I went to get a engine air filter replacement. Lance was happy to help install it for me, and suggested I replace my cabin air filter as well. Both were gunked up and in need of replacement. I had to go back the next day because Lance had forgotten to put back the housing cover of my cabin air filter and Spencer helped me with that. From the moment I walked into the store, he let me know that he was there to help. As someone who worries about their car but knows nothing about cars, I was thrilled with my quick experience at Autozone. I was heading out on a quick 30 hour Cali trip and wanted to make sure my car was going to make the trip. I was most worried about my battery and thought I would get it checked just to be sure. Luckily, I found this AutoZone. When I walked in, Nicolasito quickly saw that I didn't know this place as well as my local Target. He offered to help right away. I told him my worries and she didn't laugh at me and instead was glad that I came in before a trip. He got the battery test machine and came out to my car. I needed to identify and pull a mini fuse from my Honda odyssey. I went to the auto zone on horizon ridge. The sales associate (Jessie) was extremely helpful. He let me borrow his small pliers so I could remove the defective fuse. Unfortunately, the store was out of that particular 20A fuse. At that point Jessie said I may have a fuse in my car. We walked to his vehicle and he pulled out a multi pack and gave me the fuse. Know that is customer service above and beyond. Jessie is the type of individual that needs to be in many of these retail or service stores. Great job !! read more

Very consistent and clean store! Every Time I come to this location they are very helpful. I had my battery and alternator tested and they try and help you work out a solution. The store and parking lot are a bit small compared to some other locations and it's easier to access if you are coming from the east side of Green Valley Parkway versus from the west since there isn't a turn lane to get into the complex. I went into autozone at 2240 w horizon ridge on a hot afternoon and Kris (store manager) Lance and Rodel were working. They replaced my battery under warranty and were so kind. Lance cleaned all the corrosion so the new battery would work well and really took his time to ensure it was in place and safely installed. Located on Horizon Ridge just west of Green Valley Parkway this location is easily accessible from GVP, the 215 and Eastern Ave. I have been to this location several times the past couple months. Each time I have been greeted by an employee and quicky offered assistance. Everyone has been friendly and knowledgeable and I have been in and out quickly. I called this store (2240 W. Horizon Ridge Pkwy) and asked if they would replace a battery that I just bought somewhere other than their store and if so, what would they charge. I was told they would install it for FREE. Drove there with fingers crossed that my car would make it there only to be told they don't install batteries for free that were bought new from another store! I was lied to, so I highly recommend finding another place to have a battery changed...or anything else your car may need. BUYER BEWARE read more

My husband and I came in today because we needed help with our battery. My husband was told to remove the battery himself, which he did, whatever... they charged it for us but found the battery was no good. My husband was handed the tools to put the battery back in our car himself. My husband isn't a mechanic, we don't know much about cars. So he tried to put our battery back in the car and dropped one of the pieces into the engine area and we couldn't find it. My husband goes back inside the store for the third time and asks for help again, and once again he's handed a tool and told to do it himself. By this point we're both frustrated by the lack of customer service by multiple employees. After the frustration we were having I walked In the store and voiced my frustration because by this point I was already on hold with road side service to get our car towed. Then CHRIS came out and helped us get our missing part found, battery installed and our car jumped and started. Thank you so very much Chris, we truly appreciate your help. I went to the AutoZone to change my car battery and the customer service was unacceptable, the 2 works were rude and Erin was the one that started the sale but was very unfriendly and didn't want to help install the battery so I asked him to explain how to do it and was rude and then refused to explain it to me, so I asked for the manager and he came out rude before I could explain the situation and he is the store manager and was worst then the other worker before him I believe his Name was Anselmo! Let me first start by praising Joe. I called at the last hour before they closed after waiting nearly 4 hours for roadside assistance to come jump my car. My anger level was at an all-time high from waiting so long and I was worried the battery would die again. I needed to get a new battery ASAP. I called Auto Zone right away and Joe answered. I needed them to put it in and though it was 7:55 pm and they don't put in batteries after 8 pm, the manager said for me to come in right away and they would do it. Joe was friendly and being a mechanic he had it done properly and in a heartbeat. We chatted while he worked and he was very personable and nice. After the day I had I swear he was like an angel who swooped in and shifted everything. They come right out and test your battery, and then they will even install a new one if you need it, including cars with batteries in weird places like in the trunk or in the cargo area of an SUV.
