Excellent customer service. I was visiting Chico and driving my Mom's car when the windshield fluid light came on. I stopped into Auto Zone, walked in and was greeted by a nice young man who helped me with what I needed. He even offered to put the fluid in the car after my purchase. I could not thank him enough for his knowledge, professionalism and it was over 100 degrees outside and he took care of it. Don't expect them to be there when they open the walk in10 minutes late, throw their cigarette next to you as they walk in the door 10 minutes after they're supposed to be open, And then even after that, you'll stand around, waiting for them to open the door you wait. after 30 minutes you decide to leave. Bought some snow cables from this location and the guy who helped me out said to bring them back if I don't use them and he could look up the item under my account number for the return. Well I wasn't offered a receipt and assumed I could return them with my account information. Now I've got $80 snow cables that I probably will never use. Not to mention, the woman who helped me when I came back was really rude but who knows she could have been going through a bad day. I also happen to know if you go back to the same register and computer and know the exact day you bought the cables they can look up the purchase and you can return them;) My brothers worked for autozone. read more

Check engine light was on. They used a diagnostic tool to tell me what the most likely problem was and gave me a printout. No charge. Bought a gas cap, which was the most likely fix at a reasonable price with a military discount. Very competent and friendly. read more

I stopped into auto zone this afternoon to get an air filter. The associate, Jason, was super helpful gave great advice. He helped find not only the air filter but suggested I change the interior filter as well. He also offered to install them for me. Turns out the interior filter was super dirty more so the the engine. I was very pleased and will definitely shop there again. read more

Completely dissatisfying experience. Came in and found firefighters looking for wiring to some lights that went out on the fire line and the manager and staff acted like they were too busy to help those guys. Bad place, lazy staff and just out right wrong. Don't shop here. read more

The workers at Auto Zone on Park Ave. went above and beyond in helping me with my car. They took the time to come out and help me. Admittedly the guys who helped me were wrong on a couple things and I had to go to a mechanic anyway, but they aren't mechanics and they did way more than they needed to to help me and didn't talk me up to buy things I didn't need and showed me cheaper alternatives. I'm going to keep going to this store because of how friendly and helpful they were, in the long run they will make more money off of me by helping me that much. Incompetent! Is all I can say we ordered a part may 28 and today is June 5th and still no damn part! When someone offers to come pay for a part and the person working there says no you don't have to then the part doesn't come in and then management has weak excuses about how they ordered from an outside company . Then are told the order was cancelled because no money was put down. So we pay and still nothing!Really ?? You stupid ass people ! What kind of business are you running?? Unacceptable!!! Meanwhile we r still out the part and trying to finish our vehicle repairs . Auto zone please hire some competent people! No excuses just get the part and stop telling people it's coming in on this day and then nothing like 4 times already. read more

I really can't believe how helpful and friendly the workers are at this store. Let's get real - no one has time for car problems and the workers here get that. I had gotten a jump from AAA and my battery had a dead cell inside, so I knew if I stopped my car would die. I was also running out of gas (and you can't really fill up a car that is turned on). My battery was under warranty through Costco, so I was able to keep my car running while getting a new battery. Costco apparently doesn't replace batteries and all the stores I called don't either (O'Reily, American Tires). So, I told my situation to Greg Hood at autozone who really went above and beyond to help me make sure I could get it changed. Seriously, I cannot believe that he was able to help me today because if he didn't I would have had to get towed to a shop all because I don't know have the tools or knowledge of battery replacement. Greg is incredibly nice and considerate. If you're reading this you should really consider trusting this autozone with all your future car needs as they obviously hire people with knowledge of cars and compassion for customers. read more

On 8/11/2015 at around 8:30 AM I drove to AutoZone to grab some power steering fluid leak protection crap. The guy who helped me was extremely nice, helpful, and informative and got me the product I needed immediately. After filling the power steering fluid, my truck wouldn't start... went back inside to borrow a screwdriver and was given one without hesitation. Went back outside and tightened the connections on my battery and got power to my truck, but not ignition. Went back inside and the same guy volunteered to come out and help me figure it out. We stood there for about an hour as he ran through the different possibilities in his head (because I'm useless under the hood) until one of his proposals worked! Turns out my ignition cylinder might be temperamental from age or weight on my key ring, but I would have never known and would have called a tow truck if it weren't for that super generous employee! I'd give you his name for future reference, but I'm an ass and never asked for it... Point is- great place, good prices, nice people! read more
