From the moment I walked into the location I was greeted by two gentlman who were readily available to assist me with my needs. As I approached DAVID, he greeted me with a smile early in the morning although I was extremely tired from working as a nurse the night before. I inquired about receiving an EMISSIONS test. He gathered all of my information ( INsurance card) and proceeded to provide an approximate time frame of 45 minutes. Now this was impressive to me because when you enter an establishment clearly in a work uniform it means I am going to work or coming from work. The mere fact he provided me with an estimated time shows he VALUES TIME. I accepted the estimated time frame and provided my keys. He offered me to have a seat in the waiting area and guided me to the refreshment area. I was so sleepy I sat down in those nice comfortable chairs and fell asleep. Literally before the 45 minutes I believe he was done and my car was parked near the front door so I can walk out and right to my car. You talk about service with a smile is an understatement. I am so looking forward to making sure I keep this location in mind for my car needs as well as referring them to others. Then I thought things could get no better than I receive a text from CHRIS the owner who thanked me for choosing them for my services and coming back if I needed more help. The mechanic, Willie, was rude and appeared frustrated, tried to pressure me about brakes I didn't request, and repeatedly called me approximately four times back-to-back, even texting me while I was still at the shop -- luckily, I keep unknown callers on silent. They put the wrong oil (5W20 instead of the required 0W20, which is stamped on my oil cap) into my car without asking. I immediately called my usual mechanic, who confirmed that using the wrong viscosity can damage my engine. The oil filter was changed at the same time, meaning it now contains the wrong oil and should be replaced again, but the shop refused to do so. To make matters worse, the owner (I assume) tried to grab my receipt and nervously laughed when I took a picture documenting the mistake. They even left my car running with the windows down after the error was "corrected," creating a safety risk. This shop is careless, disrespectful, and clearly assumes women customers don't know anything about their cars. Women are fully capable of reading manufacturer recommendations and recognizing when something isn't right. I will never return and strongly caution others. I now have to closely monitor my vehicle to ensure it was corrected properly. Willie claimed he was "trying to help," but disregarding manufacturer recommendations is completely unacceptable. For the safety of both your vehicle and your sanity, I strongly advise going somewhere else.

Where do I begin, Cinco Tire and Automotive is amazing for so many reasons I couldn't list them in…read morethis review but I would like to share my initial experience. Outlining the knowledge and experience this shop processes. First and foremost the customer service I receive from Tony and the entire staff at Cinco Tire and Automotive each time I return is exemplary. My first experience with this shop started from word of mouth by an automotive technician who mentioned rates and services performed at Cinco Tire on many occasions to me at my job. Eventually I reached out to them for help and they were right there for me. I originally thought I had a stuck thermostat but they quickly discovered my problem. Not only was Tony able to work a fantastic price, but I could sense he really cared about my circumstances; going above and beyond with service and leading me the right way on repairing my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which unknown to me at the time had a blown head gasket due to a manufacture defect in the casting of my engine block which had broken away from one of the through bolts holding the driver-side portion of my head gasket. Through intensive diagnostics and experienced technicians they found the flaw in a very short time and rushed for my parts and Tony even planed a rental car for me and my daughters school function. They also had my vehicle towed to specialists on a flatbed truck that could correct the bolt issue by means of a coil insert to the faulty casting. After the completion of this in depth repair Tony recommended I file a claim with Chrysler I did have a current extended warranty and eventually had Jeep Chrysler reimburse me for all charges and fees But it doesn't stop there, this shop is a FULL service shop with skilled techs that perform everything I could ask for including regular maintenance like a synthetic oil change .I feel rest assured it's performed correctly and they beat anyone's price in Katy, TX and always honor coupons by Goodyear and their own as well. Cinco Tire and Automotive has made a believer out of me that not all garages are alike. And I will remain a loyal customer for life with Cinco Tire and Automotive.
