Absolute worst dealership I've dealt with. Was looking to get my grandmother in a new vehicle. She has a 2018 edge and really liked it but ford quit making the edge with 2024. I looked for low mileage ford edges in the area and found one here. I inquired about it and was called 20 minutes later by Robert "Bobby" Brooks. Set an appointment for the next day at 2 pm and he wasn't there. I had to deal with someone else. No big deal. Well we get to talking and this guy says they don't have the car but for some reason they have the keys. And that it was a lease vehicle that they got back and due to it being a lease vehicle it has to go back to ford, they can NOT sell it. He kept asking how we felt about the escape. We didn't want one, we're very clear about it to him and I was clear to that to BOBBY over the phone the day before. We left. The next day Bobby calls and wants to schedule me to come in and test drive the edge. The one they either don't have or can't sell. I told him what had happened and that I had already been there for OUR scheduled appointment and that he's just pulling the bait and switch. Ofcourse they deny it all. And bad part is they still, right now have that edge for sale in their page. The one they either don't have or can't sell. They advertise for sale. purchased a 2020 Dodge Journey from this place and less than 90 days later I'm told it needs a new $9K engine that ISNT covered by the shady warranty they had me add on. Told them about the issue and the salesman Drae told me the only option was to purchase a BRAND NEW car from them and use it as a trade in. Like WHAT?! WHY?! Stayed there all day just to be yelled at the end of the 7 hour day with NO resolution. To top it off, the service guy even alluded to maybe the car had an issue at trade in and I got 'stuck' with it. Even asked for the CARFAX AND MAINTENANCE RECORDS and was told 'I don't think we have them anymore' again xxx?! So now I'm sitting on a piece of junk and out of my $2K deposit. Went to this place 3 times for my work truck ambient temperature readings being messed up causing my AC to go out and my seat shifting to the right(not concerned about the seat, but while I'm there, might as well fix it). First time I went, the issue was fixed for about 3 months. 2nd time, the issue was fixed for about 2 months. The third time, they had it for a week and gave it back to me with no issues fixed, the check engine light on, seat still messed up and back two tires low on pressure. On top of all of that, they went through my equipment in the back seat. I could tell because they opened a case and didn't put things back how I had left it. I purchased my truck in September. It is now February and I still don't have my plates. I have been in constant contact with Kathy Owen who has told me TWICE that she has Fed Ex'd my plates. Yet Fed Ex has not received the package either time. She keeps trying to blame it on Fed Ex. Maybe once I could believe that, but not twice. I have never worked with someone so rude, nor have I ever had a problem getting my plates when I purchased a vehicle. They are doing nothing to try to fix this situation. Five months!!! We took our car on dec 27, 2023 for a routine 80k mile maintenance, my car was fine before that, never had issues. A week after the routine maintenance the Engine fault service now light comes on, we took it in a week later to get this looked at because that's when they had an apt, they said they needed to fix the low fuel pressure sensor, we agreed to the charge, about $700, we pick it up on a Friday night and Saturday morning the Engine fault service now light goes on again. We got an email saying that we take great care of our car and if we wanted to change it for a new model. Like what? Is this your sales tactic?! My car was perfectly fine before I took it for a routine maintenance, I do not want to buy a car from you. I just need you to fix it. Update: I've been calling our service rep for 4 days now with no response. I have also called Ford and they keep telling me to call my service rep. Finally the lady on the front desk told me I can bring it in for diagnostics for $130. I just paid a diagnostics and paid to get things fixed, it was't fixed so Why would I have to pay again?!. read more

Wow, I never felt so dismissed there. I arrived to my first service appointment 10 minutes early and they were all just looking down at their kiosk. When they take me to my designated service advisor, he was rude from start. You would think when filling out why you were coming in they would be prep of what I needed. I was wrong. So I explained why I was there. Without even looking at my bronco, automatically said "so you are leaving it for the week." I was only there because my shock boot has become loose. If that takes a week to do, what kind of service center are you running. Asked about the ProCal install as it was also the other item I requested... He said "What is that?" Well that pretty much told me that this is not a place to get my service done. I am reviewing our paperwork & noticed we were charged for an additional warranty. The day we went in, we said MULTIPLE times we DID NOT want any warranties only GAP. During the signing process, I asked MO what the charges were i was seeing, and he told me GAP. Over the next few days, I had an uneasy feeling. We left with 2 pieces of paper , a receipt for our down payment, and something to keep in the car until the plates came in. Nothing else. In fact, it took 3 days of me calling to finally receive our finance contract. Looking it over is when I saw the charge again and decided to Google it. It was a warranty..not just any warranty but a $5,300+ warranty. Came in to get it corrected, thinking it was just an honest mistake. Only to realize this was a blatant deception. Mo knew he put the warranty in there. He then proceeded to tell me, "I promise I told you..it's ok if you don't remember..look you signed.." I REMEMBER SAYING NO WARRANTY 3+ times. Come to find out, he worked the financing to include GAP and warranty and keep the payment reasonable. Sneaky sneaky sneaky. IF he wasn't trying to be deceptive, why didn't he say.."Great news yall..I got the payment low, and you can have a warranty too!" Not once. Not once did he say we were getting a warranty. Our salesman was Darrell and he was AMAZING!!! We went to look at a pre-owned truck. He had the truck ready at the front for us, and he was waiting outside for us as well! He was not pushy at all, had a great attitude and was very respectful. After the test drive he had water waiting for us at his desk and had our best interest in mind and was a great listener. Nan was our finance person and he was also very easy to work with and a great listener as well. We didn't feel pressured at all during this process and the truck was priced very fairly. When I called they said they would contact the previous owner to try and get it. After hearing nothing back I called and they said I had to buy my own charger $175.00. I was going to buy a $75,000 new truck from them in a year but it will not be from them now. When you hear about sleezy car salesmen, this is who they are talking about. Except the salesman was actually nice, it was the loan officer and everyone since who were shady. They sold me a warranty for a car that can not be serviced in Houston or surrounding areas. There isn't a physical AutoNation that will service the Volkswagen Tiguan that I bought from them. A year later and I have an oil leak and the only way I can get it serviced is through their mobile service that is booked out a week and a half. They also did not make it easy to find all of this out. I've had to take time from my job to call every AutoNation dealer so that they could tell me they won't work on my Volkswagen. I asked them where I would get it serviced when I bought it at the store in Katy and they told me I could take it there. Now they say they only service vehicles that they are going to sell at that location. This is the worst deal I've ever got on a car. read more

May I on the HWy had to leave the car open. Salesman said we could use our bank for financing, and it would be a quick in and out of the dealership, got approved and drove 5 hours to finalize purchase of vehicle. Had to remain at dealership for over 5 hours. No one would talk to us, requested to speak to finance, requested to speak to manger, nothing for two hours. Salesman, Trevor kept walking away and coming back with nothing. After walking around to find the finance person myself, I was told that I could not use my bank because I live out of state and had to use the inside financing only. I have now received over 10 letters in the mail from all the places they applied for a loan for me for.. none which were in the state I live in or the dealership is in, so that was a lie. While signing paperwork at the dealership that guy reported that the dealership doesn't work with my bank, I wanted to use due to a court battle where they had to go to court for money owed since Autonation did not provide proof of registration in time. So, everyone was telling a different story. I was also told we had to use their financing so the car would register in 30 days and I could refinance it then. I have not received a tag and it has been almost 60 days. I have called multiple times and was told the paperwork was done wrong TWICE and that someone would call. No calls. The first time I called I was sent back to Trevor who sent me a photo of someone else's license and registration and said "closest i have to yours but not yours" since I have all of that person's personal information, I will be contacting them to let them know how Autonation treated their personal information by sending it in a text to another car buyer. After reporting that to another salesman is the only way, my call was forwarded to the titling department. Kathy in titling gets 5 stars for being kind and trying to help me. Everyone else gets negative stars for being extremely unhelpful and lairs. I recommend Grapevine Ford, esp. if buying from out of state as we had zero issues with them in April of this year and were able to use our own financing and receive our plates on time, to be able to register our car with our work and the toll tag. read more

They did not call me back while the ladies told me they would call me back before. They told me the repair time would be 2 weeks. When two weeks I wanted to pick up my car, they told me unfortunately the parts broken. They deleted. After that, they deleted another two time. One said they needed to charge the batteries; one said they needed to test and wash my car. When I pick up my car, I did not feel my car had been washed. In their final bill, it showed they drove my car 1381 miles during this repair process. Those are my terrible experiences I will never bring my car to this shop!!! read more

Initially I posted a 5 star review, the sales people were quick and although there were bumps I was generally satisfied. The financing manager Moe, mistook the VIN I was purchasing for another and I had to go through the paperwork twice. He then failed to collect a down payment on the vehicle which resulted in me needing to jump through the necessary hoops the next day to do so. Ford was holding a promotion to receive a free charger with the purchase of my truck at the time. No one at the dealership was even aware of this and it took me a month of phone calls before they sent me the necessary information get the charger from Ford. My license plates arrived after my paper plates expired and it took several calls to the dealership to get this resolved. The real reason for me posting this review is the federal tax credit. My tax return was denied because the IRS was never informed that my the VIN of the vehicle I purchased was sold as an EV. The sales manager, Eugene Bryant, won't even return my calls on this subject and I'm going to be forced to take legal action to get this remedied. Be careful with these people. Their inability and disinterest in helping after the point of sale is alarming. read more

Signed papers for both. Called 30 days later was was told Ford had stopped making vans ... no idea when would resume but my order was good. Waited 2 more months - called salesman and was told that they had started making again, then stopped after a few weeks, and they had forgotten to order my truck. Customer service and integrity do not exist at this Ford Dealership. We purchased here in 2020 when employees actually cared about their customer service and went out of their way to help. This is no longer the case here. We were returned our vehicle for the second time having the same issues and given no rental after FORD had our vehicle for almost 2 weeks. And our vehicle was damaged while in their possession. We have text messages to prove the damage was done at the Ford dealership while in the service department possession. We tried speaking to the service manager, who was unwilling to take responsibility. Even when we had the text messages, proving what happened to our vehicle was done while In their possession My car is now sitting at Ford and still hasn't been fixed or looked at. We are now going on two weeks with no car, no rental and nobody giving us proper updates. I have called several times to get help but the Ford Phone selections do not work, and I have constantly been hung up on or transferred. Very frustrating! I will never buy FORD again because of this unacceptable experience we have gone through these past months. I am happy to speak to someone if they actually care to listen and take time to make things right. But I will not hold my breath for that. And I am even happier provide the text messages with the names of employees who giving this dealership and the service department a bad name. read more

Don is the worst manager ever. He is unprofessional and rather hang up on people than to deal with a frustrated customer. Henry should not be a manager and should be demoted. Henry's response for my issues was "it sounds like you need a new service advisor" instead of attempting to fix anything and taking accountability. He would promise call backs and never deliver until I started calling his manager. Pablo, the tech, is the worst. He screws up and delays everything. Come here for one thing and I promise your truck will leave with more issues. They wanted 7k+ to fix my truck... with used parts while my truck was there for over 3 months. Made an appointment yesterday to bring my Ford Mach E for service after getting an error message. I showed up this morning at the appointed time and was told by the service agent that they only have one mechanic able to work on that car and he was out and it might be several weeks before they could get to me. I asked why they let me make the appointment in the first place and was given a lame response. I bet they have plenty of people willing to sell you an electric car at the inflated prices they charge. Not sure how Ford Motor Company rates their dealers but for them to have only one person qualified to work on EV's is bush league. Something you might expect from Joe's Grease and Go in Pudnut USA. I waited for an hour and half and rep was still not back from lunch, I went to talk to someone and was told he could take the car back for service. Here are the details of the itemized invoice just so you know to STAY AWAY. Issue: AC Blower Motor Control Module/Resistor Failure Time of labor: 1.5 hours Cost of Labor: $548.88 Cost of Material: $372.12 Misc Charges: $59.99 Tax: $35.65 Just to be clear. That is $274.44/hr if you're being generous. That is already insane, but it gets better. The material charge for the Blow Motor Control Module is more than 5 TIMES the price for any retail option to buy that part and that's being generous. The highest retail option I can find is $60. To make matters worse, they didn't provide any pictures of the failed part or the replacement part. If you made it this far, RUN. read more

Adding to that, I just was advised that it will take another 1hr to complete the service. What a joke! No respect for customers time. Once I signed on the vehicle (5/3), this dealership was done communicating with me. They had to keep the vehicle a week for some modifications they required before handing it over to me. I had to follow up with them, because they did not contact me, to see if it was even ready. A week later (5/9) I picked it up. It had a half a tank gas and sticker residue on the windows. Clearly it hadn't even been washed. It only had 1 key fab, but I was told they were waiting for the second. Upon leaving I took it immediately to a car wash and when drying it off I noticed a scratch and some pealing in the "ceramic" tint that was on the car. This was a 2024 Mustang. Ceramic or not, the tint should not have been peeling. I immediately called my salesperson and asked about the warranty on the tint and was told he would get back to me. Not waiting for a response, I put everything in an email and sent it for documentation (Still 5/9). Another week goes by and no response from the dealership. Emailed a manager who responded with 2 other managers names and that he had forwarded my concerns (5/16). Waited through the weekend and halfway into the following week. Still nothing from anyone at the dealership. Called and let messages for all 3 managers (5/21). Emailed the original manager that did respond along with one of the other managers and received no response from either of them (5/23). At this point, do I just cut my losses, pick up my plates, and never go back to this dealership again? This was the 4th vehicle I had purchased from them, and it will definitely be the last. read more

I wish I had looked at the reviews prior to purchasing a car here. This has been an absolute nightmare to say the least. I purchased an Audi Q5 from this location from Michael Munevar on 9/13. I contacted Michael Munevar on 9/16 (the following Monday) explaining the issues on my vehicle, the speedometer is BROKEN and the side lane assist doesn't work, asking to let me know when I could come in to get it fixed. No response. I took matters into my own hands and made an appointment with the autonation service department later that day and was told the soonest appointment was on Friday. So I contacted them within the 5 day window return period (screenshots attached below) I bring my car in to the appointment Friday to be told they can't and won't fix it. I was furious and went directly to Michael Munevar and he, and I quote said "Sweetheart, why didn't you bring this to me first? I will get everything taken care of for you. Don't worry about it. Bring it in Tuesday, Sept 17 and we will put you in a rental and everything will be taken care of for you." So I brought my car back to him on Tuesday and was given a rental. Since then, Michael waited TWO WEEKS to bring my car to Audi all while lying to me about the updates I requested. Saying things like "I'll call Audi and ask them when they expect it to be finished." Even so far as to make up a story and say that "Audi said it would be done Wednesday or Thursday" Michael also asked me to not text him because he 'doesn't receive texts at work' but this is obviously because he didn't want anything in writing. The last conversation I had with Michael I asked him to give me Audi's phone number so I can speak with them directly about my vehicle, this is how I found out Michael did not bring my car until two weeks later. I requested Michael's boss call me, Michael then said he would have his boss call me. I never received a call. So I called Monday, today, to speak with Ryan the manager. Who then said "No. we're not paying for the repair, and you cannot return your car it's been 30 days." Even though, I contacted them initially within the 5 day period. They are liars and scammers. I doubt when this is posted Michael still has a job there as I've emailed corporate, customer relations, the CEO, and an attorney. I had my car for a total of 4 days, they had it for 26 of those 30 days. Update: after fighting tooth and nail, they've agreed to take my car back. read more

Purchased my vehicle there brand new, after a week, on our way to a road trip, our GPS that came with the vehicle can't find roads and highways that have already existed for over 6 years, then I found out that someone from within the dealership swapped the new and updated SD card for the navigation to a very old navigation maps. Then another instance, I took my car for regular maintenance, took the car home drove it for weeks until I had a flat tire, pulled over to change tires, low and behold they stole the jack that came with the vehicle, im the only one who drives the car and I've never looked under the trunk to see if the jack and spare are all there, so there's no way someone in my household took out the jack and left it in the garage, i looked just incase, none! Then there's the recommended maintenance's checks, before dropping it off, I placed white,markers that will fall off when a wrench or any tool is used to loosen and tighten the nuts, after the service, went to my friends garage and checked all the points they were supposed to check, guess what?? The white markers were untouched, and yes, including the engine oil that I checked, before dropping off was dark and murky, after the service, it's supposed to be new oil but it's the same dark and murky used oil. Don't get taken for a ride in this dealership. Crooks and thieves and scammers are everywhere in this Autonation Ford Katy!! read more

Joshua Redd at auto-nation ford quoted me $926 to fix my front fender when someone hit my car, my appointment was a month out, and I had called a week before to verify my service time with a woman at the front. (Josh did not answer or return my calls) Showed up 15 minutes before my service time (around 8:30am), walked into his office and I asked if we were ready. He asked me if I'd gotten an email he sent about an updated quote, I said no because he didn't respond to my emails or calls that whole week. Showed him I had no new emails from him and he pretended to look at his computer screen like he'd sent something. Then said the new quote would be $1700... I waited a month and he was trying to play me like I was dumb. I was livid because I was missing work at this point and my grandpa and drove to the Auto Nation early to make sure he could give me a ride to make it to work. I called Fry Road Collision and was told to bring my car in right then, quoted me at $960, had my car fixed within 2 weeks and they detailed my car inside and out.
