This place was a really big help when my early 80's volvo had some small electrical problems. I have been a customer of ATS Auto Trust Services since the early 2000s. This is my second VW being serviced by Andy and they continue to provide excellent service. Recently, Andy has handled a variety of random issues with my car and everything has been done in a quick, professional manner and his prices can't be beat. I can't say enough about the repair services at ATS. Andy and Shirley have always been personable, trustworthy and completed my repairs in a timely manner and for a fair price. A few years back I was driving an ancient VW which was having some electrical issues. I know nothing about cars, except how to drive them, and Andy would explain his best hypothesis about what was happening when I first brought the car in. He once spent 30 minutes on the phone with my Father back in New England while the two of them brainstormed about what could be happening with the beast of a car. When they would finally figure out what was happening, Shirley would call me with an estimate and explain everything. Once, Andy even repaired a part for free, when another mechanic sold me a faulty part. He dealt with the manufacturer and the other mechanic for me. Overall excellent experience with ATS for auto repair. It was Saturday at 2pm, my car broke down around 4th and Bryant. I did a quick Yelp search for repair shops nearby that were open, spoke to Andy and had my car towed over. Andy and his wife own and run the shop and are great. AUTO TRUST SERVICES on Brannan was WONDERFUL. They get back to you as soon as they have an answer. I never even had to consider calling them, they worked so quickly. For someone who feels like fish bait whenever they walk into an Auto Shop I felt COMPLETELY comfortable. They were nice and honest. They waited and let me ask as many questions as I wanted. They even brought my car out and showed me what they did. They stood by and made sure everything worked until I drove away. Andy and Shirley are like my family; they let me know it's time for new tires and then call around to find me the lowest prices...they are very clear about what is optional and what is absolutely necessary. They make sure my 15 year old car is safe. I completely trust them to make a fair assessment of the work to be done and Andy always has my car running and happy within a day. Fabulous service! I went to ATS to have my sway bar replaced before driving to LA -- Andy and Shirley got it done within 2 days and at a price lower than two other auto shops that I quote me! On my way out of town I got rear-ended (of course!). I called Shirley immediately, who told me to bring the car back by at my earliest convenience ... They dealt directly with the other driver's insurance company to arrange everything. All I had to do was drop off the car and pick it up the following day. If I could give ATS more stars, I would. Andy and Shirley are great!! I had a major front end collision about a month ago. Ironically, the accident happened right in front of their shop. So, while it was some serious bad luck to get into that accident, it was a little slice of good luck that it happened in front of their shop. I had some front end damage on my BMW and my mechanic recommended ATS to me. They handled all of the dealings with the other drivers insurance company, including advising them of additional damage that was found after the exterior panels were removed from the car.
