A mechanic shop that you can trust. Aurora Auto Pros is a small business owned and operated auto shop in Aurora, CO near Buckely Space Force, Pickens Tech, and near city Hall. They are trustworthy, kind, knowledgeable, very accommodating and friendly. Today I went in for my oil change and regular auto maintenance. I also had all my filters changed and my new tires realigned. I dropped off my car at 9 AM and Edgar, the owner was kind & dropped me back off at my home during my service so that I could work from home for the rest of the day. Then when the car was ready for pick up Edgar came back to my house and picked me up. Such amazing & generous customer service. Even if the staff was not available to do a pick up and drop off, they also offered a rideshare service if needed. This is a huge lifesaver for me and super accommodating of my chaotic work schedule. I always feel safe in my vehicle after picking up my car for maintenance. I know I have a reliable vehicle when my car is serviced here. I also love that they use different apps and technology to explain the services, show the repairs needed or maintenance required options for your car. Jose and Andrew at the front of house of the shop are amazing and also make the whole experience convenient and a breeze. I have also called the shop for other referral services. They referred me to a local glass shop and I had an exceptional experience. I've been spoiled my whole life and always had family members that are mechanics in HI help with my car maintenance and it's really nice to have a mechanic shop in CO that you can trust like family. This shop takes so much pride in their work and customer service, which is why they have such an incredible reputation. Not only are they an exceptional auto shop, they are also very community minded and huge advocates for the small business community in Aurora, Colorado. While I'd love to give this shop 5 stars, I just can't after my recent experience with my car. A little history, my car broke down the first week of January in Lakewood and I had Lee Myles repair it. They botched the job and cost me more money! The power steering hose had blown and while they partially fixed that they said the power steering was still not working and it was EITHER the power steering pump or the rack and pinion. Lee Myles shop said the only way to find out what the problem was, was to replace one or the other and see if it worked! I opted for the cheaper method of the power steering pump and picked up the car only to have the hose come off again a week later. Now I'm in Aurora and my car is not moving so it gets towed to Edgar's place. First impression, these guys are super! I mean, they are just all so super nice! Edgar himself talked to me about my car and what they had found. He showed me the hose that Lee Myles used when they "fixed" my car the previous week. He explained what needed to be done, showed a picture of how it should have been done, and that the warranty I received from Lee Myles was going to take care of a big chunk of the repair cost. He even drove me to the car rental place so I could get a car and head off to work on the other side of Lakewood. Now here's why I cannot give this shop 5 stars. I was told that there was a lot of fluid everywhere and they cleaned it up so they could see if there were any additional leaks. I was told the rack and pinion were leaking and it needed to be replaced. If I had the money at that moment I would have had them do it, but I'm glad I didn't. My daughter works for Stevinson Chevrolet and said she could have them look at it for me and IF the rack and pinion needed to be replaced it would be half the cost of the shop because of her employee discount. I figured at this point what's there to lose, at least I'd be back on my side of town if anything else happened. Once again I was told by another shop, Stevinson, that there was power steering fluid everywhere and they needed to clean it up to see anything. They also said they were going to put a dye in the fluid that would help them see any leaks after driving the car around for a week. I've had my car there 3 times in the past month and a half to check this and not a single leak has been detected in the rack and pinion. I've not had any other issues with my car. What Edgar's shop fixed, the power steering hose / line, resolved my problem, but I was actually kind of disappointed about the misdiagnosis. To their defense I can only surmise that they didn't clean out the fluid well enough and just assumed it was leaking, but that assumption would have cost me a lot of money and that's the reason I cannot give them 5 stars. However, I would still recommend them to anyone broke down over in Aurora. read more

The quality of care they took when inspecting my vehicle, along with the immediate service meant I was back on the road in a safe vehicle almost right way. I dropped my car off on Monday, and despite needing a ton of work I had the estimate within 24 hours, and the work done by the end of the day Tuesday. Extremely friendly, easy to talk to, and HONEST. No one, not even friends of the family, has ever been as helpful to me and my car as Edgar is. You can go where your family and friends go, or you can go to the place where they really know what a car needs, and what it doesn't need, and what you as a customer want. In the office, Edgar and Tom are both helpful and friendly, giving me good advice on how to go about getting a lot of repairs done on a used car I bought almost two years ago. I couldn't get all the necessary repairs done all at once, but Edgar knew what was critical to do first, and what could wait a little longer. So I've been going here almost two years now, getting what I need a little at a time. And now everything is done so I'm ready for my emissions testing coming up early next year. And I can drive it anywhere, anytime, without worrying about stalling or breaking down. There was one thing Edgar didn't want to fix for me, and for good reason. He found out my car was subject to a recall, so I took it in to a Nissan dealer and got the sensors causing driveability problems replaced for free. While Edgar's the best of mechanics for price, quality, and service, he wasn't authorized to do those factory recalls for Nissan. So he wanted to let me get those repairs done for free at the dealer rather than make the money for himself. It takes an honest man in an honest shop to tell me he wants me to save the money, which I don't have a lot of, by getting the recall repair for free. Then when the dealer said I needed one more thing after the recall repairs, I went back to Aurora AutoPros, and Edgar gave me a really good price on that repair, getting me back on the road right away. The experience I had at this shop was outstanding. I took my car to a Pepboys for an oil change and for a general inspection. The mechanics there insisted that I needed to replace my front quick struts and quoted me at an amount that I found quite insane. I decided to look for a reputable auto repair shop and came across this one and its amazing reviews. I contacted them via email for an estimate and they suggested I come in instead of quoting me over email. First thing they did when I went in was take me on a ride in my car so they could hear the same thing I was hearing. They determined that what was making the noise was actually the sway link bars. They provided me with estimates for both the sway link bars and the front quick struts because that's what I had asked for. I asked the owner for his professional opinion on the matter and he suggested that replacing the sway link bars would get rid of the noise and that he did not believe the struts were the issue. They made every reasonable time accommodation and even offered to drive me to work. Now my car is noise free and drives like a champ. On top of saving me hundreds of dollars, they offer a military discount as well! I will never go anywhere else for any of my vehicle needs. Highly recommend!! read more

I was in from out of town (west coast) just for the night. Stay with a old girlfriend downtown in the new high rises. I parked in her Second designated spot. But they towed me because I didn't have a tag that match the parking number. So I woke up to that. Recovered my truck from the tow yard Wyatt towing ( not mad shit happens) . When I get my truck has a nail in the tire I think no big deal I can just put a plug-in go down the street for blocks to a nice little tire repair shop 20 bucks fix truck dies in the parking lot when I go to park. Will not start back up I have the guys fix the tire while AAA finds a mechanic and a tow. AAA referred me to other places. I called my friend they told me to go here I called them and informed them of the situation. They took me right in. Edgar figured out the problem. the cable came off the transmission apparently the tow people disengage my transmission so they can move it and not put it back on correctly. No charge. He did me a solid. I'd like to think I fought for my country for men like this. God bless this guy anyone else would of charged me 300 bucks. This place is a rare find. Edgar saved me a huge hassle by sending out a tow truck to get my vehicle and take it back to his shop, and for a great price too. He was able to diagnose and fix the issue I was having with my truck and the turn around time was some of the best I've seen. I can't tell you how lucky we felt to have found this company on our cross country trip. We knew no one in Denver and they were conveniently located to the hotel we were staying at. We were driving two cars to Utah and one of them was an older Honda Civic which was clearly not going to make it past Denver. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I found this place out of the blue and because of my experience there I will only be taking my car here. As soon as i walked in i was greeted with a nice clean shop, a very good sign of things to come. The woman behind the desk was very friendly and offered me some freshly brewed coffee while I wait. When I got to speak to Edgar, the main Auto tech, I didnt once feel like i was being talked down to. He even pointed out things i will need in the future and things i could do but dont really need to do right away. Im not loaded by any stretch so honesty like that was very comforting. The shop as a whole is easily the cleanest shop ive ever been in. The location is easy to find as long as you are aware that buckley turns into airport blvd at alameda. I was a little thrown off at first by the changing table in the restroom but i dont have kids. Though i could only imagine how frustrating it would be if they didnt have one. All in all i will not only only return because the prices were good(oil change and a broken seat) and the vibe was one of integrity and I didnt feel like i was going to get ripped off at all.
