I bought a pair of jump cables when I couldn't find my pair in the shed that I usually use and low and behold, when I got home I immediately found my pair in my utility room. I went back to return these with the receipt and the cashier would not accept my return. She brazenly brushed me off by looking at the cables and told me I had already used them. I told her I had not used them and had just bought them when I found my own pair. She refused to listen and just seemed to be looking for an excuse not to allow the return. The cables were in the original packaging with the receipt but she could have cared less. I told her that Advanced Auto takes returns of tools and other items like jump cables even if the customer used them. I explained that Advanced Auto looks at it as lending tools and are happy to make the return refund, she still didn't issue the return. The fact is I had not even used these jump cables. I told her I will be submiting a review of my experience and she said, "Go right ahead". She has absolutely no sense of customer satisfaction and encourages bad reviews. This Auto Zone is just across the street from where I live but I will never go there again. read more

First time attending here and bad customer service, staff were very unfriendly. Specially a young female who's name I don't know.

The problem is management. this AutoZone act as they cannot perform multiple tasks, and this starts with the manager. The lack of customer service is unacceptable. The employees are always on their phones and they seem annoyed if you ask them for help finding something. Once you're actually at the register they leave the register unattended, and I had to wait 5 minutes. I hope corporate reads the review and examine the functionality of this particular store. Customer service is the most incompetent staff and management I have ever seen in my life. Please direct your resources to other stores and find another zone to do business with. The customer service is horrible, they never want to help anyone. I've gone to this location multiple times and everytime they want to have an excuse to not do something. Tonight (4/17) I came in around 8:40 not by choice, but bc it was an emergency and needed a new battery. I was being helped by a younger guy and although he was nice enough to check my battery for me, I expressed the battery had died a couple times and had it for over 4 years already and wanted to change it, I was told they couldn't do it because " they only do it during the day" and only had one other person working and were closing soon. Only to find out that was a lie by the employees who ACTUALLY wanted to help me over at the lake ridge location. I had to rush to the one in Lake Ridge and thankfully Wallace ( I believe was his name but not sure) and Annie were so helpful and put in for me right before closing. While I debated posting this, the kicker for me was them saying they were closing soon when I got there at 8:45 only to find out they close at 10. He had an hour and 15 minutes to help but decided not to. read more

The most incompetent staff I have ever dealt with. The Rockauto song they play in their commercials was especially made for this group. Unfortunately they struggle just punching keys on a computer. How hard is it to buy bushings online and over the phone AutoZone??? Your IT technology is garbage and the staff helping to order over the phone is not that much better. The staff are very cool and friendly, I don't know much about cars but the guy who helped me, Bryan Z , seemed very knowledgeable and helped me find the part i needed, and the manager Liceth knows how to run the store even in a rush read more

I will never do business here again. The staff is compiled of complete imbeciles that have very little knowledge on anything related to vehicles. I was broken down in the Safeway parking lot (right next to AutoZone) and they were unable to give me any advice on what to do. My check engine light was and Google helped me more than they did. Not only do they not have vehicular knowledge, but they also had me on hold for over 40 minutes. The first time I called, I was immediately placed on hold and continued to hold for 20 minutes then the line was disconnected. The second time I called I was on hold for 18 minutes, and then, again, the line disconnected. The third time I called I was given to a manager who had no clue how the code readers work so he handed me to the "store manager", but was placed on hold for another 12 minutes, and then finally reached the "store manager", but, she had no clue how they worked either. I am entirely disgusted with this facility and do not recommend them to anyone. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

I like this shop however battery installation is limited. I purchased a battery and they couldn't put it in because I had a Dodge Journey . Certain cars it's more difficult I get that but should prob change your motto. read more

I actually really like this store. It's clean and the employees are usually very helpful. However, on my last visit there, they sold me the wrong part for my car because their computer incorrectly lists it for my make/model. When I told them about the error, they issued a refund (of course), but didn't seem interested in fixing the glitch in their computer... Which means this could easily happen again to someone else. This place stole my mother's credit card years ago & used it at Wal-Mart before getting caught. Decided it has been years since & maybe the employees here have changed. Not so much. Highly unprofessional employees and Managers here. Not the least bit understaffed however, customer service lacks when people like Managers have 9+ people in line and pick up the company phone to talk to their "homies." Needless to say, I won't be back here. This place sucks and has let me down one too many times over the course of 10+ years. On a side note, Advanced Auto right behind this place.... He could have sold us a battery we didn't need because I wouldn't know the difference but he didn't, gave me a mini class on how to remove my battery to test it and what to look for and sent us on our way.
