I special-ordered an Escape Plug-in with the general manager. Put down a $1,000 deposit as requested. Was told explicitly that the deposit was fully refundable if I canceled my order. About six or eight weeks later I find out that Ford is not going to be building any of these cars for at least six more months and so I emailed the manager and told him to cancel my order. He said no problem, he'd do it right away and get my deposit returned "ASAP". Weeks go by, and no deposit is returned. I email the manager several more times and while he used to return my emails right away, now he never replies. He doesn't reply to phone calls to his cell number. I use their website's chat feature to discuss my problem and the customer service rep says they'll get right on it. But don't. Bottom line: the dealership never, ever replied in any way or took any action to get my $1,000 deposit returned. I finally contacted my credit card company and filed a complaint and got them to reverse the charges. Terrible, terrible way to treat a customer. I will never consider buying a car from these people again and certainly recommend that others beware. read more

Close but no cigar. Took a long time to schedule an appointment (which was par for the course compared to the other Ford dealers). Came in for an oil change and factory recall on the wiring on my truck. Jay and John were the service advisors I worked with. Felt like they both did great jobs and would have likely have gone back again if everything else had worked out. Dropped off my truck, Jay quickly checked me in and got me a Lyft to work nearby. Jay called me back when the car was ready and sorted out getting me a Lyft back to pick up the car. Got there quickly, got checked out quickly with help from John S. So far so good. Left feeling like they had their stuff together and that I would likely go back. About 2 blocks away, the check engine light went off. So had to turn back around and spend about half an hour between driving back and waiting for the truck to get checked out. When doing a check on the air filter it seems they left the mass air flow sensor loose. After leaving, felt like if they messed up the easy stuff, did they mess up the hard stuff as well? Probably won't be going back for service or recall work. read more

Don't go here for service your vehicle even if it is a warranty issue. They don't care that you pay 55k for the car that hase issue from the factory, and wanna keep your car in the shop without giving a similar vehicle to use during the time of repair. Been here for a warranty repair and a recall and they first tried to give me a small sedan ( I brought in a 2019 Ford Explorer Platinum) and after dealing and being frustrated for about two hours they arrange a small crossover that even the kids carseats barely fit in that I accepted with the condition that they will change it the next morning. Been there the next morning to just found out that they don't have other car to change it. The thing is that I need to go with my kids to the appointments and they physically not fitting in the car that they gave me. I ended up taking my car back that was staying ther and they did nothing on it. Don't spend the time trying to arrange a repair at this dealer. You will ended up being treated rude until you get to the higher manager that will try to hepl you but in the reality will do nothing. read more

Truly a hassle-free, no pressure car buying experience. Jim Slayton was terrific. They were true to the Auto Nation model, i.e., the price online was the price I got (no convenience fee, cleaning tax or whatever else places do these days). Very fair valuation on my trade-in. NO pressure to purchase additional warranties, etc., which I am sure they are encouraged to sell. These guys are absolutely NOT the stereotypical used car salesperson. Refreshing! Very Dissatisfied with the customer experience. Recently I purchased a Ford Mustang from AutoNation Ford Bellevue. Before that I had leased the vehicle from you guys for 2 years. I have been a loyal customer for 2+ years. Experience - On purchasing the vehicle I was given a temporary registration and the sales guys and manager at Ford told me they will reach out to me when my permanent registration arrives. My temporary registration expires on 25th September 2019. On 22nd September I drove to the AutoNation store and asked for my license plate. Nobody had any clue about its whereabouts. Then I received a call from Autonation and was told to come back on Tuesday 9/24 to collect the license plate. On Tuesday when I left work and reached Autonation in the evening I was told that they couldn't find it. The manager promised that they will have the license plate ready by Wednesday 9/25 and they will send a person to fix it. Its 9/25 today and I haven't received any calls. Now my temp registration has expired and I cant drive my vehicle. So tomorrow I'll have to book an Uber to goto office. I'll have to spend money to reach to my office because of the broken process and horrible customer service. read more

The staff was aggressive and lied over and over. Once I decided to walk away, then the staff and the manager started harassing me and using a lot of aggressive language and sales tactics. I told them no deal and they called me every day for months even after I told them I wasn't interested. Well, I should have looked much closer, because the new car I received (paying the same as the old one) did not have the front parking sensor that my old one did. We had an overall good experience with the buying process; the sales department was easy to work with, so we did end up buying our truck from Autonation Ford Bellevue on December 27th, 2021. The problem ensued after the purchase. We traded in our old truck which had a payoff owed. I signed everything that day and left the vehicle and assumed it would follow proper channels, but it did not. 4 weeks after trading it in, I found out from my old lender that the old truck was never paid off and my payment was late. I started calling Bellevue Ford, I left 3 messages the first week, no one called me back. I started calling again last week, left 2 more messages and finally received a call back from Tina in Finance, she said she would have me an answer next day and low and behold 5 days later still nothing. It is now February 7th, 2022 and my truck is still not paid off. I've spoken to a manager twice and am being told they will get back to me. My biggest disappointment is the lack of follow through. Ironically, prior to buying the truck, they were calling us daily to get the sale made, but when a problem arises after they take our money, I can't get a call back to save my life! How we are treated once they won our business tells us everything we need to know about how they actually value their customers. I am still on the hook to my old lender to pay the payment for a truck that I do not have anymore and my credit will be negatively affected if I don't. I am very disappointed in my experience with Autonation Ford Bellevue. Be aware when trading in a vehicle here, it's been 6 weeks and I am still waiting on a call back! read more

We drove up to Bellevue all the way from Vancouver Washington and purchased a 2008 Toyota Tundra. Drove it home and the steering wheel started vibrating so took it to Les Schwab to have it checked out to find out that we were driving on unsafe rims. One rim was completely stuck on and all 4 need to be replaced. We contacted Tim, the sales person who talked to his boss Craig. Craig contacted Les Schwab. We called and called and finally got a hold of Craig who would not help us at all. They don't care about the safety of their customers, they only care about money. No integrity. I would take your business elsewhere if I were you! Update 11/4/19: WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! We ended up filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General. Josh, the General manager said they respond to every complaint, but as you can see from the photo I posted, they do not, because I just got this email from the BBB saying they tried contacting AutoNation multiple times with no response and are now closing the case as "NO RESPONSE". If you like being lied to and ignored feel free to come to this dealership, otherwise steer clear of this company. Dishonest, NO integrity and all they care about is cutting corners to save a few bucks instead of making things right and the safety of their customers is NOT a priority! Then, they make you feel like they are doing you a favor by partially fixing the problem that shouldn't have needed to be fixed in the first place. Terrible customer service here. I was trying to buy a f350 here, had pre arranged financing done, just needed a purchase order. This dealership almost refused to give that to me. Agreed for an entire day talking to different people all people saying "oh yeah we will get that right over" and nothing. Had a huge chunk to put down cash, and the rest arranged my own financing. Later to find out they were trying to sell it to someone else after only because they would let them run their credit again at the dealership. When I called to talk with a manager he basically stated "well if you let me run your credit and let us match your bank" I then told him no, I have my own financing I just need the purchase order I do not want my credit ran again, he then stated "well we won't sell to anyone or let anyone leave that won't let us run there credit first" which is totally unprofessional and unnecessary. If someone comes in with pre arranged financing dealers have no right to try to make you consent to a credit check by the USA PATRIOT Act, which is a federal anti-terrorism law. read more

OK, here is the deal. We bought a beautiful little BMW Z3 from these guys. The body was in very good shape for a car that old. Very low miles, decent price. I've had it six months, driven it very little, washed it a few times myself but for the first time took it to a commercial HAND car wash on our trip to California. They use very hot water. Guess what? About 30 door dings showed up, scratches, etc. The front air intake is all scratched and almost paint less. It is going to cost thousands to get the little beauty back. It is like they used some type of temporary finish to take me to the cleaners. They suck. Although I still love the car. I'll get it fixed even if it doesn't make economic sense. I could write a book. Literally. Let me try to sum it up. I bought a new Ford Focus 2012 as soon as the model hit the floor three years ago. Luckily, my dad had worked at Ford for years, so I didn't need to rely on the sales person who couldn't even lay out my options. Case in point, he didn't know how to install the cargo kit in my new hatchback. I should have ran far, far away... but I didn't. I'm sitting here at the dealership for my 4th voluntary recall in 3 years. I drive 45 minutes to get out here and they are consistently disorganized and unprofessional. For example, while I was here I wanted to get some body work done. They have a completely separate body shop, so I had to place a second call to make that appointment. When I showed up, they didn't even know where the body shop person was for my appointment. I have yet to see whether she shows up. I have tried to give this car and this dealership the benefit of the doubt, but despite my family's history with Ford, I would never buy a Ford from this place again. 9/30/15 Update - I called the number provided in the reply and it was just the general call line. I asked to be directed to the GM and got his voicemail. I left a message, but still haven't heard anything back over a week later. This stays consistent with my experiences here. read more

So because the keys now days all have computer chips, I'm gonna have to give FOB $150 to make me another spare key. AND Since they close at 6:00, I wasn't able to get there in time after work. Wow, Ford of Bellevue....what can I say. We bought a used car here on a Thursday trading in a car. When signing the paperwork we asked to have another owner added to the title. Both of us were there. They made a big deal about how difficult it was to do that so we said forget it. They said to go to DOL when we receive the title to have a legal owner added....which would be at additional cost and waste of time at a licensing office. The next day the salesman started calling needing a photocopy of a driver's license of the person they would not add on the title. They put a deadline on when they needed it and left a condescending message about how easy it is to take a picture and send it. They needed this, they say, because I was on the title of the car traded in. I was working and didn't get to it right away...I was not really concerned about bending over backwards for their convenience when they would not add me as a legal owner...but when they want something they want it now. I thought about it overnight and decided not to do business with Ford of Bellevue. At 10 am the next day, now day 3, we sent the salesman a text message saying we were bringing the car back and to have the car we traded in ready to be picked up at 1 p.m. We were within the 3 day 150 mile guarantee and could bring the car back for any reason. I received a call from the salesman saying they figured out how to get me on the title.....only after we told them we wanted to cancel the deal. I told him no, we were undoing the deal. He told me we were on day 4 and could not bring it back. I helped him count the days that only added up to 3. He lied and said that they had already started work on the car we traded in and we would be billed for that work. I told him that was his problem and that they should not have touched that car and we were not paying a thing. He said he needed to talk to the manager. I received a call from the sales manager trying to keep our business. He apologized for how things went and made an offer. I said no, I was not doing business with them. The sales manager then told me that the car we traded in was on a lift and they would not be able to get it down this day. He said that he didn't know what they had taken apart and it would not be available to pick up. I asked him if he was suggesting we bring this car we bought back the next day, which would be day 4 and not able to return. He said yes. I told him that they were notified at 10 am to have the car ready by 1 and that was plenty of time. I also told him that this reaffirmed my decision not to do business with them. The car was ready within an hour. The sales manager lied. I asked the salesman for a list of things they did to the car he said we would be billed for....never got anything. It appears that they didn't do anything to the car and was just lying, I have never dealt with more dishonest people.....I would not recommend doing business with these people and this business. My experience in dealing with 3 separate people here was not good. read more

Called the service department to get a quote to replace the gasket and filter on my transmission and have it flushed. They quoted me $219.99 which I thought was pretty reasonable and on par with other places. I set up my appointment and when I get there they tell me is is going to be almost $500 for the gasket and filter than another $230 to have the transmission flushed! They said alldata says it takes 2.1 hours to change the gasket on the transmission and put 6 quarts in. I am wondering if they are including an hour lunch break for that as well, because I can do it myself in less than 45 minutes. What they wanted to charge me $500 for I payed less than $70 at O'Reilly's. Needless to say this place does anything they can to get you there and then thinks they can screw you after you get there. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere! Edit: I decided to purchase the motorcraft transmission fluid which as a little more expensive, but it is the exact stuff the dealership uses. It ended up being around $110 for everything from O'Reilly's. It took me an hour and 15 minutes with clean-up. 20 minutes of that was me hand pumping the transmission fluid in because Ford had a genius design the transmission and you can only access it from under the vehicle and the fill port is next to the exhaust. Anyway it could easily be done in less than an hour next time especially if I had a better pump. Long story short the service department is a bunch of crooks and they lie to you to get you to come in and change the price when you arrive! No I will not call the general manager, and why don't you get rid of your copy and paste response. It is fitting that you have that response for everyone. read more

Just because I drive a $60k vehicle doesn't mean I'll pay for every repair you recommend. I dropped off vehicle (Ford 350 EB) for a "check engine" light. $125 for this diagnostic is expensive but that is the cost of doing business. What your staff gave me was a $900 list of "urgent" fluid flushes and changes (coolant, oil, brake, transmission and differential) that were needed. I then took my vehicle to another authorized Ford service station. I asked for an oil change and for them to assess all fluids and their need for change. They reported all clean fluids and no need for any flush or fluid change. When questioned about this and your recommendations they said that Ford factory specifications would not call for any changes other than the oil change. Stop trying to rip-off the casual car owner by drumming up unneeded repairs. You should be ashamed. read more

I attempted to buy a used car from this dealership about a year ago. On my test drive (without the sales person), I realized that the A/C blew cold on one side and not on the other. I was ready to buy and just wanted them to fix the A/C before buying. They first denied there was anything wrong with it. We go back out and I show them. They refused to fix it. I did not understand why the dealership would not be willing to fix something like that, especially a "namebrand" one. I was even willing to pay full price for the car, as long as they would fix the A/C. They again refused. Getting a bit frustrated I state that I cannot understand why they would be so unwilling to work with a customer wanting to buy a car. I was told that I needed to leave. As I was leaving I heard my sales person cuss at me. WOW. Professional. I went back to get his name and wrote the manager, but they cared more about making the sale than making things right. This dealership is really unorganized. I sold my car to them, no trade just a straight sell. They gave me a decent amount for the car so I was pleased. I had to sell the car for as a condition for a mortgage and I made it very clear to them. They said they would overnight the check to the bank. 10 days later I called to find out where the check was. No one could answer the question for 36 hours. Finally it turns out that they never entered the sale into their system and no check was cut. This might cost me my house because of their oversight and cost me $3k from my mortgage earnest money. I'm pissed off. read more

Terrible customer service, bordering on fraud. They pulled my credit when I had never been there. The credit reporting agency said they verified it was me that applied. Suspecting fraud I called. When I called they gave me all the personal info on the person who actually applied including their SSN. When I demanded they destroy my info and correct it with the credit bureau they blew up at me. No one who answers the phone can do anything for you. They should have their business license taken away. read more

We were funded and paid for a car in December - money was in AutoNations account but they would not release the car to us without the payment of extra funds... even though we had a bill of sale. NOW - because our funding was approved ONCE and AutonNation reneged on the deal it's been a night mare with our funding agent to get this loan cancelled and a new loan approved. Right now it looks like we are trying to take two loans out for a vehicle... I have a long story over a few months of considering buying a Ford truck through these guys but I'll just try and keep to the point. Good: 1. They had a truck or two I was interested. Bad: 1. The salesman did not listen to my requirements and kept on insisting I should get a newer Raptor even though I let him know that was way out of my price range. 2. The salesman was trying to be "cocky funny" but his demeanor was rude and obnoxious. His smiles were not sincere and he always seemed too relaxed in the atmosphere (think of kicking his feet up on this desk and leaning back in his chair). 3. After deciding against the Raptor, and wanting to go with a truck under 30K, we sat down to discuss what seemed to be the only option (a 2013 F-150 FTX). In retrospect, I think this 2013 "new" truck was a goal of the salesman to finally sell and get off the lot. The only reason the truck was sub 30K was due to the 4000 discount IF you opt for the Ford financing. This was misleading and I already told the salesman I had my own bank to go through. During this discussion, there was a junior salesman who I HOPE did not heed the example and instead, used the case as a "what not to do." 4. When I finally told the salesman I was not interested in their financing, his eyes glossed over and he looked at me with contempt (not the first time). I did not appreciate his attitude and once I told him later I decided on a Toyota (through text messaging), he stopped responding and never thanked me for my time. 5. Overall, this was just a terrible experience and they are the epitome of "Care Salesman." On another note, I was educated by this salesman on what Ford Certified means: Ford Certified means it can still have a cracked windshield and visible damage which the salesman said is acceptable because it's a truck. Yeah, the Raptor I was interested in was on the lot with a clear safety issue and damaged bumper. How the hell is that even a certified vehicle? Don't go here. I feel sorry for the new salesman that showed the guy I worked with because he was at least a nice guy. read more

I leased a new car there last spring after my car was totaled when it was parked on the street. Salesman was friendly and helpful (a refreshing change from the sharks at Lexus of Bellevue). The actual purchase process took longer than they told me originally, which was annoying because I ended up being late for work. I also realized later that they changed the purchase price from what we had agreed on when I ended up deciding to lease instead of buy, but that's on me for not being as careful in going over the paperwork. Have taken the car back a few times for oil changes and such, and the service department is okay, but nothing spectacular. My old car was an Infiniti and their service department was, understandably, a lot nicer. I was really amused when I was signing papers and was telling the lady helping me at that point that the only other car I had test driven was a Lexus IS. She told me, with a straight face, how much better the Ford Fiesta I was getting drove. Um, I chose this car because I didn't want to spend as much at the time, NOT because it drove better than a Lexus! Puh-leez. Overall, my experience was okay, but nothing spectacular. Nothing about this dealership really wows me. I understand I'm spoiled from the Infiniti dealership, but I still feel like it could be better than it is. Also, the car I'm leasing is okay, but I'm looking forward to turning it back in and getting something less practical and more fun, which will probably not be from Ford. read more

I scheduled an oil change last week over the internet. Came here once before and received great service and everything was done in a timely manner. I was also given air fresheners, couple extra coupons to brown bear for car wash. The last time they did an oil change, it was done within an hour. Prior to showing up, I was given 2 courtesy phone calls to remind me of my service. Great, thanks for that! When I showed up at 9:50 am to drop off my car for the 10 am appointment, I was informed by Josh Benjamin, the service adviser that it will be ready in 2-3 hours and asked if I needed a shuttle to somewhere. 2-3 hours, I asked what the heck they were doing that required that much time!? Josh said they need to take the vehicle to an offsite location in Factoria to get it serviced. Could they not tell me this earlier?!!? When making the appointment on the website, it would have been nice if there was a pop up that would give notice it'll take extra time, or when the two phone calls from their receptionist could have given the same information. As the customer, it is NOT my job to do research on when you have moved your service building and how much additional time you need. Josh had the nerve to ask me if I had asked how long an oil change service will take when I received my phone call! No I did not ask how long it will take to do an oil change! They had drove my car off, when I decided I didn't want to continue, I asked for my car to be returned and to cancel my appointment. They said okay and to wait in the waiting room. I went to the waiting room and 10 minutes later another service adviser hands over a set of keys to me and says the car is parked outside. Right away I can see that was not the keys to my car and told her you have the wrong keys. She has a shocked look on her face and walks away. Until now I still have not been apologized to by any service adviser. The only person who said "I'm sorry about that" was the sales person who saw me walk around and asked how my day was! That is some bad service this dealership practices! I'm very surprised how much has changed from the last time I was here! It's a night and day difference. I wait another 20 minutes then walked into the service adviser room and asked where is my car and Josh says it is on the way. Another 10 minutes pass and my car finally shows up. At this point it is 11:05 am. I wasted over an hour and nothing was done to my car, I was never apologized to, not even a discount on future appointments or free car wash was given to compensate how much time was wasted waiting there!!!! From arriving to drop off the car all the way to leaving, not once during that time frame did I see any of these service advisers smile. They all had grumpy faces and looked like they hated their life working there. I don't understand why the General Manger or owner don't hire some new people or retrain this staff. I took my car into Evergreen Ford in Issaquah today. Boy was it a huge difference. From rolling into the service center, immediately I was greeted by someone with a smile, car was serviced and returned to me including an update to my vehicle system all within an hour time! I hope you read this and don't make the same mistake by going to Bellevue Ford!! read more
