Call back next week. This went on every week until 10/17 when my husband said can you just put us on the schedule. They reluctantly agreed to Tuesday 11/1/2022. We brought it in & all they had done adjust something - didn't install any of the parts we had paid for. So my husband said just return the parts & give me a refund for $600. Basically $200 for the time spent returning them. JR said they couldn't. Bill said why not? There is a 90 day return policy. JR said they threw away the box. Bill asked why would you do that? It took awhile but he finally said they were using it as a display. REALLY? Hard to believe.

They took off heavy duty exhaust hanger and tried to weld their cheap hanger on only to fail in less than a week. I went to back and told them what happened, and the bearded owner said that's not one of mine. I showed him the receipt, and he backtracked, only to try to weld on the exact same hanger that failed from a week before. Their prices are high compared to other shops, but they used to do quality work and it was worth it, but not anymore.

This week was a perfect example, I started my mini convertible, and it ran very rough as if my catalytic converter was missing. I limped to Tony's shop and had to go out of town bracing myself for engine work or other costly repair. A day later he calls me and says that I had a leaking valve cover and it's fully under warranty. I cannot recommend Tony enough for all your Mini Cooper needs. You won't find a more honest mechanic in our region.
