Seriously, A2 is an awesome auto-repair shop. They really know about cars and care about their customers. I waited a couple of weeks just to make sure my A/C was still blowing cold... So let me tell you about my experience. I am in the process of moving to the LV area and noticed that my trucks A/C wasn't blowing cold all the time. With it being July that just wasn't going to work, looking at reviews online I saw that A2 was highly rated and thought I would give it a go. First things first, man there were a ton of cars there to be serviced - a really good sign when it comes to auto-repair. I was met by one of the shop guys when I came in, he got me started immediately. He was friendly and asked the appropriate questions about my problem. This was important to me as I normally do most of the work on my truck; having my tools out of state made that a non-option. Anyway, was told they were super busy (which was obvious) and that the boss would give me a call in about two hours. Almost two hours later on the dot the boss gave me a call, truck was done. I have to say I was a little suspicious at first but thought I would go in anyway. Talking to them it looks like the pressure was slightly off in the system, possibly a slight overfill of refrigerant during a prior service. They had drained, refilled, checked seals, etc. All good to go. The bill was less than expected (unfortunately a lot of A/C repair takes time.) They had also said if I had any additional (related) issues with it in the next year to just bring it i and they would handle free of charge! So, yes, I do without any hesitation recommend A2. An Honest Mechanic? NOT likely in this day and age but there is one who runs Auto RX. I am a motor head but was in a jam and my car suddenly went dead. I was on his side of town and so I Google Maps a place to take it that was close and had high ratings. I was working 2AM to 10AM and the car barely made it to work for me. I called Will has soon as he opened and he said he would be waiting for me to show. Sure enough he was there when I limped in. He's a fellow Vet so he said he'd give me a deal as a fellow Vet. It only took him and his guys less than 30 minutes to find the problem and fix it. No parts needed! When he gave me the price, I was floored. He showed me what had happened and with more than 200,000 miles on the girl it just happened! She's running great now. He let me watch one of his guys doing a brake job and let me tell you they have ALL the right tools and the expert lube needed for the pads and the arm. He is a good man. He won't screw you, like the normal 200% markup on parts like the place before I went to. $230 for a single wheel bearing!! I was so thrilled, I bought Pizza and hot wings for his crew. read more

As All the Girls used to tell me: "I have Never done this before". Yeah Right Honey. Well I have Never been into Social Media until recently. As of today, I had Never Really done this before: Posted On Line about a Business Experience. I am a 66 year old with plenty of Experience working on my own Racing Motorcycles. But Electronic Problems have always Baffled me. My Beloved 2000 FORD EXCURSION 7.3 TURBO DIESEL had all of a sudden developed some Serious Electrical Issues. So I Googled "Auto Electrical Repair Shops". I Live in NW Las Vegas and I Drove by 3 of those Shops, not liking the way they looked. I went into AUTO RX to Check it out. Christian met me and he made me feel real comfortable. So I left my FORD with Christian. I was expecting a $300.00 to $500.00 Bill for Hours and Hours of Electrical Trouble Shooting. A couple hours later Will called me and told me that Christian had gotten it fixed. The Bill was Only $90. And EVERYTHING is now Working!!!!! Will & Christian could have taken BIG Advantage of me. My friend reffered me to Will (the owner) at A2 Auto Repair, and it was the best expeirence I've ever had. I had ran my car into a median, and the steering was messed up, I took it to another shop to have it looked at, and they quoted me a rediculous rate for what needed to be done. I went to A2 and they saved me what turned out to be a unimaginable amount of money, and my car drives better now than it ever has. This shop is honest, they did a great job explainimg everything that was being done, showed me the messed up aparts that they replaced, and checked out my whole car and tweaked a couple things to make sure every thing was perfect, they really go the extra mile. Their rates are very reasonable, and the staff is so friendly and personable. I usually have a really hard time finding a mechanic or auto shop I can trust, and feel comfortable with, but after this experience I will never go anywhere else. While in route for work, my car's fuel pump went out just outside of Baker. Literally stranded in the middle of NOWHERE! While waiting for a tow back into town I started to call a few auto shops for quotes... I came across A2 who had the best reviews, now I know why! I called and spoke to the owner Will, he was honest, caring, and even offered to come after hours to meet us when dropping my car off, luckily we made it before they closed but just the gesture alone sealed the deal for me, even offered to diagnose the car free of charge, unlike his competitors who quoted me for the fuel pump, but would diagnose the issue for an arm and a leg just to be sure that it was in fact the fuel pump. Their service was fast and efficient, I will NOT be taking my car any where else other than A2, even if it is a little out of my "region". A2 Auto is the best! Will, the owner, is such a honest trustworthy mechanic. This is the second time I have been to his shop, and they never disappoint. I have a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T. The first time they changed my struts and transmission mount. Just recently, my ignition coil on cylinder four went out, and I had the car towed to Audi Las Vegas for them to diagnose it. After a whole day of diagnosing, the Audi dealer called me and informed me that I needed a new engine. I asked if there was anything else I could do, and they said no. So, I had the car towed to A2 Auto, and in the same day they diagnosed the car and solved the problem; Just needed a new ignition coil. I will never go to Audi again, and only bring my car to A2! They saved me the $10,000 I would've spent at the Audi dealer if I listened to there false diagnosing! I just had A2 do my timing belt too, and the car is running great! read more

Got my clutch done yesterday at this place, which is the first time that I've been here. Didn't even know this shop existed, was just looking for a mechanic that was near my house since my truck is currently my only mode of transportation & was trying to avoid having to call someone to come pick me up or even worse, take the bus home!! (because I knew it would take all day to repair) And hell, Will even offered to give me a ride to my house. Nice guys, I will definitely go back there for future repairs... Hands-down the best mechanic I've been to and the best shop in Vegas. I spent a whole summer with no a/c in my dad's truck. I looked around at other shops and found A2. Will and his team diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it within the hour. It was an old truck with many issues. I told Will that I simply wanted the a/c fixed so I could survive the summer and that's exactly what he did without trying to convince me otherwise. After shopping around getting a couple of $300 quotes for headlight replacements for my 2015 SS Chevy Camaro they said would take 3 to 4 hours, I decided to bring my car to Will who was closer to me & gave me a $280 quote..About 45mins later I received a phone call to pick my car up and that he was only going to charge me $100 because the work was too easy for the original price that was giving, There's not many people that would have done that at all & for that type of honesty, I will be bringing all my cars here in the future whenever I need some work done! For reference, I drive a 2000 Cadillac DTS...the engine is notorious for being a pain to work on. They had my starter motor done faster than you can shake a stick at! Found A2 Auto through Yelp....glad I did. My cars problem required that I leave it over night so they could get a part and one of my calipers was bad and not safe to drive on. I had a way to get to work the next day but not to get home. Will said no problem, he would come and pick me up!! Went here a few months back when my car wouldn't start, it turned out to be a wiring issue. The guys there were extremely helpful and informative to help me understand what was going on.
