After arriving in Kansas during an ice storm I used what little bit of fluid was left then the next day my wiper blades were shot!!! So fast forward; I drove to OKC got a hotel and my bestie met me at this place. We went in and told them what I needed at first some kid tried to tell me what he thought I needed then I looked at the guy behind him and said I am a veteran with many years of vehicle maintenance, I know exactly what I need for my car. Things changed very very quickly, the older gentleman said he had this, the other gentlemen got everything I needed, and BOOM I was set! This place is great for parts!…read more My alternator went out, and thanks to my boyfriend's dad for calling around, he stumbled upon this gem. They were very nice. Had one available the next day. Got it picked up. Stated there would be a $100 refund as long as we returned the old one. Simple and easy. I paid over the phone with a card, but they give you a cash option with a small discount since the card charges a transaction fee. We don't live close, but we will be using them again because they has everything we needed plus more than excellent customer experience.

I took my truck back to Mr Pickup, they took some pictures, and about a week and a half later, the panel was replaced under warranty. Plus they went above and beyond and squeezed me in to their schedule earlier than they had an opening, so I could have it taken care of before a road trip. And then there's a couple young employees who counteract the mustache man, so it kind of works itself out... I was looking for some spark plugs recently. The Honda dealership I went to wanted to charge me $30 + labor for each spark plug. I got the same things for approximately $10 at AAP, and it was a simple enough fix that it didn't require getting the dealership to do it. So something that was going to cost me a $150+ ended up costing me $40. Mustache man gave me a solid explanation while not making me feel like an idiot. Find the Mustache man.[1] Ask him questions. He'll walk you through it. Then Google/Youtube your car make/model and whatever issue you're having with your vehicle. Some good Samaritan out there has more than likely described the fix and/or uploaded a "how to" video. The internet + AAP will help you feel like a man.[2] [1]Note: Sounds like a superhero. [2]Note: There is an incorrect assumption (imho) that the amount of knowledge you have about sports, cars, shooting animals, etc. somehow makes you more of a man.
