Brought my car here because of a front bumper damage. There was barely a scratch on the front bumper but they wanted to replace the whole thing. When receiving my car back, the windows didnt roll down at all, i had service lights on, my reverse camera wasnt working, and more. talked to the manager and he sasid that i had brougt it in the shop like that and that they wouldnt cover the fixes...i told them it definitely was not like that when i dropepd the car off. so i had them send it to bmw and bmw has time stamps of codes so they confirmed that this shop messed my car up. they ended up fixing it at no cost because they tried to scam me. I was shocked by how AutoNation has treated me. What a terrible experience! I brought my car there for an estimate and connected them with the insurance company. I called them many times to inquire and make an appointment, left several voicemails, and they never got back to me. When I tried one last time I told them that this was my last attempt and if they didn't get back to me I was going to take my business elsewhere, and whoever I was speaking with just laughed at me on the phone, and hung up on me! I brought in my 2020 highlander after scraping and denting the left drivers side of my SUV in a parking garage in downtown Seattle.. I was upset and thankfully after bringing my car to auto nation collision everything was fixed in a timely manner by My repair person who went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my repair. I also had Cecilia Cline as my estimator and she made sure to keep in contact with me whenever repairs were being finished, when my car would be ready to pick up and everything in between. Finally the receptionist Melissa Keb was on the ball with everything, my rental car was ready to go upon bringing in my SUV and she even walked out with me to show me where my rental was. Took my vehicle in to them at the beginning of March. They took pictures of the damage and said they would reach out to the insurance company. They had the claim number and all they needed. Middle of April, nothing heard from them. Tried to reach Aaron, got no response even after leaving voice mail. Finally reached the office and got in touch with Aaron. He promised get back to me. Here is how my experience went: 12/9/21 - Dropped car off at BMW of Bellevue 12/27/21 - Received email from Allstate stating Cecelia at AutoNation would pick up the car in a day or two (WHY SO LONG?) 1/6/22 - Car picked up from BMW of Bellevue by AutoNation Collision 1/6/22 - Left message for Cecelia to inquire on repair timing, never received a return call 1/6/22 - Emailed Cecelia asking for an idea of how long repairs would take. No response 1/8/22 - Rental car coverage exhausted 1/11/22 - Follow up email to Cecelia about timing of completion. No response 1/15/22 - AutoNation bought emblem (stock item) from BMW of Bellevue. Confirmed information with BMW of Bellevue on 8/26/22 1/21/22 - Returned rental to Enterprise, paid $578.59 out of pocket due to length of repair 1/21/22 - Picked up car from AutoNation Collision. Took 6 weeks to replace sunroof and paint trunk. Asked about emblem and was told by Cecelia it was backordered and I would be notified when it arrived (WAIT, WHAT? THEY GOT IT ON THE 15TH, LITTLE DID I KNOW) 6/29/22 - Left message for Cecelia, never received a return call 8/4/22 - Left message with receptionist, never received a return call 8/23/22 - Called AutoNation and couldn't get ahold of Cecelia. Left a message for Brandon. Cecelia called me back and said the part had just arrived at the dealership and I could come in Thursday or Friday to have my repair finalized 8/26/22 - Went to AutoNation to get emblem installed. Had to wait while they attempted to locate it and then drove to BMW of Bellevue to get a new one. Finally got correct emblem installed after being there an hour. Gave timeline to General Manager and he confirmed they received the "backordered" emblem back in January, and was only offered an apology. 9 months to completely repair a broken sunroof and repaint the trunk. Don't ever take your car here. The estimator flat out lied to my face. read more

Auto Rebuild staff is amazing. I brought my car here to get an estimate and I thought I would brake the bank considering the type of car; bit, I'm amaze that it's affordable. So I decided to let them do the work and it's been amazing. Tripp and Mike have been very helpfull - they take the worries out of the small stuff. My car is still being repaired, but I receive updates on the process and so far no major issues except what the car is there to be. They accept all collisions/ damages insurance pay or sell oay, which I am. I recommend this business 100%. Ask for Tripp frankly they are all good people. read more

Had a car accident and my car was brought to them. In they said they needed to get it evaluated by the dealership so they had it towed there. It was not really clear if the car was totaled or not. So I paid to have it taken to another collision expert and they contacted the air bag specialist known in the area. He recognized the car right away and said he already evaluated it a month earlier and the car was totaled in his opinion. This is the same guy that Autonation had look at it but neglected to tell us and even made us go to the dealership fir further evaluation. It took 6 weeks from the accident to get to the bottom of it. Autonation. Did a terrible job at explaining what the technician found out on day 2. They could have saved us a ton of suffering, wondering, painfully waiting a verdict. read more

Just had them fix my car due to collision damage. First scheduled initial inspection in several weeks after phone call, then another several weeks to drop off the car, later two months to get the car fixed. I wouldn't complain too much about the time. However, when I picked up my car, I saw there were two dents on the car and they also admitted those were caused by rock chips from the repair instead of me. Instead of fixing them, they simply provided a touch up pen. That's so ridiculous. I think for rock chips normally they would charge customers hundreds to repair, just because of their fault, they wouldn't fix them and instead provided a touch up pen. I had conversations with them, and they wouldn't be able to do anything further. Considering my had been kept there for over 2 months, I wouldn't have more delay due to such ridiculous circumstances and I had to accept what they provided. read more

I took my C300 here due to this facility being listed as a "Certified MBUSA" repair center. I hope MBUSA is watching these reviews because if what I just received (for the second time, after taking it back the first time) is an example of the quality that Autonation puts out, that certification would be revoked. I took it in because someone backed in to my bumper and it had to be replaced/re-painted. I've posted an example of the "quality" work that Autonation takes pride in - after taking it back and picking it up the second time, I asked the repair specialist if they were happy with the work they put out and he couldn't even look me in the eye when he told me they painted it 3 times and that their painter was satisfied. I guess Autonation has a different standard. If I were you, I would avoid this place at all costs. You'll never be satisfied with what they put out. For the record, I'll be sending MBUSA photos of the work that was done as well, because I'm not sure they would want their name associated with the product being put out. "The best or nothing" is the Mercedes-Benz motto, but definitely doesn't apply here. read more

No service advisor took me to my car to go over the repair. They did keep me in the loop daily, Chris was great. My complaint was the car wash. I do not like silicon and my wheels looked terrible, my car looked dirty. This would not stop me from going back. Overall great experience, and a fantastic staff. I bought my Jeep Wrangler from Auto Nation, so when I got rear ended and contacted their insurance company, when I saw Auto Nation on their approved list, I thought great, that's where I will go. Boy was I wrong. My spare tire and tow hitch took most of the impact and their estimator did not even want to replace the tailgate the tire is attached to (that was dented in), instead he wanted to give me a "life time warranty on Bondo". He missed the fact that the rear bumper was damaged, and muffler altogether. If you are hit and want your car restored to its original condition, stay far away from this company, they are unapologetic shills for the insurance companies they represent. read more

Just a generally rough experience from start to finish. I took my new BMW in for a door ding, and they said it would take a week or less. They gave me several dates and missed all of them by multiple days, and they were oddly unapologetic about missing their own deadlines. When I picked up my car and took it home, I noticed some dull spots on my paint. At first, I thought the car had been aggressively buffed, but it was apparently overspray? They also scratched the hell out of my wooden inlays on the interior, too. Not sure how or why. I had to take the car back and have them fix the damage they left. Again, no apology. And then they overcharged me by over $400. Aside from being super late with the repairs, they remedied all their mistakes, but man, they made a lot of them. I can't in good conscience recommend this place after my experience here. The work they did on my door wasn't particularly impressive either. It's not noticeable anymore, but if you looked closely and compared with the other door, it's not exactly the same. read more

My experience with Bellevue Auto rebuild was great. First week of moving to Woodinville from LA in September=2013 We were in an accident in Bothell, an uninsured loser speeding rammed my 2012 Range Rover. My whole driver side front to back, complete damaged. My insurance company Allstate referred me to them. I was sure it was going to be totaled. It took 4 months to repair. I got it back a few days before christmas. My beloved Nigel(Range Rover) looked like it just left the dealer Brand Spanking new. Due to the length of time it took. They covered some of the cost of the Rental Car since Allstate only covered 45 days. I was beside myself when i went to the rebuild to see it in pieces, i had tears LOL, but the work they did was outstanding. I am a happy man read more

This used to be a great place. But its taken a down hill spiral the last 5 years. From rude receptionist to incompetent work. I will never again take my Mercedes here for any body work. The 2nd to last time I took my car here for repairs, they damaged my car. Thank goodness I caught it. They tried to fight me on it, but thankfully the photos proved that the damage was not there when I dropped my car off. My wife just brought her car in recently and its the same shotty work and rudeness that met us. This will be the last time we do business with them. If you are crazy enough to bring your car here, get ready for a long wait for the work to get completed, rudeness by staff members and take lots of photos of your car in case they damage it. Also, our insurance adjuster told us they overcharge them on small stuff and in his experience, has never seen these exorbitant prices for minor things from other shops. He told us it's a sign of a badly run company, which was proven to be true. Too late for us, but hopefully not for the rest of you. read more

I find myself working in Seattle and it is beautiful, seriously beautiful!! As a dedicated Yelp enthusiast I immediately began the process of finding my favorite burger joint, my favorite pizza joint, and so on and so forth and I am noticing that as much as I love the Seattle area my experience with the customer service up here has been lacking (I am hoping it will improve). So, six days after arriving in Seattle someone backs into my new car (my beautiful Silver Honda Accord), it doesn't even have license plates yet. Now I have to find a body shop, USAA (they are awesome, different review) sends me to AutoNation Collision Center in Bellevue. With my experience (so far) with poor customer service I'm thinking body shop and poor customer service, well this is going to suck. But then I met Mariah and Gordan and all I can say is WOW!!! Everyone, and I do mean everyone at AutoNation Collision Center was awesome, completly blew me away, but Mariah and Gordan are amazing. Mariah was the first person I encountered there and she is a ray of sunshine. She greets me, smiling, happy, joyful and she does the first estimate on the car and sets up an appointment for me to come back for the repairs. Gordan takes the car the day I bring it in, happy, kind, and fun to work with. He tells me that they will get it taken care of quickly, he sends me an e-mail update with the status a few days later and calls me as soon as it is ready. Thank you AutoNation Collision Center for doing such a great job and thank you Mariah and Gordan for being so terrific!!!!! Oh, the quality of the repair was fabulous!!! I was so blown away by how amazing everyone was that the repair became secondary and it was perfect. I could not have asked for a better experience from the two amazing ladies at the front desk, to the technicians who did the repair, to Super Mariah and Amazing Gordan!!!! You guys are awesome!!! After receiving an estimate for repair I emailed the estimator to schedule the repair. No response. Called and left voice-mail....TWICE.....no response.i am now sitting in the waiting area, along with 2 other customers, waiting for an estimator to come out of their "meeting". In my Pharmacy, no matter what meeting I am in, the customer gets taken car of immediately. Not good service by any stretch of the imagination. read more

Do you see the broken lower grill of the Mercedes? (Hint - it's the big broken thing in the red circle). If you do see it in this small photo, you managed to see a damage that the professional estimator did not observe in a close up examination. When I called, thinking that there is an error in the report. I was told by the estimator that it might be "found out" after they will start the repairs and remove the bumper. Can you trust a repair quality from a place that can't notice a big broken thing hanging out right in plane view? Can you dispute a poor repair quality when you depend on the estimator good will to add to the report all the real damages that should have been there in first place? If you want to choose another collision center after such an estimation, you can't! Since the insurance company will claim that the damage was caused after the estimation. And will say it is the other collision center fault. I was lucky enough to have this picture that proved that the damage existed prior to the estimation. So I could took my car to another collision center. It still cost me a week of delay, phone calls and bureaucracy while the insurance company had to send its own appraiser to check the huge gap between the 2 estimations but it was worth it. Based on this experience, I will not let AutoNation Collision Center anywhere near my car. I had informed the Bellevue auto rebuild my review and the reason. They promised to improve, so check more recent scores if they did. read more

45 days to repair a scratch I took my car to Bellevue Auto Rebuild to repair a scratch (https://i.imgur.com/8zs7aD1.png). Dropped off in the middle of November, was only able to pick it up on the first week of January. The original estimate was about a week, but then the "additional damage" was suddenly found - it turns out they broke the driver's door lock cylinder while disassembling the door and had to order the replacement from Germany. It took an additional week to review the damage with the insurance and another month for the part to be ordered from Germany. No apology whatsoever like this situation is normal. Go somewhere else unless you like waiting more than a month for a simple repair while they break other parts of your car and fix them. read more

They took my car for repair and then it just spent 1,5 weeks somewhere in their parking lot... Actual work took only 2 days, but I had to live without a car for almost 2 weeks because they refused to give me a rental... Last but not least, for the price they did less work than was promised -- repaired only one dent but "forgot" about paint chips. read more

Setting a new standard of excellence? Try setting a new standard of incompetence. I have met numerous people who found them to be incapable of proper repairs, including myself. Be prepared to have to return your car several times. They also dented my fender while it was in, and added numerous chips to other parts of the car that weren't there before. I finally gave up and fixed the rest myself. I'm sure they were glad to get rid of me. Am I picky? Yes. If you aren't, maybe these guys are good enough for you. Sadly, I've seen worse. But if you're picky too, stay far far away. They do have a pretty good paint shop, as far as QUALITY goes. But they aren't worth the trouble otherwise. A good shop is one run by people who love cars. These guys don't. PROS: Very high quality paint. CONS: Your car may leave with more damage than it went in with. read more

The rear corner of my bumper was scraped by a hit and run. I was referred here without first checking their reviews. My mistake. Picking up my car for the first time (yes there were multiple times), I noticed the paint color was way off so they agreed to repaint. Picking up my car the second time after repaint, paint match was great but I noticed two gashes in the bumper that was not there before. Also a stain on a bumper molding. The associate Jackson tried to at first tell me they were already there. Full of sh*t. Check the pictures you took of my car when I dropped it off. Ended up leaving my car AGAIN for them to fix. Picking up my car for a third time, I notice there was a paint chip which they clear coated over and a bump in the paint in another area. Looks like there may have been some debris on the bumper when they painted. Took pictures of the flaws. Pointed out the flaws to a Bellevue auto rebuild associate that was there and I left with my car. Told myself I'm going to live with it as they are doing more damage each time. Wrote them an email explaining my experience and included pictures of the latest damage they caused and gave them feedback on how they should improve their quality assurance practices and how poorly their craftsmanship was. Received a call from one of the owners, Darrell, and explained everything to him again. He asked me to bring my car back one more time and assured the car would be fixed this time. I told him after 3 times, I have lost confidence in their abilities. I've had to take time off of work to drop off the car and go pick it up each time (or try to pick up). Told him I would think about it but have decided not to go back. Taking this up with my insurance company. If they can't do anything, which I suspect they won't, I'll just live with it. My experience at Bellevue Auto Rebuild couldn't have been better. The day after Halloween 2009 I found that my parked car (a black, 2006 Mercedes c230) had been hit by someone trying to parallel park. They left a note and I was referred to Bellevue Auto Rebuild. Like the review below by Peter O, I was referred to Tripp, in particular, by my dealership. Tripp Matthes and was straight up awesome. He was concise, fair and responsive. He managed to repair and repaint both damaged panels (without replacing them). They look like new. The color matched perfectly. I had two other issues repaired while my car was there: one was a batch of very deep scratches on the rocker panel. I thought the panel was done for. Tripp was able to repair and reuse the panel for a VERY fair price. Looks beautiful. The other were some significant paint chips on the lip of my front bumper, and the metal grate on the AMG front end was bent backward into the bumper (I hit a short 2x4 that was bouncing on the freeway). He called 4 days after I had asked for a quote and told me they took care of it on the house. Wow. The cherry on top? My car was beautifully detailed, inside and out. It was like I picked up a brand new car. They even gave me the black paint they mixed so I could touch up and future trouble spots or nicks. Bellevue Auto Rebuild (and Tripp Matthes in particular) provided an amazing experience. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family members. read more

Moses was the gentleman that reviewed it and confirmed that there was most likely no internal damage and no need to get insurance company involved. He, however, offered to buff out the scratches. Because there is no other reason to use these guys other than a random referral and that seems to be the source of their business. It sure isnt recommendations for the quality of their service or work. They cant do a decent estimate, they tell people lies and half truths about when and how long and how much it will cost, and then find ways to say you have no option but to use them since they have torn everything down already. It is a scam pure and simple that Mercedes helps keep alive. Not sure who is to blame Mercedes or this operation. I guess it is both. Total rip off joint. Repairs were average but acceptable. I'm understanding of completion time changes that took place, not a big deal. The staff seemed friendly. My only real complaint is poor/slow communication. The techs apparently have entertainer aspirations. Somehow they felt compelled to entertain me with the following: -Moved the rear view mirror in an abnormal position -Moved the passenger headrest up to the top -Moved the passenger seat way forward and angled up -Turned off the automatic dome light -Turned off the auto headlights -Turned off the auto wipers -Changed default radio settings -Turned on the passenger seat heater -Left a compartment in back seat open -Moved trunk items all around -Left a big gob of car polish right on the drivers floor mat. Not even a mile was put on my car for the repairs I had done so they didn't need to adjust for a drive around. Didn't really have any rapport with them so I can't possibly imagine why they'd feel spiteful, and I might ordinarily feel irritated if it weren't so immature, petty and comical. If I could give Autonation Collision Center ZERO stars, I would. For background, I've used this repair facility several times over the past 20 years, when it used to be Bellevue Auto Rebuild (before the AutoNation takeover). I've used them because they are one of four Mercedes Benz certified repair facilities in the Seattle area. I've also used them once two years ago (post AutoNation takeover) to do some repair work on my Mercedes, and they did a good job. But they have really gone downhill. I took my Mercedes there in late September 2021, to get an estimate for a relatively small job (replacing driver's side mirror assembly and fix door damage). Made an appointment, got the estimate, and asked the estimator to schedule the repair ASAP. He said they might have some issues getting parts (i.e., the mirror assembly) due to supply chain issues. Several days later (late September), he called and said that it might take a month (end of October) before they could get the parts to do the repair. Ok, so I wait two weeks, and then I called and sent email to the estimator asking for an update. No response. Another two weeks go by, and I send another email to the estimator. Again, no response. Then, in frustration, I took my car to another certified Mercedes repair shop in Lynwood. GREAT customer service and super responsive. They were able to get the parts in about a week and now my car is being repaired. I wasted a whole month trying to work with Autonation Bellevue. I won't be doing that again. Ever. read more

This is my second time working with AutoNation Collision center. Initially my insurance recommended them and I went ahead agreeing not knowing what I was getting myself into. LET ME TELL YOU- This mother f***** car LOOKS BETTER than it did when I got it BRAND NEW from the dealership. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? Quite honestly I don't see it. I worked with AutoNation in 2017 and again in 2019, both times they were incredibly professional, courteous and accommodating. From the friendly ladies at the front desk to the estimators (Jason is tolerant af because I def rescheduled 43209489203842 -millennial with loans yall=minimal $$$), to the folks actually doing the repairs and working within the shop (BEYOND FRIENDLY). I've recommended them to a few friends in the area because, in my opinion, they exemplify what a shop should ultimately be- honest. Everyone here is hard working and actually cares. He will go above and beyond to make sure your experience and more importantly your car renovation is complete and pristine. I was asked to pay upfront for parts and given an appointment for the following week to get my car fixed. When I took my car in they informed me that the parts hadn't arrived and asked me to take my car back. I followed up multiple times over the course of next couple of days and heard varying stories from "the parts haven't arrived" to "the parts are here but we don't have space in our shop". Eventually, after 4 days of following they just informed me that they will issue me a refund and were oddly unapologetic about how this was a total waste of time for me. Definitely do not recommend them. It felt like they reel in customers initially during the estimation stage and then do not follow through with any of the commitments. I am just hoping that I don't have to follow up as many times for processing my refund. read more
