Shortly after I purchased my vehicle, I got a flat tire and was advised that they'd need to break my wheel locks because there was no key in my car as well as my back tires were wearing unevenly. I had to go purchase a new wheel lock set and was told by my original sales person that I could be reimbursed. I never got a straight answer when I asked what could be done about my tires. Since I had the car for less than a month at that time, I kept calling back to the original dealership who is a sister store of Victory Mazda. I was given the run around and blatantly ignored by multiple employees including sales associates, managers and services managers for 2 months. It wasn't until I filed an official coporate complaint that I heard from anyone. Thank God for Eric from the Victory Honda San Bruno service office who took my complaint seriously and referred me to work with Alex at Victory Mazda which was a more convienient location for me. Alex was so kind and apologetic about my experience and did everything he could to make the situation right after examining my car himself. He was able to rush me my reimbursement and get me 4 new tires and an alignment. Because of the superb customer service I received from Alex, I will continue going to this service center for all of my needs going forward and I am so thankful that I was able to get my issues resolved. We were given an OTD price over text and we asked several times if that was the final price as we didn't want to waste time negotiating after we came in and were assured of it. The salesperson said he would sell it to us at the OTD price if we came in the next 3 days, so we made an appointment for the next day. As soon as we got there, the person we were working with over the phone handed us to another sales guy and walked away saying he was busy. The second sales person gave us the test drive and brought us back and started saying that he couldn't match our price! When we showed him the confirmation messages as proof he said he didn't know who sent it and that then that person was not in the office. When we asked to see a manager he said manager was not around and we would need to wait. And that if we wanted the car it was the price he quoted and he would not honor the price we had been originally given. We wasted 1 hour driving there only becoz they promised us the out the door price !it's a rip off! Don't go here . They just want to get you in the door and then fleece you! Very poor service Ended up going to a Mazda dealership in the next city and got the same car for a better deal than they offered. Lost themselves a sale from the bait and switch tactic.

However, seeing that most of the inventory out there was brand new and out of my price range, I decided to look at older cars with EV/hybrid functionalities. I have to thank Ricky (Ricardo) and Mary Cao for not only their prompt and excellent service, but also their willingness to be honest and straightforward with me with the whole process. I truly felt like this experience was tailored for me, even though I already was decided on the 2018 Honda Clarity they had in stock. As a person who works in customer service as well I felt I knew these people made the taxing experience of shopping for a car easy and relaxing. Yikes. We had a scheduled maintenance check and they mailed it in. Zero confidence they actually…read moredid any of the work - just because the discrepancy between what I could see and what they wrote on the diagnostics. Because they may have done some of the work I have 2 stars. We paid for a "tire inspection" and the paperwork says our tires were all "green" rating (all good) but when I called back to question it (just looking at the tires) and they said "oh yeah these actually need to be replaced". We had a slow leak they didn't find it and actually gave us BS tire pressure on the write up. I got home and it was 4 lbs below and our leak is not that fast. They could have easily done their job and upsold us 4 new tires. They upsold us on resurfacing front brakes but don't have ANY measurements on the wear and tear saying "any reputable mechanic will always resurface front only" but the quote was so high that it was a blessing that helped me find my new mechanic. So thank you for that.

Repeated issues, poor communication, and unreliable service…read more I've been going to Nissan of Hayward for the past two years, and unfortunately most visits have been frustrating. I purchased a used Nissan in 2023 with an extended warranty that is honored by Nissan dealerships, yet this location repeatedly struggled to diagnose issues, handle warranty information correctly, and communicate in a timely manner. I've brought my car in around 6-8 times. I was often told "no issues could be found," only for the same problems to return shortly afterward. Early on, I was charged a diagnostic fee for a battery issue that Nissan couldn't identify, while a third-party mechanic later confirmed the alternator was the cause. Nissan only addressed it after the car had to be towed in again. More recently, I brought the car in for brake noise and Bluetooth/Apple CarPlay issues. While the infotainment problem was acknowledged and eventually covered under warranty, I experienced weeks of inconsistent updates, missed callbacks, and learned that the replacement part had arrived from the Parts Department rather than my service advisor. When I dropped my car off for the scheduled repair, I wasn't told it would be kept over the weekend and only found out late in the day that I wouldn't have it back for several days, causing significant inconvenience. Although a service manager later apologized, there was no follow-up despite multiple attempts to reach out. It's been over 3 months and my issue has still not been resolved. Overall, the lack of communication, inconsistent warranty handling, and repeated service issues have made this dealership difficult to trust. I would not recommend Nissan of Hayward based on my experience.
