was kept informed of what was going on. The repair was done quickly. A week or so later when I was leaving Costco my car wouldn't start. Same problem as before. I called auto repair to report my problem. Jeff the owner volunteered to come to Costco...He figured out and corrected the problem and I was on my way( a small wire came loose). The excellent shop to go to for amazing customer service, honest work and fair prices! I got my oil changed and engine filter replaced at one of those quick shops on the side of the road. Immediately after when I was driving home it felt as if my engine was fighting to accelerate I could hear a loud humming sound and my RPMs were struggling to move on an automatic Mitsubishi Lancer 2009. I was really worried so I called around shops looking for quotes and appointments. I needed to get my brakes and rotors replaced as well according to a dealership. I stumbled upon this shop on Yelp and called right away. I left a voicemail and Jeff got back to me that same morning. Jeff was the only Automotive technician to ask me questions about what was going on with my car and really sounded as if he knew what he was talking about. I decided to go to this place because he seemed like an honest technician. A friend helped me out with the engine issue the place I got my oil changed replaced my engine filter wrong, putting it in backwards. I learned my lesson never going to one of those again! I came in to the shop and was greeted by two very nice ladies in the office, they offered me something to drink, and took my information for my appointment quickly. Jeff looked at my brakes and told me the rotors looked fine and all that needed to be replaced were the pads. He's an honest technician and could have got me for more work without me being any the wiser. The pads on both rear brakes were replaced in 45 minutes. I'm so glad to have found this shop and will be coming here for any work to be done on my car in the future. I went to another local dealer who informed me that my "2 front wheel bearings" needed to be replaced, and quoted $855. I knew there was something wrong with that price, and remembered Auto Repair Solutions when they did my smog. I remember the owner being very honest, and fair. So I called him, and discovered that the price for the wheel bearings was actually half the price of what I was originally quoted by another repair shop. Needless to say, I went with Auto Repair Solutions, and my car is running like it's brand new. He quoted the price, scheduled a time for me to drop the car off, and it was fixed that same day. I took my mini cooper s to niello mini cause I had an oil leak. They said it's coming from a gasket leak. I asked about how much it was going to cost me and they said they didn't know cause there might be other leaks. I explained the experience I had to Jeff and Rebecca and they recommended they take a look. Well guess what... I don't know what niello was looking at cause all it was my oil filter was loose from their oil change service they gave me at niello. If you need a smog check done on Sunday, this is the only place in the area that is open. I had to submit my registration the upcoming week and had no time to get a smog done on any other day. Our f250 truck wouldn't start and we got it towed here thinking it would be an easy fix. Not only was it not an easy fix but after he thought was a ficm problem and replacing it, it still wouldn't start, so he changed the oil pump and barely got it to start and then discovered there was a coolant leak? We came for one fix and he ended up doing all this work and charged us $1400! And it still won't start!!! Not to mention this took two weeks of him not answering his phone or calling to keep us posted. My husband had to go to the shop to get ahold of him and find out what was going on since he wouldn't answer or call him back. So completely unprofessional. Such a rip off. I'll never go back here or recommend anyone to. He's completely dishonest and doesn't know what he's doing. Thanks a lot for nothing. Guess we'll have to go somewhere else to actually get it fixed and hopefully for less than 1400. read more
