This is my first here. Usually when visit Charlotte for work I visit the 7 eleven gas station car wash drive thru. Since that drive thru was broken I took a chance on this. When I first drove through this spot there was a 2 block tower like u insert ur credit card and pay self for car wash but it was just a light I do not what for it is standing there Then I drove up a little bit and noticed bunch of cars in-front, as I drove closer then I was able to see the price list of different wash options. Note to management, try to make the board bit readable from 2 car or 1 car distance away that will make ur line move faster. I took a $10 exterior wash and sealant. Towards the entry of the drive thru, u park ur car in neutral and the system take over and drive thru the wash. All the wash was fine but the drying part was weak and it was worse than the 7 eleven car wash. It's not that great but ok for the price u paid. I expected much better than 7 eleven. read more

I came here for a full service wash, Was recommended an additional service for the " master vacum ", I have dogs and like to keep a clean car, so I didn't mind paying the extra $15 dollar charge for my car to be vacuumed properly. Went through the machine fine, parked the car so 2 teenagers could clean it inside ( note I had some items inside my trunk and told them they didn't had to worry about vacuuming there, just front and and back seats), but I believe the pictures I took after the completed service speaks for itself. There's no way my car received the " master " service here, it barely got any service ! The seats weren't moved neither were the mats, also was informed that the full service wash doesn't include wiping down the seats or doors ? Never heard of a place that offers a full service but doesn't wipe your interior? I requested to talk to a manager, of course there wasn't one this place is ran by teenagers, however a nice young kid came and offered to have my car redone, I will be back in the morning because frankly this service was not worth 36 bucks. Will see how things go in the morning But still, I would not recommend this place. Save your time and money ! I have been to this location so many times I can't count. I have the prepaid unlimited washes plan, and 1/2 time that I've paid a $7 upgrade for the polishes, I don't get it. They blame it on their computer. When I ask for either a refund or a voucher, they refused and with an attitude. They insist on making me wash my truck a second time, which I refuse to do. So, I call their corporate to complain, I'm on hold for over 30 minutes. Matter of fact, as I type this, it's going on 45 minutes on hold. To hell with this car wash chain. I paid $60 for an extensive vacuum with an additional wipe down. Obviously bc of the normal mess with kids. I was told I had to pay extra for the vacuum because it would take over an hour. It took them roughly 20min. They did a half ass job cleaning the floor and didn't vacuum under the seats. They didn't wipe down doors or the cup holders. Also didn't wipe down the back of the seats. After calling customer service who did nothing, I asked them to fix what they didn't do. And of course, after $60 and time wasted, they still didn't. I was told by the second guy who did it that they can only spend 30 minutes on a car. The lady who rung me up, said that was a lie. otherwise they wouldn't offer a $15 additional vacuum service. Updating my review... the Manager reached out to me via phone and offered to look at my car and see what was wrong last week after I posted my negative review on Yelp. I couldn't make a return trip to their location right away so we agreed to meet a week later. When I arrived the Manager greeted me and took my key and re-washed my car. I Paid 41.00 for the Manager special- buy one get one free last week - so I basically got my 2nd wash that I had actually paid for since I gave my card for the 2nd wash back to them last week asking for my money back. No money was ever refunded. Once the re-wash was done he asked me if it looked okay and - believe it or not AGAIN I pointed out to the Manager the lint and left over debris (for lack of a better description) still on my carpet front and back seat areas. His explanation was the rags left Lint - even though it was more than lint. He saw it and went and got the vacuum and re-vacuumed my floors. I pointed out to him THAT dirty carpet was my very point of contention on my last visit. Carpets simply not cleaned well. I give the AutoBell 3 stars for trying. Would I go back again ...? Probably not. Would I recommend them ... no. Sorry but it just wasn't handled well. I guess I was expecting more. Repeat of same situation only with Manager handling it. read more

This was my first Autobell experience and overall it was a pleasant one. I made sure to clean out my car prior to my visit - all except for the stuff I had in the back of my CRV, but told them that I didn't expect them to get back there. After all, it was just going to get dirty again. I purchased a Full Service Car Wash which includes exterior wash and vacuum/wipe down inside. I went to Autobell specifically because they have the brushes. I just don't feel like brushless does the trick on any car unless it's already clean. Now, my car was pretty dirty (hadn't been washed in months and we just had snow), so I was prepared for it to not be totally clean going through the wash one time. To my suspicion, it wasn't spotless, but better than it was before. The guy who wiped my car down did a decent job, though he left some spots that were pretty visible. He gladly wiped them down when I pointed them out. They did a great job vacuuming the floor/seats and wiping down my dashboard. The windshield though had some streaks. For what's it's worth, I paid $18, plus $5 tip. Any professional detail is going to run you $100+, so you get what you pay for. The staff that work there are mostly high school aged kids and they are busting their humps. I was impressed at how well everything was flowing. Pro Tip (because I'm a pro after one visit - ha): if you have any magnet decals on the back of your car, take them off before you go through the wash! I thought I had lost mine (total noob move) but it ended up being underneath my license plate. If you do forget, tell one of the staff and they will keep an eye out when they do a final sweep at the end of the night and call you. read more

I was really disappointed in the service of my car detailing when I got home I got full service so I paid 60 bucks for the outer and inner of my vehicle to be cleaned and when I got home there was streaks all over my windshield they did not vacuum underneath any of the seats in the car the back of my van hadn't been vacuumed and none of the windows in the back of the car had been cleaned as it stated it would be in the full-service treatment. I also tipped the gentleman servicing my vehicle generously in retrospect I should've inspected before I had done so. read more

I purchased the Manger's Special and the matts front and back So $41 plus change and can I say I think this will definitely be my last trip back I go to get in my car and it looked like they didn't even vacuum I asked the guy if maybe they could try again to vacuum so they attempted. Then the manger's special is Armor all everything on the inside half done then the cup holder was not even touched!! The icing on the cake is I get in my car and three's a big mark on the windshield. So I called the guy back and asked if he could clean it And I got a Huge Attitude!! Depends on the kid wiping down your car. The last "managers special" at $29 bucks was, well, less than "special." They do a decent job; yet, I'm not sure if the stuff sprayed on the car with the flashing lights is anything more than soapy water. It's NEVER as clean as you'd do it. . .but you're not having to do it. And frankly, it seems like the worst scratches tend to show up afterwards. Maybe they're easier to see on a clean car? I hate that I spent as much as I did and my car, especially the inside was not cleaned well. Before I came to Autobell, I went to the beach and there was sand on the floor, when I left Autobell it was still there, along with plenty of other stuff that could be vacuumed out. After my car was done and they came and got me, I asked if the back was vacuumed. They said yes and a nice young man said he could do it because I told him it looked like it hadn't been touched. He spent another couple of minutes on it and it still looked unfinished but I was in rush and had to go. Are vacuuming seats not part of vacuuming? My seats weren't touched. Went here today to get our car washed and vacuumed. We did the Armor All package which was about $50 all together. It looks as if they didn't vacuum it at all, and rather than wiping down the interior before applying the armor all, they just put it over the dirt. We would have asked to speak with the manager but we were in a major hurry today. We're taking our car to port to be shipped to Hawaii in a couple of days and we need the car to be really clean or they won't take it. Looks like I'll be cleaning the interior myself. Totally not worth the $50 we paid. I expected more from auto bell because I had taken my vehicles to the one in Fuquay-Varina and they would come out looking like they had just been detailed by the dealership. read more

Having someone else, nay, a team of people washing your car is a wonderful thing. It's a brilliant dance of suds, vacuums, towels, sprays and wipes swirling around like Fantasia. It's really not that glamorous, but it's a brilliant system they have going on. Very efficient and certainly adoptive of the "assembly line" type of business. These dudes and dudettes can crank out a "clean" vehicle in no time. The mechanized car wash does a pretty decent job. Sprays most nooks and crannies with maybe a spot missed here and there. The wax and Rain-Ex finish is a nice touch. I like seeing those summertime rain drops zing off of my windshield like a bad habit. A little too spotty on the wheels, though. Some large spots were missed and not tended to, but hey, it's not like it's the end of the world. The only big flaw that came out of my experience was the interior of our car. Pools of water in cupholders, dirt still on the seats and floor mats, and the inside of our windshield wasn't wiped down nearly at all. I'm still trying to get smudges out from the guys who attempted to get this done. A bit annoying, but not the worst thing that could happen. Auto Bell is a great service if you don't have the resources to do it yourself. The prices can vary on which service you choose, so I'm not sure that all pricepoints would really be worth the dollar amount for the service we had rendered. May be back if need be! It can be good and bad - in my case, they did run the vacuum through the driver and passenger floors - but wasn't really paying any attention to detail. I have black carpets and mats so you can see what needs to be picked up by the vacuum. I also think they should've moved the mats and vacuumed in between the mat and the carpet but they clearly didn't do that. The exterior was OK - the main body appeared to be clean but the lower body wasn't. Their pluses? They are fast and you don't have to do it yourself. For the price, I don't think it's worth it. Usually I hand wash my cars. This was my first experience at AB. I paid +$40 for the manager special w/rainx plus a full armor all. When I got home my wife told me I should have tipped the guy, I did't know. Well, I am glad I did not; 1. Floor mats where dirty underneath, dash board dials had lint. 2. Armor all was not applied very thoroughly, inside doors, it just stopped, cup holders ignored and missed under the rearview mirrors etc. 3. Drips from the poly or shine coat above passenger door and on glass, took me some agressive polishing to get these two huge drip areas off the paint. I haven't atracked the glass yet. 4. Bumpers not wiped down on edges, it's an almost new truck C%\*^? Sake make it shine! All this time the truck got wiped down the guy used only two dirty rags. Was like watching the maids on Hidden camera wiping your hotel room counter with the towel you step out of the shower on. WTF The drive through is A plus the vacuum and wipe down crew is a failure. read more

I just brought my RAM in to get all the bugs off my windshield and front bumper. The drive thru didn't clean all of them off but to my surprise Max took the time to scrub my truck, exceeding my expectations. Our son graduated from college and it was time for him to return his car to us so we could pass it down to his younger sister. It was filthy. It had not been cleaned for two years. It smelled of pipe smoke and was covered in dog hair. Coffee spills were everywhere. We planned to have it professionally detailed. This appointment was not going to take place for a few weeks so I decided to take it to Auto Bell to tide us over until the "professionals" could fix it. I spent $20.00 total. When I got back to my car I was stunned at the difference. The workers spent so much time vacuuming the car and wiping down all surfaces. It looks like a different car.
