Equipment always great. Vac has good power. Today I went thru and no vacuums stations were available. Seemed more interested in having a guy at kiosk trying to upsell me than someone in the lot providing actual customer service helping actual customers who've already paid to find open vacuum. Lame. Lesson learned. If more than 1-2 cars in the line find another car wash. Too expensive for no open vac stations and no help. Happy to reach back but that email you provided keeps bouncing. read more

I have been a member of Sams Express Car Wash since 2023 and I have not once had an issue with any of the services provide. I usually go to the one near Lawyers Road or Albemarle Road. However, today i decided to try to go to the one in Matthews. I have the top wash unlimited plan and I likr my tires extra clean and shiny so I requested this and the crew member denied me this service. This situation, which has never happened before, was okay with me. Until He started giving me an attitude when I explained to him that I pay for a membership that should provide my needs as his costumer. This location did not have crew members that prepped the cars right AT ALL. I then went to the restroom and when I went inside, it was pure disgusting and unsanitary conditions. The one on Lawyers road was nothing compared to what I had to see in the Matthews location one. The matthews location had toilet papers all over the floor, sticky floors, feces marks that were old. I came out of there immediately and went on to vacuum my car quickly and the vacuum suctioning was EXTREMELY POOR. The trash cans were overfilled and disgusting. Smelled days old. in order to get out of there. I went to find a glass cleaner and the bottles were not there. The only glass cleaner they had was empty. The carpet machine was not working at all. I then requested to speak with the manager and when I talked to the crew members, they all seem to have an attitude so I wasted no time and quickly left. They need better staff and managers as they clearly do not know the meaning of QUALITY SERVICE. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING !!!! DO NOT RECCOMEND. read more

While all the Sams washes are great, I find this location to be the best. Never crowded, car always comes out clean and the staff is professional and eager to please. I am very excited to write this review today is Sunday morning is bright and sunny outside but it is very cold. I've visited this car wash sometime last year and I did not write a favorable review however, Delaina, The guest services rep that I met today has really changed my perception of this car wash. I have avoided this car wash for almost a year but I happen to be in the area and my car was in need of a good cleaning. I selected the Deluxe car wash with Matt claim but for some reason my payment was not accepted at the machine. Delaina, came out to help me at the machine and we realized that it was a problem with the card so she took it inside and ran it. Unfortunately, she could not get the transaction to go through. She told me that she was aware that the funds were available on the card but the card was defective. Nevertheless, she gave me a complimentary car wash. I am not certain of why my card would not go through because it is a brand new card and it has been activated. I feel so grateful that she offered me the complimentary car wash and didn't make me feel embarrassed about of my card. I don't know how long she has been working here but I deafly can see her smile through the mask and she seems like a very sweet person. Good place to wash your car, quickly. I seem to remember these locations only having one or two employees around but now it seems like there are five or six when I drive up. Not sure what prompted the change, hopefully nothing that will hurt my car. Employees are typically giving hand signals or holding up signs. This auto car wash is not suitable for luxury cars or any car you want to maintain longterm. One the brushes are not cleaned accurately and you will encounter paint swirls on your car. Think about it, you're on an assembly line of dirty cars back to back , the brushes will collect dirt, rocks, etc , that will and can scratch up your clear coat and paint, esp over time. Two, the water spots are endless and on a hot , sunny day they will bake into your car , proof of the shampoo not being top quality . Three , the vacuums do not perform well, the mat cleaner is broken alot . Four, the staff is predominantly young adults and teens who do a lack luster job at brushing your car and spraying it in the beginning on the hard spots like wheel fenders and bumper . I've noticed paint swirls in one of our cars and small scratches on the other . Our fault for trusting quick and convenience . If you're a car enthusiast like I am , take it to a reputable hands free wash or self service wash . read more

Wile I had a bad experience by being overcharged for a fancier wash than I wanted at the car wash, management reached out to me immediately to make things right. Ran my car thru with a deluxe wash including underbody wash. Car was still dirty after first wash, entire underbody was still covered in salt and DRY. Went back and ran it again, still dirty and dry under the car. Rest of the car was still unacceptably dirty in several places. Take your money to auto bell and save half by getting a ride thru. Man this car wash scratches the hell out of cars. I brought my brand new car 2018 dodge grand caravan here with no stracth anywhere at all. After I get out off wash I seen multiple long stretches on my hood . It made me furious. And the manager told me stretches are not long enough and it doesn't go the way brushes move.Total lie. If you have an SUV with exposed from windshield wiper nozzles, avoid this car wash. I added fluid right after the wash, and they were working right before. The nozzles were destroyed and cost 200 dollars (parts plus labor). I have a 2012 XTerra Pro. Check your wiper nozzles before you use this car wash UPDATE. The company met with me any my mechanic and we came to the conclusion the wiper nozzles had failed from corrosion. I recommend Sams XPress highly for their willingness to take my comment seriously. They now get four stars, because they are efficient and value priced, and honest. read more

$5 for quick wash AND unlimited vacuum use? That's a no brainer. First, you have to know what this place is and what it isn't. This is not Autobell where you'll pay enough to feed your family and they clean the inside of your car as well. You get what you pay for. This place is MUCH cheaper, but you have to vacuum yourself. Being OCD, I personally prefer this. With that being said, I will say that when I was vacuuming my car, one of the employees started rubbing the vehicle with a clean towel. It had been a while since I've had it washed and I basically went in to get the pollen off so opted for the cheapest wash off the menu. I have become obsessed with this particular car wash and having a clean car. Something about driving around in clean and freshness. Once I run out of my coupons I bought in July.....I will be purchasing the monthly plan. I love everything about this place. The vacuums are powerful with a floor and a crevis cleaner attachments. The Mat Washer is the ticket! I prefer doing the inside of my own car. With all the pet hair.....other car washes just won't do the same job I would. My car looks detailed each time I leave. Great car wash right next to the new QT. New, clean, and gives a great wash. I like that it is a "no tipping" car wash, because I never seem to have a few dollars in cash you need at the other washes. After my first trip I got the unlimited wash pass, which is $30 a month. Considering that I park outdoors underneath a tree, I've gotten great use out of it so far. It comes with free tire shine, a token for their car mat washer/dryer machine, and of course free vacuums. The machine actually scans a tag they put in your window, so it is very easy to use. The staff has been great. Totally recommend the pass if you live nearby. read more

I've tried a few washes now. Car comes out clean, but always seems to need a lot of touching up. Moreover, it does NOT come out dry, so its going to spot a lot which sucks. The vacuums to me are a good news/bad news story. They are free and you can take as long as you would like. Sadly, this means YOU get to do it. It would be nice if they were an option to pay to get the vacuuming done. I needed to clean the dashboard, so I had to do a bataan deathmarch from the end of the parking lot where there was an open vacuum, back to the inside vending machine. After I was done using this goopy sponge that cost an extra $1, I needed to wash my hands. Lo and behold, no paper towels in the restroom, only hand dryers. In fairness I can see where people would steal paper towels to use on their cars. So, how about putting some sort of disposable towel in the vending machine? Anyways, what I am really getting at, is the entire row of vacuums on the building side were closed off for no real apparent reason, to include the HANDICAPPED parking space (which doesn't have a vacuum anyways...it should). Anyways, with the extra wax and cleaning the mats I was in for $20 yet still had to do my own vacuuming. Not so sure this is much of a steal. An attendant came out to get the plastic bag off my rear wiper, but made no attempt to finish cleaning or drying my car. I kind of thought she might, but...nope. So, I guess if I feel I need to do my own vacuuming I'll be back, but otherwise I'll stick with that other place. read more

I'm very regular customer with this car wash , cleaning my cars frequently there , last time , i washed my car and the washing machines at sam's car wash broke my antenna cover , i found out later that day that i lost the cover , but it's not a big issue , i ordered one alternate online for $15, and when it delivered to me ,it didn't fit, i contacted the car dealership where i bought the car from , they told me you have to get it directly from original dealership parts , and it cost $200 the part by itself. When i got this information from them , i went back to sams car wash and i claim the issue and i showed them that the screw inside the part was broken from the base screw , the responsible guy at sam's called me back for my claim , he told me we have limited time frame to get back to the cameras and we cannot get back for a month back , noted that most of the security cameras you can get back easily more than a month back. Although the guy who called me was nice with me and the employees are nice and helpful, but unfortunately I'm not going back to this car wash again. Disappointed read more

I LOVE this Sam's Xpress! I came through here the other day to get my car washed and was more than impressed! After going through the wash I pulled in to vacuum out my car. Questen, an employee, came over to make sure I was pleased with my wash. Then he went and got a towel and dried off my entire car! I've been to many different Sam's Xpress locations and they have never wiped down my car like they did at this one. His costumer service was above and beyond and made my day! This place seem like a good place to wash your car until you decide to get the monthly unlimited washes, that is when you get to know really unprofessional people to work at this place! I have never being so mistreated any where but here. To begin with the day I decided to buy the unlimited washes I was giving an sticker that the attendant told me that they will scan and let me right in; guess what next time they make me stop one guy call the other and this to a third one that goes inside to check the paper you fill, then they tell you that the card is not on file and that the card was not charge last time. when I check my statement sure enough (off course my card was charge in full). I did show my statement and here it goes the dance of this people calling to the boss (who is very rude and offensive). after all this they late me in, the 4 guys with the pressure washer just talking to one another don't even taking care of my car, at the end of the wash I went to the vacuum area, and the manager was waiting ready to attack me and ask for the same thing that the guy upfront already verify (my Bank statement); I did show him AGAIN that the card was charge and he kept on saying open that and so on (like I was stealing something) I told the manager that why instead of attacking me and being rude fix the mess. He went on lying and saying that I cuz an employee and that he was gonna forbid my entrance next time. I told him that it was a complete lie that I ever say any bad word to an employee, and that I don't have any problem on not coming back ever again to this place, but that he should refund me the money that I pay in advance, He told me that it was not gonna happen (so they stole my money, on my face). I'm a club member. Service down hill. Vacuum wasn't working and they didn't do a thing other than tell me to go to another one. Problem was a line of 6 cars waiting for vacuums. They said "sorry don't know what's to tell you". Also, as a towel program participant it bothers me they want was the towels we paid for yet they lay out free ones. Kind of "in your face" for people that paid for better towel with replacements. And finally, they get lazy. Most time they don't go over the front window with the broom. Just pure lazy. ATTN: MANAGEMENT I have a 2015 Nissan Versa. I like it clean but unfortunately dirty and muddy near work: 1 I am tired of going to vacuum and getting hardly any pickup. One side has a long tube that would be perfect to get between the seats. The other side has a broad flat nozzle ... WHAT GOOD DOES IT DO IF IT HARDLY HAS ANY SUCTION. Don't fool yourself this even is in the morning when the vacuum canisters should be performing at a high level. 2 Floor mat washer works like crap. Other Sam's (i.e. new one in Monroe) work great. 3 Tired of paying for tire clean and it looks like crap. 4 Not sure how lower body doesn't get clean. Crappy car wash, manager that didn't care. Won't be going back. Half the windshield was still dirty while the other half clean. Dirt and bugs still around the front grill, while the hood was clean. Manager claimed that because it was 1 day later there was NOTHING that could be done about it. What horrible customer service. Just not GOOD ENOUGH. The guys who are to prewash it with their brushes do it halfway. My windshield is never done thoroughly, nor are the sides. I never get their tire black because it oozes all over my wheels. I end up CLEANING UP THEIR MESS. It's convenient but I can do a much better detailed job myself. I should come out of the car wash with MINIMAL wiping/drying. read more
