In September we wanted some work done on our 1969 Chevelle so JR said to give them cash to order the parts & they would go ahead & order them. We gave him $800 Called the next week. Still not in. They said to call back Monday after 2. We have patience & understand things are not as fast as they use to be. Called back Monday after 2. They had the parts but couldn't fit us in this week. Call back next week. This went on every week until 10/17 when my husband said can you just put us on the schedule. They reluctantly agreed to Tuesday 11/1/2022. We brought it in & all they had done adjust something - didn't install any of the parts we had paid for. So my husband said just return the parts & give me a refund for $600. Basically $200 for the time spent returning them. JR said they couldn't. Bill said why not? There is a 90 day return policy. JR said they threw away the box. Bill asked why would you do that? Spoke with the owner Keith a few times on the phone and today met with Sherman and Andy at the shop, these guys are really cool. I'm building a twin turbo LS Chevy II and this is right up their alley. I had alot of questions and they were more than happy to answer all of them even though they probably had better things to do then entertain me while I was hanging out. They do pretty much everything from engine and turbo builds to dyno tuning and chassis set up. They also seem to have it all covered from old school carb to modern efi. Complete burnt up the transmission . Fluid was like clay. Broke several several teeth on my gears in the granny.. needless to say , new one on the way . And will never go back and will recommend a friend of mine to anyone that needs an honest shop that will tell you what you need done and if you need it done . They just took my money and burnt my tranny to hell.. I didn't even get a torque reading cuz they broke it on the dyno. Wouldn't remedy the situation in any way.. alway watch what you are signing . I learned the hard way. More people I talked to about it said that they aren't a good shop to go to but they were quickest I could get in so I went. I will never recommend them to anyone . If you want a better shop I would certainly be able to give you a few to choose from. read more

Bad experience, two weeks for a part they said they had in stock, gave wrong tracking numbers I feel as a stall tactic, two weeks later got the part to only still have missing parts in it. Another delay, I don't recommend, the integrity of business and just being honest isn't there. Recently had my 2016 C7 A8 Dyno'd tuned due to the fact that the outrageous claims by Manfs. of Aftermarket CAIs (Cold Air) forget to mention that "No-Tune" required doesn't mean your Vette Will run right afterwards. I am a backyard mechanic, and I have gone to Speedtek on many occasions to get parts, I have had hits and misses with the counter help, sometimes they are helpful, sometimes not. One thing I have learned is that in reality, they have very little you might need in stock, whether is it fluids or AN fittings, it seems that everything I have needed from them needs to be ordered. While this could be understandable, and I can even understand the need for people to pay upfront for special order items, they normally order things that aren't special at all! Case in point was when I needed an AN-6 T fitting, that's it, an AN-6 T, I called up and asked if they had one, the answer was no, I asked if they could order it in, they told me that they would be happy to, if I came in and paid up front for a $5 part... I was shocked and said "you want me to drive 40 miles round trip, so I can pay for a part, just so I can drive ANOTHER 40 miles to get it when it comes in?" The gentleman on the phone said "yep" I was still shocked, and said, "your shittin' me!" At which point he proceeded to lecture me about my language. Should I have cursed? Probably not. Should they have common parts in stock? Definitely so. Should people selling to mechanics have a thicker skin? I would hope so. I for one don't trust advice from speed shops, they are trying to sell something, so I do research up front and only use speed shops to buy parts. If you want or need the advice call them up, but if you want parts, considering most is ordered in, and you have to wait anyway, you can find things (especially AN fittings) MUCH cheaper online. read more

Great place if you want to add some horsepower to your car or truck. The did my new edlebrock supercharger on my camaro and it is awesome. They also were able to keep my airaid intake by cutting and using part of my stock intake tube. All the guys that work there are really knowledgeable and friendly. read more
