I am in the market for a used luxury car and while l was looking through Car Gurus, one car that I liked was from this place. Since it close to work, I called ahead and went over. I car I called about was parked outside, whether in anticipation of my arrival or maybe it's always parked outside, I didn't ask. I went in and the one employee there immediately rose to help me. On the way out, I saw a G Wagon and even though it was not the car I came for, he answered all my questions and was very friendly. I took the car, that I came for, on a test drive. Beautiful car and no pressure about buying the whole time I was driving it. When we came back, the owner had just arrived and gave me all the information about the car - a list of all the features, the CarFax report etc. and was very efficient about it. Again, no pressure to buy. I told him that I was looking at other cars and that I will get back to him. I don't know if I will buy the car but the experience was fantastic! I love cars and they had a whole garage full of exotic cars. Even if I don't buy a car from them, the experience was worth it! read more

Absolute nightmare with this dealership and now I have to start legal proceedings against them. BEWARE AT ALL COSTS. I'll start this with the good. I purchased a truck from them and that process was seamless (makes sense cuz they are making money)... Truck was as advertised. Now to the list of the bad. Has everything to do with consignment sale of my trade in. I left my old truck with them to do a consignment sale and we settled on a selling price. After a few weeks I am called by Autobahn and I'm told "hey there is a buyer who wants the truck" so I respond "ok" and we get off the phone. At this point I got no further information like when the buyer was going to come in and process the paperwork, and pay for the truck, and more importantly when I would be paid so i can payoff the loan on the truck and start the process of having my lien holder send them the title. ZERO information given to me so I assumed I would hear from Autobahn when that was going to happen. A few days later I get a call and Autobahn tells me "Hey the truck won't go into reverse, but the buyer still wants the truck he just wants an 8K discount on the truck" When i'm informed of this I of course assume the truck hasn't been sold yet. This is reinforced by the fact that to this point i've been told nothing about when i'd be receiving my check to payoff the truck or that the owner has even been to the dealership to fill out the paperwork. I tell Autobahn I will come get the truck and I will have it repaired under warranty. The warranty service would only apply to me since i was the person who purchased the extended warranty. In reality Autobahn had already sold the truck to the new owner but never disclosed to me this fact, which constitutes wanting me to commit insurance fraud. So me as a consumer has only ONE choice, which is to remove the car from the consignment sale process, and have it repaired under warranty. The owner of Autobahn called me and once he disclosed that he had in actuality sold the truck and was asking me to get it fixed for the new owner, a huge argument ensued, where he was swearing at me and acting completely unprofessional. At that point I would never do any further business with Autobahn under any circumstances. However this story is not over. After my truck was repaired and I paid for repairs, I sold the truck to a private owner. The new owner to date has not been able to register her truck because of a fraudulent ROS (Record of Sale) in the DMV system. This has been going on for at least ten months and Autobahn refuses to either cancel the ROS or process the paperwork to cancel. I have contacted legal representation and paid the retainer to take legal action against Autobahn to simply cancel a sale that never happened. Autobahn at no time paid me, or communicated to me adequately that any sale had happened. My lawsuit will be for any and all money the new truck owner has lost as a result of not being able to properly register the truck. Avoid this dealership at all costs. read more

My first time buying a car remotely. Called and spoke with Ali about the car I wanted. He was friendly. I asked if there was damage or repairs known and was told there was a chip on the roof. Asked him to video a startup and walk around and didn't see a lot to worry about from the cell phone video other than tire pressure warning. Had the paint and tire pressure added to the due bill and bought the car with them to deliver it. On receipt I noticed several things: No second key (Was told it had 2). Called and was told "its in the mail", still waiting 1 mo later. Paint on roof wasn't repaired and a new check engine light appeared. Lots of sticky buttons and a missing retaining ring on the mirror control so it just flops around in the socket. Roof panel is coming loose and needs to be replaced. Lots of paint chips/scratches on the back side of the car. None of these were disclosed. So now its in the shop and likely to get ~$20-30K of repairs before its done. I wouldn't recommend buying a used car from them. I would have bought it still if they disclosed everything that was really wrong, but not at the price I paid. Lesson learned for me. Next time hire a mechanic to go look at it in person and don't trust the sales guys. read more

This review is a month late but I wanted time with the car before we actually left a feedback and had it fully inspected with Audi. We were in the market for another car for myself as my son would be driving soon. I had traded my hardtop mx5 a year before but always knew I wanted a convertible but made sure it can seat all 4 of us. So I found the listing for the 2016 Audi A3 Quattro convertible in glacier white with a beautiful mocha interior. I called to ask for availability and spoke to Matthew. He was friendly only the phone asked how we would purchase if we came in. I advised a good down payment and rest would finance. He sent me an email to fill out the financing info. We then went to see the car in person that evening. I'll admit I did not get the welcome that would expect and felt cold to me. But I said let's still give it s chance. We did test drive it and really liked the vehicle. When we sat down to talk about numbers i didn't feel like they wanted to work with us at all. They gave us numbers that felt out of this world and it just seemed there was no budge? To me I felt like maybe they just didn't want to sell the car? We walked out. My husband and I kept talking about it so the next day I did my own research with financing and saw the numbers that I had was doable. I had my husband reach out to Matthew via text and after a few back and forth we finally agreed on the numbers! We came back that same day and met up with Matthew. Matthew seemed a lot more different this time around much more approachable I felt like. Maybe he was having a bad day prior to who knows? We signed the papers and drove my car away. After driving off we did notice an error on the car so we had it oil changed then waited almost a month to get an appt with Audi to get the other error inspected. We found out we had one last warranty we can use for the inspection! The inspection came back almost perfect! The only thing I can note that could have made this experience better and 5 stars is maybe Matthew's demeanor from our first encounter. Like I said maybe he was having a bad day and we are all humans. At the end we are extremely happy with our purchase! I don't usually leave dealership license plate frames but I left theirs on mine! Lengthy review: I've been owing Allen and Milad this review for a couple of months now but I was really enjoying my new car! Being a first time purchaser I was surprised when I first initially came on the lot. I went in to view a 2012 370Z Sport Roadster, a car I had dreamed of owning since its first release in 09. They had all sort of high end and expensive cars from Bimmers to Bentleys, so I expected our interactions to be a lot more business oriented. I was completely wrong, they treated me like family from the get go! My first interaction was with Allen, he didn't approach me as a business owner but more as a supportive figure. He showed me the vehicle along with minor wears from the previous owner, and allowed me to fully inspect the vehicle while he got the keys. When I asked to test drive the car, he gave me the keys with no hesitation and told me to drive it as far I need to get the feel and comfortability of the car. WOW! That's how you build a trusting relationship with your customer, and made a great first impression with me. On the test drive I actually found certain things that weren't working properly and items I thought needed to be inspected. He noted them down and told me he'd get it checked right away. A week passes by and I ended up checking some other 370Z's from different dealerships throughout that week. None of it compared to my experience at Autobahn Gallery, I felt pressured and was seen more as a sale than a human. Big turn off. I ended up calling back and told Allen I wanted to purchase the vehicle and if the points of inspection were taken care of. He said things were good to go and I set up an appointment with them for the weekend. I mentioned how I applied for financing through their website and, after some back and forth, they got me approved. The financial aspects were ran by his brother Milad. Now Milad ensured the sale with me through his sheer personality and made me feel just as welcomed! Our interaction was so genuine and pure it felt like I was purchasing from a long time friend. He was going through the financial aspect closely in detail alongside me and my parents, and the whole experience was amazing. Easiest and smoothest big purchase I made and it was thanks to them. I saw they had a very agreeably priced AMG S E63 for sale, and after test driving luxury cars all day dealing with the drag of normal dealerships, i found them as my last place to try. All i said was luxury and fast! I was immediately in a car, able to try for myself, and fell in love. The gentlemen working there played no games and i was in and out with a test drive and putting my current car into a commission and drove away one hour later, it was insane. The employees are very good people and for once, i was able to purchase from a dealer without feeling ripped off. I will be doing business with them in the future 100%. I am a chronic car purchaser. I usually buy older high end cars, keep them a year or so, then turn them around. As a result, I work with a LOT of various car dealers. These guys are good. Hamed (sp?) was probably the most knowledgeable seller we ran into. He was very well versed in the car, which is impressive given that they have so many different models on their lot to keep up with. Low pressure. Totally easy to deal with. We didn't end up buying the car, but I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again if they had something I wanted. FYI, they are a used lot. Do not expect them to act like a dealer selling CPO used cars. They are not car restorers or master mechanics. They are brokers. You should be knowledgeable about the cars, and have a third party give them a look. That's just common sense. These folks are legit. I've read the bad complaints, and the majority look like the buyer not knowing what they are doing. read more

I wanted my dream car the BMW i8. I had the affordability factor down but my credit did not. That did not stop Milad and Allen from getting me my car. Milad worked relentlessly and sure enough he found the perfect auto loan for me with a great interest rate. This was over a period of two days, so he didn't give up. I was turned down at Stevens Creek BMW and look out for my review on them as well. Stevens gave up on me in a split second with my credit and never looked back. Now how is that respectful, Milad kept working with me and we got a deal and always treated me like a human being instead of a fat wallet with recycled leather (or pleather). That's customer service! What was also important is how they treated everyone with respect regardless of how they looked. The other dealerships looked at me with my tattoos and all and didn't think I could even afford to sit in it. Some random guy came in the dealership to ask questions and they didn't tell him to f off. No, they treated him like a human being with respect. I'm sure that guy will come back and buy a car after checking out the place. I Uber'd my way to the dealership so I didn't have a car and Milad drove me to my bank. He didn't have to do that but he did! I'll reiterate, awesome customer service! With all the luxurious cars here, you would assume you would get the boujie attitude from the salesmen. Nope, the sales process was seamless and man do I hate dealing with the finance department. But no, Milad had already taken care of it before I even showed up. I Purchased a used convertable from the folks because they had a car I liked and when I called to come see it Matt was very cooperative. He even stayed late for me because I got held up in traffic. I loved the car but when I drove it I noticed a mechanical problem. I told them that I would purchase the car if they would diagnose what the cause was and have it repaired. They had to order some parts (2 motor mounts) so it took about 10 days to repair. I paid cash for the car and picked it up at closing right after they told me it was done. The salesman was in a hurry to go to dinner so I took the car and left. I asked about a second key and he said that they probably had it inside but he was the only one there and he would find it and get it for me. Shortly after taking it home I noticed that the Single Keyfob they had provided me with had only a Blank mechanical key which won't open the car if the battery is dead so that you can fix the battery or jump the car. My first call was greeted with friendly acknowlegement and cooperation. With no results I called back a week or so later and was told that I had bought thr car "As Is" and it's my problem! I suggested that they need to solve the problem and find my key. He said that he would tell the owner. I asked for his name and he hung up on me. It has now been a few more weeks with no call. I took my 14 year old nephew there last weekend while he was in town because he's a HUGE car lover. We walked in and someone said "hi". I had to look around for him. He was a younger guy sitting at his desk, never got up, just scrolled on the computer acting like he was busy the whole time. The owner of this place is next level horrible. I showed up to look at a 2001 bmw he has listed on Craigslist. He made it very clear that he didn't want his time wasted (not sure why a stranger calling about a car needs that clarification but ok). Before going to see the vehicle, I asked him if it had a very specific yet big job done to it to which he said it had been by the precious owner. I get in my car and make the 30 minute drive (with cash per his specifications) to his showroom to buy the vehicle. I arrive and give the car a good walk around. Of course there's body imperfections and the headliner is completely fallen, but I'm like "that's no problem it's a 20yr old car". I go inside and introduce and ask him if he's got any records of the said completed mechanical work (it's a $10k job if not done yet). He rudely replies "nope. I can't verify anything". At that point I thank him for his time and left because he was clear from the beginning that his time being wasted was a top priority. Granted, since it was purchased used without warranty, there was no legal obligation on their part to repair. But they make it seem like it's my fault for installing an aftermarket exhaust. WTF? If they had kindly said "no" I could've lived with it but to blame me and make up some BS like that shows how fake they are when trying to make a sale. I've already steered away two of my friends interested in what they were selling. Hopefully this note helps many others. Forgot to mention... the rod knock occurred immediately after an oil change meaning they probably poured gear oil into the crank case to hide it. Buyer beware. read more

MY PURCHASE & THE SERVICE -- Since I couldn't find the Range Rover I wanted at FiveTen Auto Sales in Hayward, Jay referred me to AutoBahn. Ali at AutoBahn worked with me and even came to pick me up in San Pablo to view the car. The extensive service makes all the difference when making this type of investment. BUT, to be totally transparent with this review let me explain my experience from beginning to end. During the sales pitch from Ali, he constantly put emphasis on the fact that he put new brakes on the car and that the car wouldn't need any work for a looooooong time. I then explained to him that safety measures, like new brakes, is really not a "selling feature" because Autobahn shouldn't want to sell poorly maintained pre-owned cars at their luxury prices. I also asked him about the reverse-monitor, and if there is an issue with the camera because the monitor was not displaying while the car was in reverse. He told me it's only supposed to beep while in reverse and that there is not camera installed for reverse-monitoring. I totally understand the risks associated with purchasing a pre-owned vehicle, BUT I don't appreciate sketchiness and the lies within a sales pitch of a lofty investment. I say this, because after I purchased my pre-owned Range Rover from Autobahn I took it to be serviced because the sensor alerted me that it was already 3000 miles overdue for an oil change (apparently this was a safety/maintenance measure that Ali missed, which is why he didn't brag about it). During the servicing I learned about the important safety measures and maintenance that Autobahn didn't find important enough to address prior to selling a pre-owned luxury vehicle: (1) BRAKES: 20% padding left on brakes (Interesting, right!) (2) RADIATOR: cracked/leaking and must get a new radiator before the summer. (3) BELTS: several cracks need to be replaced, but can wait to be replaced after summer. Also during my servicing I asked about the reverse-monitor and I was told that there is definitely a camera installed and the monitor is intended to display while in reverse. This is minor and certainly not as critical as a new radiator, but to be told incorrect information from the salesman is simply ridiculous. "Wouldn't need any work for a looooooong time" -- my ass! This is why salesmen have such sketchy reputations. read more

Horrible first time experience here and I will never come back! I pulled up into their parking lot this afternoon to try and park my vehicle. This was during business hours and they were open. I was planning on shopping and looking at their cars for sale. One of their jerk employees (tall bald guy taking pictures of one of their black SUV's) walked over to my car and told me that I should not be entering their private property lot and that cars shouldn't be driving into that specific entrance. He was cocky and had a horrible attitude while telling me this. He was going on and on about owning that private property lot and there shouldn't be any traffic driving in blah blah blah. Not sure if he was the owner, but that would be even more disappointing if this was the case. I was also caught off guard since this was my first time at this place. The cul-de-sac that I entered in only had one entrance to this place. I never even met this douche bag before and he comes at me with all this negativity. Do most of their customers travel by foot since they only have one parking lot to enter in LOL? With his bad attitude, I didn't even bother asking him where to park instead. I ended up making a U-turn and left this place and shopped somewhere else. You would think a place like this with very pricey luxury and exotic cars would at least have signs on where to park or not LOL. So glad that this bald employee/photographer and his attitude saved my time today from shopping at this place. I did end up buying a vehicle somewhere else. Being someone who has purchased many cars in my time, it's sad when I come across a dealer like this one. I was ready to purchase a nice black Corvette from this dealer but thankfully ended up not getting the car I came in for. The interaction started off great at first. The car was ready and running for us to test drive when we got there for our appointment. We were greeted from a friendly salesman with no pressure. We drove the car and liked what we saw. Upon returning to the dealership for a talk through of my experience, I brought to his attention the only gripe I had with the car. It showed several signs of its age of course, but nothing drastic or out of line. The only problem was a less than par repair of a prior accident to the rear passenger side of the car. Sanding marks were faint but could be seen (not a huge problem as it wasn't really noticeable to an untrained eye). The more worrisome issue was that the (R) rear wheel sat about 2" more forward then the (L) rear wheel did. I told him my concern for safety as the frame may have been affected causing this issue. He assured me he would have it checked out the next morning first thing and would let me know if it is good to sell as he claimed they just got it in on a trade. He said if it is not safe that he wouldn't sell it at all. I told him I wanted the car if the corrections were made but to let me know as I am a buyer. We left and never heard from him by the next day so I called and left him a message. He never contacted me again and still haven't heard from him yet to this day. It's been 6 days now. Guess I had too much to say about the unsafe car they ARE trying to sell. Which is still for sale as of tonight. Be careful here... read more

Not only do I feel I got a very fair deal, I enjoyed bantering with Hamed during the transaction. He made the process very easy and painless. I had to leave my work truck there over the weekend because I wanted to take my new car home and didn't have a ride. When I picked up my truck that Sunday he had it washed for me. I would give this business and the people who work there a minus five stars if I could because I purchased a 2008 Jaguar XK coupe from Autobahn. I sold the car and lost $10K after a year of use because it had been in an accident and re-painted without my knowledge prior to purchase. I will never buy another car from Autobahn Gallery. I hope you will take my advice and stay away. I received two Carfax reports about my car from Autobahn. One prior to purchase, the Carfax reports no accidents and another Carfax report, after purchase, states there was an accident less than two months prior to purchase. The defendants knew the car had been in accident, but did not volunteer the truth. Experts were able to show me sections of the car repaired and re-painted. I would sue Autobahn under these circumstances, but it's not worth the time and money to do so. BEWARE: I was cheated by Autobahn, but you don't have to be cheated by them. Simply never do business with them and you will be better off. read more
