Okay, I was skeptical going into this. Glamping? But seriously this place was so rad. My daughter was in heaven. They have air streams, cabins, and "adventure tents". We wanted the camping experience. But Yosemite is difficult for camping reservations so we went this route. And I have to say it added to the entire Yosemite trip. A couple downsides. One, is that it's an hour from the central hub of Yosemite. And when you consider how crazy finding parking can be in Yosemite right now that is a pretty serious negative if I'm honest. But. It's a gorgeous drive. Two, you have to use wagons to haul your gear to your space. We luckily were not very far, but it did take us several trips. And lastly, I really wish that the bathrooms for the tents was separate from the clubhouse. Basically the bathrooms for the pool and the clubhouse and the adventure tents are all one and the same. Would've liked the adventure tents to have their own bathroom, giving a little more privacy. There were several events while we stayed there (I do think it's a cool place to have an event or even a wedding), but the people from the events were constantly coming in and out of the bathrooms. Shared bathrooms aren't my favorite to begin with. Trying to take a shower while event goers are popping in and out... Not my fave. All that said, I really enjoyed the vibe of the place overall. Some of the air streams and cabins are situated on a cute little pond.. Aaaaand. The pool made us all happy at the end of the day. The entire staff here is so dog friendly. The clubhouse had really cool little areas. And was very clean. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The clubhouse has a tiny kitchen with a few nibbles. As well as a bar. Highly recommend the margaritas! Pizza was solid as well. Cute little gift shop with some snacks and essentials and souvenirs. I haven't stayed in Curry Village, but we saw it when we did the mist trail and yikes. This place is so much nicer than the tents, the pool, or the facilities there. If you're looking for a glamping/adventure tent situation I would recommend auto camp. We want to check out their location in Sequoia next! read more

Absolutely amazing experience! Visited for a Saturday evening one night stay in March and was so surprised with all the amazing amenities. The room itself has everything needed: a spacious shower, a sink & toilet with good water pressure, a small fridge and microwave, a kitchen sink, cooking area, a nice bed and a couch that opens up and can fit one more person on there. Got an unexpected upgrade whe checked in and the room was in a more secluded area so that was nice! The common area was so nice and useful: coffee, meals, swings, couches, anything one might need. There was even a free yoga class with high quality yoga mats provided on Sundays, and every day there is a scheduled event. Even the pathways with numbers for the rooms were lit up so to be found easier. Ordered a pizza set (includes 2 pizzas) and it was tasty, with an over offered to us. Each AutoCamp car/bus has an outside area with a table, chairs, and a bench. The atmosphere was so serene, truly a great place. Also pet friendly! Location: 1 hour away from the Yosemite National Park but pretty okay distance considering the other options. Loved it so much that will visit other AutoCamp locations. read more

Read this if you are even thinking of staying a night here! Me and my family decided to stay at this place as shown on the photos that this place a quite beautiful, calm, restful spot, but this place looks like it's quietly falling apart, and not in a charming, "needs a little TLC" kind of way, but in a neglect-has-set-in-and-stayed-there way. The window area is especially rough. The paint along the sill is cracked, uneven, and visibly deteriorating, with grime and possible water damage creeping into the seams. The corners look like they've been absorbing moisture for a long time, there's discoloration, warping, and buildup that suggests it hasn't been properly sealed or cleaned in ages. That's not just cosmetic, it hints at ongoing maintenance issues. Then there's the debris situation. The small black particles scattered in the metal container and around the window area give off a dirty, unkempt vibe, like basic cleaning just isn't happening regularly. Whether it's dirt, pest droppings, or just accumulated gunk, it doesn't inspire confidence in the overall hygiene of the space. And speaking of pests, the visible insect on the wall near the window doesn't help your case at all. Even a single bug in a spot like that makes the place feel poorly maintained, especially when paired with the cracks and grime that could easily serve as entry points. Overall, the impression is pretty clear: this is a space where maintenance has been ignored, cleanliness is inconsistent at best, and small problems have been allowed to snowball into bigger ones. It doesn't feel fresh, cared for, or particularly livable, it feels like something that's been left to slowly decline. read more

First thing to note is the name is deceptive, it's more than an hour away from Yosemite and pretty far west from the park. We knew this before coming here and didn't plan on going to Yosemite but be warned if that's what you are planning. If you look for reservations during Black Friday they've been 40 percent off the past couple years and the only time we reserve Autocamp is if we can get the discounted rates. My family and my brother came so we rented a cabin, we just wanted to enjoy nature and each other and it was perfect for us. We also got very lucky and came right after rain and it rained again when we left. The cabins have a queen bed, 1 bunk bed, and a sofa to sleep on. The kitchen is right next to the front door so it's easy to see outside and watch the kids, the door is also a dutch door so you can keep the top half open for full visibility and to make it easier to talk to people outside. The fire pit is outside and has an integrated grate, be careful with it, it's positioned to block your path near the tables and I hit it pretty hard when I couldn't see it at night. You can only burn compressed wood in the pits and I find food doesn't taste as great in it and the fire burns more quickly. We loved the friendly cats that kept hanging out near our cabin and the morning we left we saw a flock of wild turkeys. The sides of the cabin were also covered by woodpecker holes so watch out if you come during Spring! read more

AutoCamp Yosemite is hands-down the ultimate family camping experience--without giving up any comfort! Staying in a beautifully appointed Airstream with cozy sleeping space for the whole family feels like living in a dream you actually get to experience. The site itself is stunning, with fire pits for each Airstream and a communal one for gathering, plus free bikes to explore. The main lounge has a small but thoughtfully curated selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, wine and beer, and we loved the complimentary apple cider from 3-6 PM and granola with milk each morning. There's so much to do for families--daily activities like yoga, bingo, painting, rock crafts, and more. Our absolute favorite was a stargazing event with Mr. Andy, which was a highlight of the trip. Between the fun, the comfort, and the breathtaking setting, we felt like we were living in a dream we'd imagined and then got to experience for real. I really enjoyed my stay at AutoCamp Yosemite. I absolutely love the concept, it feels adventurous without actually having to camp, which is perfect for someone like me. I love hiking and national parks, but I'm definitely not the tent-sleeping type This setup was ideal for my husband and me. We stayed in one of the Airstreams, which was super comfortable and smart designed I'd say. It had a queen bed, a full bathroom, and a small kitchen (no stove). You can grill outside or make a bonfire (you do need to use their firewood, which they sell on-site, for wildfire safety reasons). They also have a main lodge where the front desk is, and it's a great spot to hang out, grab a drink, or get a bite to eat. There's a small convenience store too with beer, wine, s'mores kits, firewood, souvenirs, and more. AutoCamp also hosts fun activities like yoga sessions, s'mores nights, happy hours, and other events, which I think is really fun One thing to note: it's a bit remote. It's about an hour from Yosemite National Park, so plan ahead. We drove from LA and stopped at a grocery store beforehand to grab snacks, steaks, and veggies to grill, which worked out perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed: plates, utensils, steak knives, grilling tools, wine glasses, a wine opener, etc. We visited during the winter and it was so clear at night that we could see many stars and even the Milky Way. I had no idea AutoCamp existed, but kudos to my husband for booking a wonderful weekend away for us. We opted for the more private airstream option and was able to bring our dog along for the fun. There's a lot of good here - the airstream was clean and organized. The kitchen area had a lot more tools available than we thought which was great and we had no complaints about where the airstream was located on the property. They have carts available to use if you have a lot of stuff. The onsite staff were all friendly and personable which made the experience all the more welcoming. Not necessarily bad, but a few minor cons I'd share: -Parking is restricted to one area so you are not able to drive your car to your specific camp area. Not terrible because they have people driving around in golf carts that could take you to your campsite if needed. -You get free coffee and dry granola in the morning, but that's it in terms of a breakfast. -They do hold events here - on our first night here there was a wedding celebration going on so we could hear the music playing even though we were further in so I can only imagine how it was for the people staying in camps close to the venue Overall, I do appreciate the thought that went behind AutoCamp Yosemite and I'd give it a 4/5. This is probably our last time going to an Autocamp at least in Northern California. We decided to book a group glamping trip with 6 other families, all in our own individual air streams. Since the last time we were here, the service and facilities are even more worse for wear and the Airstream interiors themselves are in dire need of touch up or rehabilitation. For example, no more waters included in the Airstream, our lamps and hand crank flashlight included in the cabin were broken, there was orange colored build up in the shower, there was a fair amount of dust underneath the futon. For the service, one of the families we traveled with needed a change of sheets as their toddler had wet the bed, while Autocamp provided sheets in the morning, they made the family change it themselves. In the morning we had wanted to get some milk for our toddler just 5 minutes past breakfast time, so the granola and milk had just been put away. The front desk person told us the milk now is only for coffee, and that we would need to buy the milk from their store. They did relent when they saw that our little one was fussing and gave us 1/4 a cup for our kiddo. Really? To be fair, it was not all terrible. Some of the staff were super nice and tried to be helpful. Having a pool on-site during a hot summer glamping trip is fantastic (though the pool is also showing its age with multiple cracks/chips on the pool deck and edges of the pool. Watch out for your little ones). The beer selection is also not bad and having a happy hour really helps to lighten the mood. With all this being said, if we are paying over $400 a night, I would expect much better services and amenities upkeep. Compared to when we first came here back in 2020, the enshittification of this place has been remarkable. I just do not see the value in spending this much money staying in a place like this anymore. There are actual hotels that are a much better experience for the same amount of money or just using the same amount of money you spend for a two night stay at Autocamp and buying yourself a really nice inflatable tent with accesories if you really are adverse to tent/pole camping. I just cannot recommend this place. If you do go, expect to be put into tourist trap that looks pretty at first glance but has so many flaws once you look a little deeper. read more

AutoCamp Yosemite made for a fantastic experience. This was our base of operations during our 2-day adventure at Yosemite, and it was a great choice. We chose to stay in an adventure tent which had electricity, air conditioning, a mini-fridge... well I can't exactly say we were roughing it, but it still felt like camping! Staff was very nice and friendly, always greeting us with a smile and willing to help. They had live musicians which was a neat touch, and the food was pretty good too (we picked up a s'more kit and some BBQ stuff since we forgot to bring that). I'll say if you're unfortunate enough to get placed next to a louder group with a different bedtime than you that can be a bummer, and there were some instances where people who were not driving EVs parked in the EV charging spot (not cool man) - but that's no fault of the camp's. The common area and the clubhouse was nice and close. Beautifully designed and decorated with MCM vibes. They had live music two of the three nights we were there. The young lady who checked us in day one was super friendly and nice. Their freshly made pizzas are very tasty. They also have $2 off their drinks during happy hour every day. We stayed in one of the suites and was by the man made pond. It was cute but the bullfrogs were SO LOUD at night. Kept us up and woke us in the middle of the night. They sound like geese yelling at each-other. Make sure you bring earplugs. They do not provide any. The public light was right outside our window and we had no curtains for that window. I mentioned it to front desk and they said they'd have someone to check on that since it's supposed to turn off automatically. Nope. Still bright orange outside our window. The shower has no barrier and the water pools and gets everywhere. Make sure you bring crocks or flip flops. Luckily you can just grab fresh towels from their shower rooms. So we did that every day so we can use old towels to dry off the floor. The fold out futon is tiny. If you have two adults and two teens, I wouldn't recommend this cramped sleeping arrangement. Free EV charging was great. Not enough non Tesla chargers though (only 2 with converters). Not enough EV chargers in general. 2hr limit for each charge. We were late to move our car first night and got an agitated staff asking if we can move our "Tesla" because others are waiting. Thinking she got the wrong number because we don't own a Tesla, I informed her we don't have one. She just annoyingly said or whatever EV car you have . Um ok. Not a great first night experience. Then the next day we moved it before they called us and we STILL got a text reminding us to move our car 2 hours after we had already moved it. WTF. Targeted much? Anyway the stay was ok. Could have been better after spending $2k+ for three nights and it's till an hour drive from Yosemite. read more

I'd suggest to book when they have a sale going on if this is your first time + i noticed on the last day there's some mold build up on the shower tile and inside the windows/behind the curtains... if guests are constantly using their heater in winter, condensation will happen in the airstream, overtime causing mold build-up.. so just be aware.. Glamping done right. AutoCamp Yosemite is the perfect mix of outdoor adventure and modern comfort. The Airstreams are stylish, super clean, and surprisingly cozy even the beds are hotel-quality. The bathrooms are bigger than I expected and the toilet is regular size. The clubhouse is beautiful, with great coffee, fire pits, and a little shop for snacks or forgotten essentials. There's a little fish / frog pond which is entertaining for the kids if you bring a net. The clubhouse also has kids activities planned in the evenings and a few board games are available behind the counter. Bonus: the shuttle to the park makes exploring easy without the parking stress. Peaceful, Instagram-worthy, and a great way to experience Yosemite without roughing it. read more

Are you squeamish about camping, icky bugs and big ole BEARS lurking in the woods, but really want to pamper yourself, yet feel a little more of the outdoors than being holed up in some motel somewhere surrounded by a big parking lot? Then I say AutoCamp Yosemite is a place worth checking out! Here, you get to stay in a relatively ginormous classic "Airstream" RV trailer that has been thoughtfully outfitted with a giant bed, luxury linens and giant bath towels, full-sized bathroom with a big shower area, a real porcelain commode, running hot and cold water, and a small kitchen with nearly all the conveniences of home, but in a campground nestled in the trees not too far, but far enough from others, depending upon your particular campsite. In front of your Airstream is a fire pit with grill where you can cook your meals over the fire, or heat up some s'mores before heading off to bed! There are also ADA-friendly accommodations as well, and tent-style accommodations too, but the Airstreams are the most popular way to go. We've been here a couple of times now, and we absolutely loved it every time. Check-in is hotel-style where you go to the main lobby to do so, and it's not a long drive to Yosemite if that is your ultimate destination. PRO TIPS: - they have wagons that make it easier to carry your gear from your car to your RV campsite. - Bring food to cook over the grill, or bring your own stereo-powered stovetop - bring wood for the grill. - they supply bare basics in your airstream such as utensils, dinnerware and cooking oil, but bring your own spices, condiments, etc.. - bring the food in an ice chest, with tons of ice. The fridge was kinda small (well, for us!) LOL Autocamp is truly an outstanding place to set as your home base as you enjoy Yosemite and the beautiful Sierra Foothills. We love it here. A great stay, highly recommended. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Nice separation of trailers. The staff was very friendly. Loved the Happy Hour bar and the lobby area was large with several fireplaces. Do realize it's 1hr drive to/from Yosemite Valley. The 6 EV chargers are very convenient, even with a 2hr limit, mid-week it was easy to go away and return. I've been staying at AutoCamp since it first started in Santa Barbara in the 2010's .... I even hosted my recent birthday party at the one in Joshua Tree with a large group.... and based on multiple recent experiences, I recommend that you stay away from the AutoCamp of today. How do I even convey my experience at AutoCamp "Yosemite" (it's in Midpines... where there's nothing and it's over an hour to get to the park entrance.. but that doesn't sound as cool for marketing)? ... well, let's just say.... if you want to pay a thousand bucks to sleep in a tent listening to a wedding (that you aren't attending) playing really terrible music at maximum volume from the outdoor roof bar of the clubhouse (you know, high up and loud enough that it's SUPER loud EVERYWHERE on the grounds) until 10pm... then this is where you want to stay. you can't hear any crickets chirping or frogs ribbiting over the sound of SF venture capitalist MBA guys cash registers going ka-ching..... on your "camping trip" all they care about is expansion and revenue goals. there's a whole sales team working hard at double booking this place all year so you too can also have your trip ruined. don't pay any attention to the BS five star revenues from the Yelp review shills they likely bribed with free accommodations the staff can tell you that everyone getting super pissed about double booking with events is a common occurrence. maybe you'll get lucky when you stay and they won't ruin your trip with an event that shouldn't be there simultaneously with non event guests, but maybe not. the sales team is working diligently to make sure to ruin as many "campers" stays as possible :) also the bathrooms provided for adventure tents are like getting ready in a restaurant bathroom. do yourself a favor and stay at a place like under canvas if you want high end glamping, this company's top-down management does not care at all about their customers and is completely out of touch with what's happening "boots on the ground." they're more focused on their capital, board of directors and Time magazine photo shoot. the attitude of anyone higher up we've dealt with here has been atrocious and the pricing is just obscene for what you get (and you pay $25 for a single bundle of firewood after that). the regular folks who staff the bar and stuff are cool.. nice people.. who are also suffering under greedy mis-management. in time this company won't be the only game in town and hopefully can't be so abusive. p.s. they've been doing double booking on events for five years. this isn't a surprise, it's by design. it's greed. and any staff that's been here for any period of time is so used to people complaining about it that they just make you feel worse when you try to talk about it. i had one guy literally yell at me and basically tell me to go to my tent and F off as soon as i even brought it up...i didn't even get half way through my first sentence. he told me it was "their" "special night" and to deal with it. guess what? it was everyone else's "special night" too when they just dropped 4 figures to spend a weekend in a trailer/tent.... read more

Had such a unique stay and fun glamping experience at AutoCamp Yosemite. Lots of experiences and events throughout the day including happy hour, fresh hot dinner available for purchase 7-10 PM, complimentary breakfast coffee/tea, bingo night, yoga etc. The lobby has everything you need including frozen dinners, firewood and AutoCamp merchandise. - The WiFi is pretty good but there is no phone service at all so you need to enable WiFi calling to make calls - Temporary $150 hold on card at time of check in for duration of stay - Food nearby is limited, not many great options mostly restaurants in Mariposa. There's utensils, bowls, plates, wine glasses, mugs, a cast iron, and cooking utensils available. There's a conventional oven and grill outside as well. Highly recommend bringing your own groceries and firing up the grill. - Some reviews mentioned parking being an issue but it was not for us. Wagons available to transport luggage too. The airstream accommodates 2 people comfortably. Maybe 2 adults and kids since the sofa is a pull out but could get quite cramped especially if you're looking for a more glamorous experience. Other than that the classic airstream has amenities of any other modern day hotel if not more, down to room delivery for extra towels. The airstreams are a decent distance apart separated by a patio so you have some privacy. I'd totally stay in an airstream again! read more

Homemade marshmallows and graham crackers are such a nice touch. 10 Min from Mariposa, cute little town, 1 hour from Yosemite National Park and 10 minutes from Cable Rock Swimming hole. Don't have BBQs on property that I saw, so need your own grill. Suggest bringing your own camping chairs. Cute hammocks, walking path around the property, grass area to play games, very nice facilities and common areas. Love it! read more

This is my second time visiting an auto camp location. They're impeccable service and beautiful landscapes keep me coming back and I can't wait to try more of their locations. This location is about 20 to 30 minutes away from Yosemite. They offer tents, airstreams, and houses. We chose to glamp it up in one of the tents. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was equipped, both both a heater and a cooling system. The heater wad small but really kept the tent nice and warm during the chilly night. There was also a refrigerator and hot kettle plus other amenities that made it very comfortable. Our tent not have a bathroom, but there was an outhouse pretty close. They are heated and have a sink and plug if you need to dry your hair. The showers are inside the clubhouse and they are very comfortable and accommodating. I cannot stress enough the wonderful service and friendly atmosphere at the auto camps. This location is a little hilly so if you are bringing up your items, it can be a little challenging. I did see a couple get a ride so I'm sure if you have any issues they will assist you. read more

For the price, place is not worth it. I usually overlook a few things if it's not a big deal but when we checked in, instead of being able to relax after exploring the area all day I was on dishwashing duty. Cast iron pan was used and had a thick layer of oil on top. Saute pan also not washed. Knives, cutting board, tongs, etc. had leftover DRIED food residue or were greasy. Seeing all this, I did not trust the cleanliness of any of the dinnerware so I washed everything. 2 garbage bins underneath kitchen sink was not thrown out. When we mentioned this at the counter they gave us a free bag of firewood that we appreciated, but we were also told whoever was on housekeeping was on lunch break and they would come to get the trash but they never did. 2 stars cuz the family cabins and shared areas were cute, but they do not maintain cleanliness in the accommodations. All up until us checking out, no one ever came to pick up the garbage from the previous stay. read more

First time visiting Yosemite National Park and was interested in the whole "glamping" concept for a while and found Autocamp. This campground is about 45 minutes from the park itself. We stayed here for 2 nights with our dog and had such an amazing time. My partner was so impressed with the scenery and the modern touches from the lobby to our ADA Suite. Our suite was very clean and considering we are outdoors and all, I did not see anything off-putting luckily. We bought citronella candles beforehand and glad we did because once the sun goes down the buggies are out to play. Loved the convenience of having all amenities, cooking tools, flatware, etc. in our suite. We were close to the lobby area as well and were able to grab cocktails and such close by. Our dog got a blanket, water bowl, treat, and poop bags. It was such a relaxing moment to walk our dog around. We even rode the bikes around which were fun. Overall, a really fun and positive experience. It is pretty pricey and I recommend 2 nights being enough. This is something you don't often come around so I think the price does compensate for your efforts. I've looked into other locations and I think this is a location that would be worth the money. read more

For what we paid I definitely had high expectations but we were disappointed. TV in the airstream didn't work, lamps in the tent didn't work, heater in the tent didn't work. I will give them credit that they refunded our amenity fee when we brought up the TV but I do feel like for how much you spend per night everything should be in working order. The people in the glamping tent next to us also had a heater that didn't work which really sucked for a cold night. It was nice to come back to happy hour and pizza after a long day in a the park but some staff were cold and unwelcoming and that also impacted our stay (but also some really awesome staff too). Our airstream/tent was located way in the back of the property and luckily our family let us use the bathroom in the airstream because the closest bathrooms were definitely a trek away. The little store in the lobby was nice and the complimentary firewood was also a plus. Overall though,I think I preferred this location when it was a KOA and if you're looking for a tent cabin experience I think curry village in Yosemite Valley might actually be better and more (if you're looking for something more affordable) read more

Its a large area with many airstreams (almost giving an upscale trailer park vibe) but the main lobby is very serene overlooking a little pond, and also has an outdoor swimming pool. We booked the airstream + tent which was great space for us. I think this is more bang for your buck and you could double the space! We stayed 3 nights here with 4 people and a dog. Very dog friendly! One con is that you use wagons to carry your things from the car because cars are not allowed inside the airstream area and with a lot of things, it was tiresome. Wish they could have offered us a ride on their golf carts lol. The airstream itself is spacious, especially the bathroom surprisingly with a large standing shower. Water pressure and heat worked fine for us. There's a private room that just consists of your bed and common area with a sitting couch and cupboards/sink. There is AC/heat unit inside as well that works great and the wifi is pretty strong. The tent is actually more spacious than airstream, also with a sitting area (same couch as the airstream), bed is equipped with heated blankets for the night time and also a portable AC and heater which was perfect for us. The tent is also very structure so we never heard the wind at night. It also comes with a rechargeable lamp which we used for cooking at night too. When you have the airstream and tent, there are 2 mini fridges to use with the one in the tent being a little larger too. The con is when we needed to go to the restroom, we could key into the airstream so late at night/in the morning was a little bit of a struggle. Cooking: Autocamp provides a water heater, glassware, class cups, and utensils and basic grilling tools. There is also coffee and mini packets of salt/pepper (but bring your own). We had to buy wood for the grill and two packs was exactly enough for our stay. We cooked all our breakfast/dinners and packed our lunches for the hike and used up all the space in both areas. At night, we chatted by our campfire, played music through our speaker and even a little karoke. We felt far enough away from our neighbors that there were no noise complaints and we couldn't hear them either. Autocamp is about ~45 min away from Yosemite park entrance and it worked out well for us. I would definitely stay again! read more

For how much Autocamp cost, I expected more...glamping not at its finest. We booked an air stream and luxury tent and the experience was sub par. Arrived 345 to check in, knowing check in would be at 4pm. They told us our air stream and tent wasn't ready, and we waited until after 430 to get our "keys." Both nights, Friday and Saturday nights, they hosted weddings and the music was blasting until 10pm, which is very annoying considering the tents have no sound barrier. Feels like we were outside a Vegas club. This is absolutely ridiculous. Isn't camping supposed to be serene and quiet, enjoying nature? What if some guests want to wake up at 5am to get into Yosemite early? If you're staying here, better bring ear plugs! The drive to Yosemite is pretty fair... at least 1 hour to get to Curry Village sans traffic. Definitely not coming back and not recommending to any friends or families. read more

We had been visiting autocamp in different locations , and we believe the one in Yosemite would be the best. We reserved the preimum basecamp suite , which included airstream and tent. The airstream , as usual had outstanding decoration, including all accessories items for dinner/breakfast and bbq. The tent was so impressive as well, it even had AC ready before we checkedin . A group of 6 people had great time of BBQ dinner that was definitely worth the price we paid. The only thing that we felt uncomfortable was that , there were so may flies in the morning/afternoon that really bothered us. I would recommend this place for people who would love to visit Yosemite , which was only 40mins drive from there. read more

This was an amazing adventure! We stayed for two nights in a Vista Airstream. Upon checking in (which was super quick and easy) we were offered a golf cart ride to our accommodations to help carry our bags. Peter was great! We chatted about where we were from and he knew our little beach town! I should mention, the amazing service we received at check in - I celebrated my birthday this trip and they spoiled us with a complimentary s'mores kit. My boys (6 & 10) felt so special and so did I! The airstream was perfect for the 4 of us and the Vista labeling rang true - we faced a small canyon and felt pretty isolated. Yes, we could see and hear some neighbors but it was to be expected. We ate both nights from the Clubhouse kitchen. Very limited menu with some items being unavailable. We wish their menu had a bit more variety, but understand there is only so much you can do with a small staff. Everything we ate was really tasty!! The beer we had at happy hour was delicious as well. Other visitors appeared to enjoy the cocktails! Live music on a Tuesday was a special treat! They send a ton of information prior to your visit, so when you get there you feel really well prepared! Our only minor complaint was the pool. It needs a bit of attention. Every other aspect is so modern and well maintained. My son noticed the light cover falling off and the grout is all chipping. It just needs some care! The staff was attentive to the towels and as soon as the rack was empty more appeared! This is a very subjective rating, based on the transformative experience I underwent while at AutoCamp Yosemite...So many moments of clarity. Subjectivity aside, the AutoCamp glamping experience is top notch. The accessible cabin was equipped with all the amenities that a nice hotel has to offer. The clubhouse is cozy and grounds are clean, except for the murky water. To top it off, the staff are all so friendly. Thank you AutoCamp Yosemite for a life-changing moment. Events at the camp ground so loud, you can't sleep! we went there with our 4 year old and couldn't put him to sleep because the wedding was so loud until 10pm. we drove 6h to get there and couldn't feel like we got away from the city because we were in a club thanks to the wedding. not a place to have events like that. there are many events that autocamp books which. makes it harder for you to enjoy the place. morning yoga gets cancelled and other things are interrupted. generally not a relaxing nature based place. they are there to make money and you feel it. read more

We stayed at Autocamp for the first time this week. We stayed in a tent (the cheaper option). This was my first trip to Yosemite and a quick one. I don't mind driving but be mindful that this is about an hour drive to the park, if there isn't any traffic going into the park. I'll break down the good and the not so good: Good: staff is very welcoming and friendly. The tent we stayed in was very spacious, the bed was comfortable and the room was fairly clean. The bathrooms were clean enough. We were lucky enough to have a tent near the clubhouse so walking to the restroom was easy. I loved the free granola and coffee in the morning. The granola had clean ingredients and they had dairy free milk! The common area is lovely and overall a fun place to hang out. The food isn't great (more like cafe microwave food) but it was good enough to pass as dinner so we didn't need to pack or make a meal. Not so good: *disclaimer* this issue could probably be solved with earplugs, but we were woken up at about 6am because staff started working on the grounds. Since we were staying in a tent we could hear everything they were doing. We had been in the park the day before and were exhausted and wanted to sleep in but the golf carts were going by our tent every several minutes on the gravel road making it impossible to sleep. Additionally they were filming a commercial, which we didn't find out about until the night before our stay, and some space was off limits. When we first arrived we felt very unwelcome by the people involved in filming. We felt as though we were just in the way and needed to go elsewhere. This was a little disappointing because you pay a pretty penny for this place and we were going to be there less than 24hours. All in all I would recommend this place if you're looking for an alternative to camping! read more

It was my first time ever staying in an Airstream. Wow the experience has been amazing! The concept of Autocamp is like a more luxury experience of camping. This spot is located about 30-40 minutes from the main entrance gate to Yosemite. To check in, there is a main club house where you can check out games to play there for free and also to relax. We rented the classic airstream, which included pots, pans, fire pit, and a portable cooking stove that you can cook with. However, if you want to cook on the fire pit, you would have to buy the fire logs that they sell or you can bring your own. There is also heat and A/C in the Airstream. What I found the most surprising about this stay was how comfortable the bed was. Probably one of the best beds I've slept on in comparison to other hotels. We also saw cats roaming around the airstream. Two of them kept coming up to our Airstream but they were super friendly and adorable. I will be coming back to this spot in the future! read more

Capitalism at its Best! I want to start by saying that I truly appreciated the unique ambiance and the airstream experience at AutoCamp Yosemite. It was the very reason my husband, our friends, and I chose this location for our getaway. Unfortunately, what could have been a memorable and restorative trip ended up highlighting capitalism at its best--prioritizing profit over the guest experience. During our stay, AutoCamp Yosemite hosted a private wedding on site, complete with a DJ blasting music at high volumes, including explicit lyrics about sex, drugs, and foul language. While I understand and respect the 10:00 pm noise policy (and yes, the music stopped promptly at 10:01 pm), the disruption leading up to that time clashed entirely with the peaceful, family-friendly, nature-focused environment AutoCamp promotes. To make matters worse, when multiple guests complained to the front desk, the response we received was essentially, "This was expected." That type of dismissal made it clear that the comfort of paying guests had taken a back seat to the revenue brought in by hosting a private event. For us, this trip was meant to celebrate life after a friend's survival of a major heart attack and also my birthday. Instead of finding peace and connection with nature, we were met with noise, explicit lyrics, and the realization that guest experience simply wasn't the priority. AutoCamp Yosemite sells itself as an escape--an opportunity to unplug, unwind, and reconnect. Hosting events that undermine this promise not only impacts guest satisfaction but also risks the long-term reputation of the brand as a family-friendly destination. This is a really great place to stay if you're looking for a dog-friendly accommodation for Yosemite. We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights from Sun-Wed in October -- perfect warm weather for daily hikes and chilly evenings by the campfire. Yosemite National Park is about 1 hour away, and there aren't a ton of dog-friendly hikes, so it was a good amount of time for us to be able to check out everything that we could with a dog. They also have EV chargers (3 Tesla, 2 Regular). Very convenient and free. The sign says 2 hour limit but I think they only enforce it if someone mentions it. We never had an issue getting a spot for a few hours every night. If you wanted to really take it easy and not worry about having to cook, then you can totally live off of the prepared foods available at the clubhouse. They offer a pretty big menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (available 7am-10pm), plus grab-n-go items (available 24/7), and a refillable water station. We opted to bring our own food to cook for dinner. There is a microwave, mini-fridge (very small, I would not rely on it to store more than just a few drinks), cast iron pan, basic dishes/cutlery/utensils, and sponge/soap. I recommend bringing your own Green Mountain Firewood, charcoal (if you plan to grill), s'mores ingredients (cheaper than buying their pre-made kit), butane/cookware and cooler for food if you plan to cook. During happy hour (4-7pm daily), they have $6 beers and $7 wine -- non-happy hour is $1 more. They also have complimentary granola and milk every morning from 7-10am. We did try their pizzas on our last day before leaving! They were $15 each -- thin, personal sized pizzas that are pre-made (frozen) so they just toast it up for you. Tasted okay, we probably wouldn't order it again but it is convenient. Overall, the service was fantastic and the experience was super chill compared to regular camping! I have longed to stay in airstream for quite sometime. A little pricey but I get a corporate discount so it helps and definitely worth it. Grounds are so nice and for me as a self proclaimed glamper non- traditional camper, it was perfect. We arrived at night time so we had to use a flashlight en route to our airstream. They had carts that you can use to haul. There were lots of folks already settled, bbqing and having a good ole time. We stayed in one of the premiere ones so we were a bit isolated and on an incline, compared to the others that are closer to one another which would be perfect for families traveling together. Yes you have to buy the natural log. You have a little kitchen and bbq pit outside. Hang out in the main outside area where lots of people congregate. We had almond milk, regular milk with granola in the morning with coffee available at the clubhouse. I personally can stay awhile at the clubhouse - such a nice cozy cabin like vibe. They have a mini store (but you can also bring your stuff like s'mores) and we ordered pizza at the bar like resto place. The merch they have are quite cute too. Couldn't help myself with a new mug and parks project sweatshirt. I'd love to try the other locations too. read more

I've always wanted to stay at an autocamp because of the aesthetics and cleanliness. I did do my research tho and saw that the airstreams are literally next to each other. Not really any privacy, even if you upgrade. However we brought our walkie talkies and the kids were playing with it, that we ended up being on the same channel as them. So careful what you say if using your walkies on the property. We only stayed for 3 nights. We ended up going to Yosemite both days. So we barely stayed on property. I felt bad for my husband who drove. It was definitely tiring for him. There's a town about 10min drive away. I initially asked for an airstream but through miscommunication, I tried asking if they had ada available. I didn't realize the ADA weren't airstreams. ada is the suites. And because I got classic, the classic ada suite is located literally next to the main building (check in lobby). It was nice Because we didn't have to walk far from the parking lot but also meh because it's the busiest area, no privacy. Pros: -Very clean -Convenient location to Yosemite (it was about 90 minutes to the park with traffic in the late morning) -Free bundle of firewood if you're a Hilton member -Cool lobby area with porch swings and live music Cons: -Uncomfortable futon -Breakfast - for over $400 a night, and a Hilton chain, I thought there would be a breakfast buffet. At least YOGURT with the granola would have been nice, but it's just dry granola. All other breakfast can be bought at the kiosk. We bought breakfast burritos and a French toast to go. The burritos had absolutely no seasoning or flavor, the French toast was rock hard. -The bar offers very small very sugary cocktails in plastic cups. -Very expensive for what you're getting. read more
