Second review two problems with this dealership work This dealership created 3 problems in one bad service cost just under 2,000$ to solve, couldn't just cost 690$ like the reputable dealership work ocean crest did, called the head manager of service said nothing helpful or useful wouldn't refund me it was spark plugs wire cylinder 3 which wasn't correctly installed after spark plugs, were finished with no reason for AUTO TIWN GMC to even replace them by miss diagnosis in the first problem with this vehicle ever But anyway cylinder 6 is not located near cylinder 3 its noT located near the same 6 misfiring which this dealership was saying it was spark plugs which cost 960$ at this dealership (which I felt fine to do if it fixed the problem) , the ignition coils are right on top of the spark plugs cost 690$ so the cylinder 6 misfiring(from ignition coils) was not from any bad spark plugs, it's even on a different side as 3 spark plug wire so the dealership that reputable did not AUTO TOWN GMC the work literally couldn't have touched the spark plug wire 3 cylinder because they are on opposite sides of the block So I had the same lights arriving to the dealership as I did driving back to the dealership passing the VP sigh turning around at the stop light before the VP gas station I had to buy my new ignition coils from a reputable dealer ship not the spark plugs like this dealership said and solved nothing but the spark plugs are what they recommend, for 960+$ then the problem was still this dealership unironically the dealership had put my spark plug wires in wrong then and one was loose to where it cam off so I brought it to a reputable dealership not this one, then told me the spark plug was loose then it was 260$ to diagnose then it was that I had a loose spark plugs and they did the repair for 8$ so this dealership when the replaced my spark plugs was the reason my spark plugs were installed incorrectly I then called GMC corporate then they said we can't do anything because anything improperly installed will or could cause a problem, but GMC corporate is also what keeps this dealership a dealership so after getting the run around about how GMC would only take care of warranty work not incorrectly installed parts by their techs I called the dealership saying they asked what's the problem I told them their techs didn't install my spark plugs wire correctly the spark plug have warranty, the wire incorrectly installed does not, asked for the 268 for the dealership to find out the problem then to charge me only 8$ over the diagnostic that most only GMC dealers have, They said they would pay for it and would do it for free but why would I take the car back to them! When it's done and why would I know that it's my spark plugs wire installed incorrectly!!! So they got my to spend 960+$ then managed to do that with all the lights still coming on the less then 5 miles down the road, then managed to even install them incorrectly then they, wouldn't chip into the other dealerships work for the 268$ of the plugged in correctly spark plug wire So the dealership (the reputable one)that fixed the ignition coils for 690$ was the dealership that fixed the spark plugs wire not this one AUTO TOWN GMC DEALERSHIP it was spark plugs wire cylinder 3 which wasn't correctly installed after spark plugs, its noT located near the same 6 misfiring which this dealership was saying it was spark plugs which cost 960$ at this dealership, and the ignition coils cost 690$ so the cylinder 6 misfiring, it's even on a different side as 3 spark plug wire so the dealership that reputable did the work literally couldn't have touched the spark plug wire 3 cylinder because they are on opposite sides of the block

I would avoid this dealership at all costs. On 9/9/2025, my employer and I purchased two new vehicles. He bought a 2025 Diesel 3500 at the tune of $80k, and I bought a 2025 1500 for $44k. Everything was great until the next day 9/10/25, I noticed a dent and paint blemish on the hood (see photos). The photo with my hand in it is the next day. Naturally, I was bummed out as this is a brand new truck with 70 miles on it. However, the picture with the whole truck in it was taken before I bought the pickup. If you zoom in, you can clearly see the dent. I contacted Brian my salesperson, and I brought the truck into the dealership. At that, they performed a subpar painless dent removal. It removed some of the dent, but in the process, it spider cracked the clear coat, which will cause the clear coat to fail prematurely. I reached back out to Brain multiple times because he kept blowing me off. He finally followed up yesterday 9/24/25 after talking to his boss, and they have taken the stance that they won't do anything else to fix the pre-dented new vehicle they sold. I called the dealership twice yesterday, asking to speak to the sales manager, and I was supposed to receive a call yesterday, but again, I was blown off. I'm shocked by this decision. They had a chance to be heroes and they are choosing to be zeros. I reminded Brain that on 9/9/25 my employer and I spent $124k on vehicles that day, and my employer had previously spent $109k on a Denali Ultimate there in 2019 for a total of $233k in sales between the two of us, and they still won't own it and fix the dent. This has also cost them another sale on a 2026 Denali Ultimate that my employer was going to purchase to replace his 2019. The logic behind this decision makes no sense. They have turned this $1000 repair into a $100k loss in sales. I will be contacting GMC corporate, and I will be filing a case with Arbitration of Portland.

I was really impressed by their dealership. Everyone we talked to was professional and nice. Our sales professional was Nabel. Great guy! He's really thoughtful and nice. He's the reason why we chose to purchase through Auto Town. We were looking at different trucks from different dealerships, but Nabel's get it done work ethics, professionalism, and genuine personality is what made us go with Auto Town. We also liked the finance manager. He was really nice and genuine. My husband really liked dealing with him. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase. They made it easy for us, so thank you!

Bought a pre owned vehicle from them. They decided to siphon the 1/8 tank of gas it had while" detailing" my car for pickup. Lol!

She got excited. We looked up some on carguru and Platt came up in our search. Their place was few miles down the road so we went down thinking we'd be turned away. Peter was more than happy to accommodate. He let us test drive a couple different models including a Bolt. It really opened our eyes to these vehicles. He talked with us after the test drives and was happy to answer questions, give advice and info on all types of EV's (this was after close mind you). We weren't quite ready to purchase a car yet so we left. Peter's non-pushy attitude and kindness stuck with us. About two months later we decided to pull the trigger. I couldn't think of any other place to look for an EV. We had a list of options we wanted and Peter accommodated us and pulled a bunch of cars from their list. We test drove a couple AWD Nissan Aryia Engage+ e-4orce and really liked them. We went ahead and purchased one. It was a lease return with 15k miles. The EV was in great condition and the price was right. They were generous with our trade in and all the paperwork was very swift. I think we were out of there in under 2 hours. We highly recommend Platt Auto if interested in an used EV. You wont be sorry. They have a lot of different models to choose from.

Worst experience I have ever had with a dealership, to the point that I will never buy a new car…read morefrom a dealership again. What should have been a straightforward vehicle transaction turned into months of frustration, contradictory information, and unresolved issues. During my interactions with Mazda of Gladstone, I was given conflicting explanations regarding buyback/unwind options, warranty and service products, and who actually had the authority to resolve my concerns. One of the biggest issues involved additional products and service contracts that I later discovered were associated with my transaction. When I questioned them, I received different explanations from different people, which only created more confusion. I also spent months trying to get clear answers regarding MEPCO-related charges and service contract cancellations. During discussions about restructuring the deal, I was presented with a proposal that included thousands of dollars in additional service products. When I questioned why those products were included, I was told that I had already purchased or agreed to them. Based on my understanding of the paperwork and what had been disclosed to me, I strongly disagreed with that characterization and repeatedly pushed back on it. Instead of receiving a clear explanation supported by documentation, I was left trying to determine what products were actually attached to my transaction and why. The experience left me feeling pressured into accepting costs and obligations that I did not believe I had knowingly agreed to. At the same time, I was told that certain decisions rested with corporate, only to later be told by corporate that those decisions were actually controlled by the dealership. The entire process was exhausting. Instead of receiving straightforward answers, I felt like I was constantly being redirected, waiting for callbacks, or getting conflicting information depending on who I spoke with. I encourage anyone considering doing business here to carefully review every document, ask for written confirmation of all representations, verify every product attached to their contract, and not rely solely on verbal explanations. This experience cost me countless hours of stress and completely destroyed my trust in the dealership process. What makes this even more disappointing is that my family will be purchasing additional vehicles in the coming years. Had this situation been handled honestly, transparently, and professionally, Mazda of Gladstone likely would have earned repeat business from me and referrals from my family. Instead, over a dispute involving a relatively small amount of money compared to the lifetime value of a customer, they permanently lost my trust and any future business I might have brought to the dealership. I have purchased vehicles from multiple dealerships over the years and have never had an experience remotely comparable to this one. Because of what happened here, I now actively recommend that friends, family members, coworkers, and anyone who asks me about buying a vehicle look at other dealerships instead that are not apart of the Matthews Automotive Group (Mazda & Toyota of Gladstone, and Memory Lane). Not because every other dealership is perfect, but because my experiences elsewhere have involved straightforward communications, clear documentation, and honest expectations. I only ended up considering Mazda in the first place because of recommendations from other people who work at my company. This experience reinforced just how powerful word-of-mouth can be. A good reputation can bring customers through the door, but experiences like this can send them elsewhere for years to come. To provide some context, the timeline of events looked roughly like this: * Shortly after taking delivery of the vehicle, I began experiencing issues and opened a case seeking assistance and possible resolution options. * While those discussions were ongoing, I was told that buyback/unwind authority rested with Mazda corporate. * During restructuring discussions, I was presented with proposals that included thousands of dollars in additional service products and was told that I had already purchased or agreed to certain products that I disputed. * I later learned from Mazda corporate that buyback/unwind decisions were actually controlled by the dealership, directly contradicting what I had previously been told. * While these discussions were still ongoing, the dealership sold my trade-in vehicle, eliminating one of the potential paths toward resolving the situation. * Months later, I was still attempting to obtain clear answers regarding service contracts, cancellations, associated charges, and who was ultimately responsible for resolving the issues. Looking back, the most frustrating part was not any single disagreement. It was the repeated cycle of conflicting information, shifting explanations, and the inability to obtain clear, consistent answers from people.

Pushed into a bad deal: I was pressured into buying a car with front-end damage. 2. Two sales people told me untruths about the car. Then he stated he has all his customers spend $4k to get all of their oil changes covered so they would be "Free"! "They have had the same motor in the palisade since 2020 and they actually found a way to up the horse power and torque for 2026." Not correct. They went from 3.8 liter to a 3.5 liter and the numbers went down, not up, in horse power and torque. 3.Text offer: I received a text offer of $7,000 off the MSRP with Costco pricing 4. I purchased mine through Tonkin Kia, and honestly, that's another reason to avoid them--clearly, dealerships that push this warranty aren't looking out for you either. Prosidium's superpower? Finding every possible, absurd, and creative way to deny your claim. Even my dealer shook their head and said, "Yeah... you could sue these clowns." At this point, I'm ready to lawyer up just to get a straight answer. Honestly, you'd have better luck: Placing a bet at a casino Buying crypto and hoping for a miracle Sacrificing a goat (kidding... maybe) Basically, anything is a better plan than trusting Prosidium. Their motto might as well be: "We'll take your money and creatively ruin your day." --- Buying a car from Kia Gladstone was like signing up for a very expensive prank show--except the only person getting pranked was me, and the punchline keeps getting worse. They sold me an overpriced Audi (from a Kia dealership... that should've been a warning sign visible from space). Then they convinced me to buy an extended warranty so worthless it might as well be printed on tissue paper. It doesn't even cover repairs up to the amount I paid for the car. Truly impressive. But the real masterpiece of chaos happened when I took the car in for a routine oil change--you know, the most basic, low-stakes service possible. Somehow, during this routine service, they managed to cause mechanical damage to my vehicle. Yes, the car came in running fine and left sounding like it needed last rites. When I confronted them about this, they looked me straight in the face and said it was just a coincidence. A coincidence! Because apparently cars randomly decide to self-destruct exactly when they're in the care of Kia Gladstone's service department. What are the odds, right? Now I'm stuck with a repair bill higher than the car's value, a warranty that's allergic to actually covering anything, and a dealership that shrugs off responsibility like it's a sport. If you're considering buying or servicing a car here, may I suggest better alternatives: Throw your money down a storm drain Shred your warranty into confetti And gently bang your head against a wall All three will be less painful and far more satisfying. Avoid Kia Gladstone. The only thing they excel at is turning a simple oil change into a financial disaster.
