You keep your keys with you now, QR codes are easy and make the experience faster, even a gazebo where you can sit in the shade while you wait. I visited this car wash for the first time this morning and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Communication from the staff could have been much better. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to wait while they were finishing up another vehicle, and despite calling out several times to ask if I should leave my keys in the car, I was ignored until someone finally responded. It was already scorching hot outside early in the morning, and no one informed me that there was a waiting room available. I ended up standing in the heat unnecessarily, which was frustrating. As someone who usually cleans their own car--especially as a parent of a toddler--I expected more attention to detail. The service felt like the bare minimum. There was still visible dirt under my child's seat, a spot I had to point out for further I also pointed out a spot where a drink was still on the seat a guy kindly helped but the windows remained streaky and foggy in the corners. Not worth paying $35 If this business wants to earn loyal customers, better communication, thorough training, and more care in cleaning vehicles are necessary. Probably the worst car wash I've ever been to. The machines are way too harsh, and the dryer has almost no pressure. I feel like their success comes more from the extra services and hand-drying rather than the actual wash quality--which is terrible. I've seen some very expensive cars go through there, and I don't see how, but not everyone cares about their car like I do. I'm extremely particular about keeping my cars in top shape, and this place just doesn't cut it. I only took my wife's car because she doesn't care about car washes as much as I do, but I regret it. This is the worst car wash I have every paid for and I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. I would not even say my car was washed or vacuumed because it's still dirty. The photos below show the results of my full service car wash. I paid $48 and my car was not wiped down and my tires look horrendous. I called the Customer Service number I found online and was informed that I could go back to the location and have the associates redo my vehicle. If they didn't clean it the first time, I don't expect them to clean it the second time. I returned and a young man quickly wiped down and vacuumed the areas I requested. I had to point and be specific instead of my vehicle just being cleaned all over because it clearly wasn't cleaned the first time. I am surprised this location is still open judging by the other reviews and my experience. You have to be very thorough and repeatedly request for different parts of your vehicle to be cleaned. read more

Our car was starting to get pretty dirty, so we decided it was time to finally get it was. We opted for a full service was which does the outside along with vacuuming and cleaning the inside. The whole thing took about 30 minutes. You just pull up and give them your keys. You don't need an appointment. There's free WiFi inside while you wait. We were pretty happy with the experience. There were some sunscreen spots on both the outside and inside that they didn't get off. They also didn't clean the hatchback at all, but I'm guessing that's part of their policy for what we got. We had a magnet on the back of our car that we lost to the carwash, so make sure you take everything off the outside and everything out of the inside before you go. Overall, our car was a lot cleaner than when we got there. I would come back again. read more

I have been visiting this Autobell for years. Overall , the service is good - no complaints. Tonight, after unpacking our car from vacation, I decided to take my new (to me) car through the wash to get all the sand, salt, and road grime off. I paid $8.22 for a ride thru wash with the undercarriage spray. After I exited the wash, I went around the vehicle to push the mirrors back in place and to remove the little plastic that they usually put on the rear wiper. There was only tape from where they taped the wiper and a nice 6" deep gouge across my tailgate where one wasn't previously. I drove back around and kid said he didn't know what caused it and that I could file a claim, which I did. He also said that it's likely that Autobell would not honor the claim and likely deny it. Not sure if this is a company script to make people go away but it won't work. Funny thing is that I happened to take a picture of the back of my vehicle a couple of hours earlier and you can plainly see no scratches on the tailgate. Unsure how this will all turn out but I've been a loyal customer for years and even have pre-purchased washes I now never intend to use. I've always had a great experience with this car wash. The machine does a decent job (as good as can be expected for a drive through washing system.) The people who work here (mostly college and high school aged) pay good attention to detail and have no problem going back and doing extra wiping or vacuuming if they accidentally miss a spot. We have a 90 lb yellow lab, so our car is often full of dog hair and dirt. They never seem to have trouble getting it all cleaned up nicely. If you want detailing level of cleanliness, get the car detailed and spend $150-$200. But if you want a decent quality cleaning that'll keep your car in good shape, this place is an excellent option. And don't forget to tip the attendants! If you forget cash they can put your tip on a card and they give you a voucher to hand to your attendant. read more

I have a tree at my home and decided to wax my car one day during the summer. Much to my chagrin the process took longer than I realized and the sun moved quite a bit before I finished. As a result the sun baked the wax in before I could remove it all leaving the car with a cloudy white film over most of the roof and hood. I tried to wipe this off on more than one occasion but it would not come off. The outside temperatures dipped very low for most of this fall so I left the car as it was intending to get it detailed this spring. I took it the car to Autobell just to get the surface dirt off and was shocked at what they did to the car. For the $32.95 fee they were able to get my car looking much better and some of the was lifted. The facility was clean and there were plenty of seats both indoors and outside for you to sit and wait while the staff worked on your vehicle. I very much enjoyed going to this location and with a pleasant and professional staff they have earned 5-Stars. read more

The manager was very polite when he called and asked if I could bring the vehicle back in to give Auto Bell a second chance to clean it. I wasn't available due to work, but I had my mom take the vehicle to be re-cleaned. She informed me that everyone was very pleasant during her visit there and my grandma's SUV looked much better: the floor mats were actually taken out and cleaned, the floor was vacuumed, the interior was wiped down, and the trunk was vacuumed. Omg... I don't know who runs this place but they need to check those young boys Into focusing and working. It literally took about 5 boys to kinda dry my car. And there's only one other car when I came thru! After about 15mins of kinda drying my car. One gentleman took over, back my car up to the vacuum area, re-vacuum it again. All of this took an additional 15/20 mins. The rest of the boys are joking and laughing, not really working. I went over the weekend after I got off work and I got through the line pretty quick. Which they were surprisingly not busy on a weekend. I got the double poly which is the top just under the so called "managers special". Car went through ok no worries, one kid started cleaning the car vanished and then another started cleaning it. What caught me off guard was how someone that was in line in front of me that had a lower package was still having their car cleaned and mine was already done. At first glance it looked alright so I gave him his tip and as soon as I got to the next light I realized that they whipped down my clutch and break with cleaner (which is ignorant) so my feet kept slipping off and I had to stop and wipe them down. I also realized that they didn't clean the dash nor anything else on the inside and you'll see the photos. It's garbage that you can get their best package and your car still look dirty. Not even that they didn't clean the whole car and you could see streaks all over the Windows and dirt still on the car that didn't get cleaned off. I can look pass the dirt left in shifter because it's probably the most overlooked spot in a car however, the dog hair in plain site is inexcusable. Do better or drop the price. My first time at Auto Bell (S Tryon) and I am less than pleased. I purchased the "Special C" Package $25.99 I told the admitting attendant about the big splatter of bird poop on my car and he reassured me that it would be cleaned. When another attendant gave me my car back the poop was still there. I have a black car it's not hard to notice it. He clearly dried my car off with the poop, it's not until I pointed it out that he took a rag and wiped the poop off. Second thing all of my personal belongings were thrown on the ground! My combs, my sons gloves, my HANDICAP sticker? I mean if you're going to remove items from my vehicle PLEASE put it back, don't leave me to retrieve my items then have to approach you about where my handicap sticker is. I've always liked the auto bell and I go to several around town. You can get out of the car while they clean it, or you can sit in your car thru the wash and just drive off w/o waiting to get it dried, if you're in a hurry. I've had issues with this particular auto bell recently, though. On at least four occasions I've asked for the trunk of my car to be vacuumed only to find out later it wasn't done. I've got an suv that collects a good bit of debris from landscaping supplies, so I'm always asking they make sure the back gets vacuumed out thoroughly. They always seem to acknowledge what I'm asking, so I don't know where the disconnect is, but I hate being at the market later only to find out the back hasn't even been touched when I go to load my groceries. Same thing happened just this weekend, except this time I checked before driving off. Nope - hadn't even been touched. As dirty as when I pulled in. The guy whow as drying my car took care of it right away, but it should have been handled when they other guys were doing the vaccuming before it went through the wash. A quick trip to the car wash just took longer than expected. Stark contrast to the auto bell in Clover I like to go to. No communication issues there. I had my SUV cleaned today on South Tryon 28273. Paid extra to have my mats cleaned. Spent almost $40.00. Plus a $5.00 tip. I got home and noticed my front passenger seat still had cracker crumbs. My interior had not been wiped clean. My trash in the floor was left. This was a rushed hit and miss cleaning. I'm very disappointed and upset.
