Stripped oil plug That the dealership did

Always taken my F-250 to get serviced there, not only have I caught them in multiple lies about work they preformed, they have also damaged stuff on the truck then refused to fix it. This dealership is absolutely terrible don't take your vehicle here find somewhere to take it. Most recently they damaged my drain plug then said "it's a wearable item" the problem is they also damaged the threads on the oil pan the manager looked me in my eyes and said "that's not my problem truck has a lot of millage on it. Truck has 70k on it.

    Thank you Mossy Nissan!

Wow - beware of this place, folks. I wish we had looked at these Yelp reviews before wasting my daughter's day off work. What a complete joke. After taking her trade info and luring her in over the phone, the salesman kept her waiting for hours while he claimed he was trying to work out a deal. C'mon, if you can't trade, that's fine, but it shouldn't take half the day to figure that out. Anyway, after reading these reviews about the horrible service after the sale, I think we dodged a bullet by not making this purchase. Whew! Here's a pic of the sweet Nissan my daughter bought at Mossy Nissan just down the road. They made a very good trade in just a couple of hours. Obviously, we should've read Yelp and gone there first.

Never had an issue when bringing my vehicle here. Always see Daniel D. or David C. when I'm in service and they are great each time.

Fortunately, the representative at Ford was able to locate one of my original wiper blades, so I only needed to purchase one new blade and a replacement rubber for the second one. The Honda employee who assisted me was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, making sure all my needs were taken care of. Then, on March 9, 2026, I returned to Honda because Ford was unable to help me remove a stuck valve cap on my tire. Honda checked it right away and advised that they could fix the issue without any problem, estimating it would take about one to one and a half hours. Their team worked quickly and efficiently, and I was back on the road much sooner than expected. As an added bonus, they even washed my car for free, which I truly appreciated. Thank you, Honda, for the wonderful customer service. Please keep up the excellent work! Special shout‑out to Thuan Vo for the outstanding assistance!

I really wanted this purchase to work out. The buying experience started off well, and my…read moresalesperson was responsive and helpful initially. Unfortunately, everything that happened after I drove the vehicle home changed my opinion of Katy Honda. I purchased a 2018 Honda Civic Si on July 17. That same evening I discovered an oil leak and a driver-side low-beam issue. I notified the dealership immediately and returned the car the following morning. During that drive, multiple warning lights and system messages came on. Katy Honda kept the vehicle for nearly two weeks. During that time, I repeatedly asked what had actually been diagnosed, what repairs were being performed and for copies of the repair order and inspection documentation. I was told I would receive those records. I didn't. When I finally picked the car up, the low beam still wasn't fixed. Then on August 8, substantially the same warning-light condition returned. At that point I took the vehicle to Gillman Honda for an independent Honda diagnostic. Gillman documented permanent P0172 and found that the PCM had been modified, was missing diagnostic information and had a serial number that did not match Honda's data list. They recommended replacing and reprogramming the PCM. Only after I returned to Katy Honda with that independent diagnosis did I finally receive the July 31 repair order I had repeatedly requested. Katy Honda's own document showed they had already retrieved P0172, reset it and documented an "aftermarket performance intake, exhaust and possible tune." That information was never disclosed to me before I bought the vehicle. I also later received communications from the prior owner indicating that the rear-main oil leak and recurring warning-light condition had been disclosed during the trade-in process. I'm not claiming every employee at Katy Honda knew that information, but I believe it is fair to expect a dealership to know what it is acquiring, properly inspect what it is selling, and disclose material information it discovers. I have tried repeatedly to resolve this directly with Katy Honda management. The issue remains unresolved, and I have now filed formal complaints with the appropriate agencies. I don't expect a used car to be perfect. I do expect transparency, documentation and accountability. That is where this experience fell apart for me.

Land Rover West Houston - Suggestion to allow the dealership shop for a loan to avoid multiple inquiries

I recently purchased a 2026 Range Rover Sport from Land Rover West Houston, and I can honestly say…read morethis was one of the best dealership experiences I've ever had. What's funny is that I never intended to buy a Land Rover. I initially reached out about a BMW M4 they had listed online. I had been following that particular M4 on Cars.com and CarGurus for over a month, and since I was in Houston for the World Cup and traveling from Dallas, I thought it would be convenient to stop by and finally see it in person. Andres responded to my inquiry quickly, scheduled me in to see the M4 in person and and had everything ready when I arrived. The M4 was waiting for me in their covered garage and was presented in pristine condition. After taking it for a test drive, I realized that while it was a beautiful car, it just wasn't the right fit for me. At that point, Daniel, the Sales Manager, came by to introduce himself, and I also had a brief conversation with Jimmy their Finance Manager as he was walking by; we talked about the World Cup and the tournament results. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable to speak with. During our conversation, I mentioned to Andres that I had always been curious about Land Rover and had liked the Velar ever since it was first released. Without hesitation, he encouraged me to explore the lineup and suggested I sit in some of the vehicles in the showroom while he grabbed keys for a Velar. The moment I sat in the Range Rover Sport, I was hooked. Over the next several hours, Andres patiently walked me through the Land Rover lineup. I test drove a Velar, a Range Rover Sport Plug-in Hybrid, a Range Rover Sport P400, and even a Defender. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered every question I had, and never once made me feel pressured. His professionalism and product knowledge made the entire experience enjoyable and educational. When we got to the numbers, we weren't initially aligned. After several rounds of discussion, I decided it was getting late and headed back toward Dallas. What happened next really impressed me. About ten minutes after I left, Daniel and Jimmy called me and presented financing terms that made sense and worked for both sides. I turned around, went back to the dealership, completed the paperwork, and drove home in my brand-new 2026 Range Rover Sport. I want to sincerely thank Andres, Daniel, and Jimmy for their professionalism, persistence, and outstanding customer service. They took someone who walked into the dealership intending to buy a BMW and turned him into a first-time Land Rover owner. I never would have imagined that I would leave that day in a completely different vehicle, from a brand I had never owned before. If you're looking for a dealership that values relationships, professionalism, and customer experience, I highly recommend Land Rover West Houston. This team earned my business, and more importantly, they earned my trust.

We actually loved him and thought we had an excellent rapport. We were friendly, didn't attempt to haggle. Test drove and had a great experience. I really liked the car, and am expecting insurance money within 72 hours. My husband reached out to the sales guy and explained the money would be here within days, asked if we could leave a cashiers check of 2-3k in good faith money, to hold the car for us. The manager called my husband and said absolutely not. Mind you, we were not asking to take the vehicle with us, the cashiers check was only to hold it until the full payment could be made. The manager refused and said if I wanted the car I had to come in and finance it that day. We didn't realize this was an AutoNation (as it's not advertised on their website or pre owned listings online) We have a friend that sells for AutoNation (Michael Russo) so we decided to ask if he could get the car transferred to his dealership. He said no problem. We explained waiting 72 hrs for the insurance money, again he said it's no problem at all and that we could even take the car home before the money arrived. He sent us the forms to fill out for the transfer. When the manager saw the paperwork, he lied to our friend, said the car was sold and couldn't transfer it. My husband knew this wasn't true, as the salesman would have reached out to let us know it sold, and text the salesman (Joseph) and said we had the money and wanted to come pick up the car. Joseph said someone was test driving the car right then and he wasn't sure. (Hard to test drive a car that's already been sold, right?) At this point the sales guy is lying, the manager is lying. All we wanted to do was buy a car. The manager is lying and costing his sales team money. Extremely crooked business practices. We were literally trying to pay cash for a $23k car. It's absolutely not sold. It's been on their lot for 15 days. Bad form, Chad Tatum (the manager). We are very serious buyers and though it's not a Land Rover, it was still $23k that AutoNation missed out on because you didn't want to work with us in ANY capacity. My only question is why?? If you are looking for a LandRover, buy it somewhere else because Chad is shady for no reason. Extremely disheartening experience. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. It's very unfortunate that AutoNation would allow this behavior from any employee, much less a manager. Won't sell a customer a car, won't allow anyone else to either. That car is sitting on their lot, not moving, with a buyer ready and waiting. Terrible business. I challenge AutoNation to request the proof of sale from Chad on the 2017 RX, because he has none.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at BMW of West Houston and would strongly caution…read moreconsumers to thoroughly document every aspect of their transaction. My concerns are: 1. Communication and follow-through from dealership leadership, including General Manager Charles Cannon, were significantly lacking. Calls and requests for updates were not responded to in a timely manner, if at all. 2. The dealership completed the sales process and executed documentation on the vehicle purchase, only to later attempt to unwind or materially alter the transaction while attributing the issue to the lender. From my perspective, the dealership's internal handling errors became mine, the customer's burden after the deal had already been represented as complete. 3. Pricing transparency was a recurring concern. Advertised pricing and actual deal structure did not consistently align, and responsibility was frequently attributed to third parties or external circumstances during negotiations. (super ugliness) 4. Vehicles that had already been sold or otherwise unavailable continued appearing online during the process, which created confusion regarding actual inventory availability. 5. The sales and finance process felt unnecessarily high-pressure. After extensive effort to finalize the purchase, the dealership later attempted to revisit material components of the transaction rather than standing behind the deal structure originally presented. 6. Specific personnel involved in my transaction included salesperson Marvin Barahona-Sanchez and finance representative Shady Yauhari Souky. My experience with the handling and communication throughout the process was extremely frustrating and contributed significantly to the overall negative experience. Additionally, the vehicle itself did not appear fully retail-ready at the time of sale and reportedly required substantial detailing preparation before delivery. (2 hours) Consumers considering this dealership should carefully review all documentation, financing terms, pricing details, and delivery conditions before completing a transaction.

Suddenly, my vehicle stalled at the traffic light (Westheimer + Richmond). I found out the battery failed after just 36 months. Many people came to assist and jump-start my car, but my Outback wouldn't start. Because the "My Subaru" subscription wanted to charge me around $130.00 to tow my car to West Houston Subaru, which is 7 miles away. I used my AAA roadside assistance service instead, which is free. West Houston Service department wants to charge me $560.95 for replacing the battery and cleaning the terminals. The service advisor said that because the battery has 84 months warranty. When I asked how many months the warranty of the battery on my Outback was when I bought that brand new car? He said the warranty had expired in July 2026 after 36 months. I reminded him that the car was purchased on August 14th, 2023, which was just 36 months and 4 days when the battery failed. After I complained, he gave a discount, which came down to $440.95 for replacing a regular battery. The greediness of this dealership service is excessive. This is my last time buying any Subaru or obtaining a service at this dealership. My advice is: do not buy any Subaru. Do not subscribe to the "My Subaru" service, which is worthless, and do not bring your car to this service department. Bring your car to any experienced auto service instead.

Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!
