Dave and ai worked with Josh Plemmons on this truck and he did an outstanding job. Recommend Canby Ford.

Josh Plemmons was awesome to work with. Canby ford was a great no pressure sales approach. Answered all our questions and provided 5 star service.

Mr Zak went above a beyond. Did us the huge favor of delivering it to our home. And sign paperwork. Awesome guy. Super chill

A couple of months ago, I visited Canby Ford to look at a Mazda CX-5. It was everything I was looking for, except the price was a bit higher than I wanted to spend. After some back and forth with our sales guy, Darrien, we couldn't agree on a price, so we ended up leaving. They told us they'd be losing money by selling the car to me and would likely auction it off in a couple of weeks if it didn't sell (which is a crazy thing to say to a customer who is actively trying to buy the car). A couple of days later, they contacted me, saying they could lower the price by $600, which was supposedly the best they could do. Since I had been car shopping for almost two months and really liked the car, I agreed to the deal. Excited about the deal going forward, I showed my friend the car's listing online, only to find out that their Beaverton location had dropped the price by around $2,500. This was surprising, especially since Canby Ford had claimed they would be losing so much money selling it to me. I contacted the Beaverton location, managed to negotiate an even lower price, and arranged to visit the next day. Eventually, both dealerships realized I was in contact with both of them, but Canby Ford agreed to match the price listed online (though they weren't happy about it, lol). The sales manager from Canby called to have me arrange a time with Darrien, my original sales guy, and marked the car as sold. I immediately contacted Darrien via text, and he told me he was out of town but to come in the next day. On the day I was supposed to finalize the purchase, I confirmed that paying in cash was okay, only to be told that they had sold the car out from under me the day before. After all the back and forth, they sold the car despite having told me it was marked as sold. I tried calling for an explanation, but no one answered my calls. I was extremely upset since this was my first time buying a car on my own. I believe they were upset that I managed to get a lower price and didn't want to sell me the car. They reached out to apologize to my father-in-law, who was helping me with the process, but never once reached out to me or took accountability. Luckily, I ended up finding a nicer car two weeks later and moved on from the situation. That was until they continued to contact me about other cars, asking if I was interested. I told them twice to stop calling me because I had already purchased another vehicle and to take me off their call and email lists because of the terrible experience I had with them. Even then, I let it go--until today when they contacted me to ask if I wanted to SELL the car I purchased at another dealership! After all the back and forth and me expressing how much I disliked them, they are still trying to contact me and to SELL MY CAR? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They are the most dishonest and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Lack of customer service is one thing, but lack of common sense is another.

just bought a 2024 ford ranger from Zak. Everyone there was amazing and beyond helpful and Zak did everything he could to get me a great deal and give me everything he could. I brought my motorcycle to the dealership and they helped me load it into the back of the truck by hand. beyond what you would get customer service wise anywhere else and with the great deals it is hard to beat!

Waste our time. $15k over MSRP! Not up front. Our time is valuable. This is not an honest practice.

I recently went to look at a Buick that looked like a total time capsule in the photos but the…read morereality on the lot was a different story. I grew up around these Buicks and have a lot of sentimental value attached to the 3800 engine platform so I was excited to find a low mileage example in the local area. Unfortunately the interior did not live up to the premium asking price as the center console was physically broken and held together with tape and the passenger grab handle was completely snapped off. While the exterior of the car presented well and the tires were in great shape the engine made a very concerning funky noise that did not sit right with me. It is disappointing to see a dealer ask top dollar, well over book value for a vehicle while ignoring obvious interior damage and mechanical red flags that would require a significant investment to fix. I attempted to make a fair offer based on the actual condition of the car and the work needed to make it roadworthy but the dealership was not willing to budge on their price. If you are looking for a car that is truly in the condition described in the ad you might want to look elsewhere because this one feels more like a project than a polished classic. I really wanted to love this car for the nostalgia but a high price tag should come with a car that has been properly maintained both inside and out.

It had all the maintenance records, they knew a lot about the history of the vehicle and personally met the owner of the vehicle. Low pressure sale and that alone was very comforting! With a small deposit, I put the car on hold so I could think about my purchase decision and I felt no rush or threat with that. Educated. Passionate. Honest are the three words that come straight to my mind when I think of Oregons Best Auto Sales. I will definitely do business and refer my friend's family to them. Extremely disappointed with Honda's response to a known engine issue…read more We purchased a used 2016 Honda Odyssey in good faith because we trusted Honda's reputation for reliability and expected this vehicle to last our family for many years. We are now dealing with a nearly $4,900 repair for piston rings and spark plugs at approximately 155,600 miles. What is especially frustrating is Honda's response. When we contacted Honda Corporate asking for assistance, we were told that the repair was our responsibility and that the original owner would have been notified about the issue. We were also essentially told that it was our responsibility as consumers to do our own research. The problem is that we were not the original owners, and this issue was never disclosed to us when we purchased the vehicle. We had no knowledge that Honda had previously notified someone else about the issue, and we had no opportunity to act on information that was never provided to us. If Honda knew about a recurring issue affecting these engines and notified the original owner, what happens when that vehicle is subsequently sold? The next owner may have absolutely no idea that there was an issue or that a previous owner received a notification. We aren't asking Honda to pretend the vehicle has no mileage or that maintenance doesn't matter. We are asking Honda to recognize the circumstances and provide some goodwill assistance toward an expensive engine repair that we had no reason to anticipate when we purchased the vehicle. Our family has owned multiple Hondas, and we chose this Odyssey because we genuinely believed in Honda's reputation for quality and longevity. It's incredibly disappointing to spend years trusting a brand, only to be told that a major repair is simply our responsibility because we should have somehow known about an issue that was never disclosed to us. At the very least, Honda should be willing to explain exactly what notification was sent to the previous owner, when it was sent, and why a subsequent owner was left completely unaware. We had hoped Honda would stand behind its customers and help us find a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, so far, we have been left feeling like once the vehicle was sold to a second owner, the problem became entirely ours--even though we never had the opportunity to know about it in the first place. Very disappointed in Honda and in how this situation has been handled.

Zero stars if i could…read more I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience. Things started off poorly when I arrived for an appointment that I had scheduled in advance and was told I didn't have one. After showing voicemail messages and phone records confirming the appointment, it was acknowledged that I did have one, but I was informed that several other vehicles would now be ahead of me. Over the next several months, with my approval, additional work was added beyond the original estimate. When I finally received the vehicle back, the bill was nearly three times higher than the original quote. Unfortunately, the vehicle immediately developed a severe oil leak from the valve cover area. I was instructed to bring it back, but no tow was offered or suggested despite the severity of the leak. I checked the oil level and attempted to drive it back to the shop. The engine failed and locked up just a couple of miles away, requiring me to have it towed in. After discussing the situation, we agreed that installing a rebuilt engine would be a fair resolution. I agreed to pay $500 for labor and another $500 to add wiring for the oil pressure and generator warning lights. Nearly a year later, I received a call that the vehicle was finally ready for pickup. However, it barely made it a couple of blocks before I discovered the brakes were dragging badly. This was especially frustrating because brake work had been part of the original repair request. The shop kept the vehicle for another couple of weeks before I was able to pick it up for a third time. At that point, I was informed that the newly installed engine would carry absolutely no warranty. After all the time, money, and frustration involved, I ultimately sold the vehicle just to recover some of my expenses. Throughout the entire process, the attitude and communication were overwhelmingly negative and only seemed to worsen over time. What's particularly disappointing is that I used this shop about 17 years ago and received excellent service. I later learned that the mechanic who performed that work has since passed away. Sadly, the quality of service I received this time was nothing like what I remembered. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. I would never want someone else to go through what I experienced here.
