I've come here a couple of times for my car repair needs. The last visit I had was just ok. The guy that was helping me did not seem interested in my business. I purchased ignition wires for my car and he gave me two choices, one was more expensive than the other. When I asked him what the difference was between the two, he just said one was of better quality than the other and left it at that. No further explanation. I purchased the more expensive wires because I really care about my vehicles, but if I would have been informed a little bit more, I think I could have saved some money with the less expensive wires. Other than that, the store is always very neat and put together. But I will probably go to Auto Zone next time to see if their customer service is a little better. Won't be back to this store. Purchased a battery here that ended up being non-functioning. We ended up towing our car to a repair shop to find that out (thinking we'd fixed the thing that we could). Took non-functioning battery back to them after paying the shop to get a new one, and they don't accept returns, even though they tested that it was bad themselves. They will only replace it, which we already had to pay someone else to do so our car would work again. read more

Big plus for customer service. I changed my mind regarding some brake parts (upgraded to a better brand) and no issues with my return. No issues here. I went to this O'Reilly Auto Parts store last night 1/25 with my motorcycle battery. The battery only died because I left the lights on. The guy at the store advise me that he couldn't test the battery, but that he could put it on a slow charge. I was confused as to why he couldn't test it. I left the battery to charge and he stated I should pick the battery up the next day. Arrived at the store the next day and the same guy handed me a swollen battery. Telling me it had to swell because of a dead cell. I advised the guy that this has to be do to an over charge. He said that was not the case. I spoke with my mechanic and he advised that the store overcharged the battery. I called the store within the same hour and asked for a replacement due to them overcharging it. A guy named Doug refused and said I could call back when the manager Lena was available on Tuesday morning. I will be calling Lena first thing Tuesday to get this resolved hopefully. Customer beware! Spoke with Lena and she wants to charge me $80 for a new battery when they they damaged my battery. I used to go to this place on a regular, but they just lost a customer. SMH! read more

When I got my car serviced at the dealership a few days back, they recommended replacing the battery soon. Sure enough it was starting up a little slow, so I wanted to go in and see if it would be wise to get it replaced then and there, upon my visit to O'Reilly. The guy waiting on me was quickly and easily able to check the condition of the battery for me, and recommended replacing it. He told me that I could probably get some more time out of the one that was in there, but I also explained my situation that I have to drive to and from the other end of town for work on a regular basis. I asked if they had someone there that could install the battery if I bought one, and they said they could do it, no problem. They even checked me in their system (I had bought my last batter there), and were able to save me a TON of money on the new battery based on this. That alone was a huge plus for me. The employee helping me almost immediately got out there and began removing the old battery and installing the new one. I think from the time I arrived at O'Reilly to the time they had the new one in and ready to go, the whole process only took about 15 minutes or so - THIS is the way to take care of your customers. I will definitely return based on this solid experience. Highly recommended. read more

There are several auto parts stores in the Southeast part of Henderson. O'Reilly keeps getting my business for a couple of reasons. Here's a Pros and Cons list to help you decide if you want to stop here. Pros: Free testing. If your check engine light is on you can walk in, leave your drivers license with the counterperson and they'll let you take an OBD-II hand held code reader out to your car. This lets you read your vehicle's trouble codes so you know if you have a minor issue or a major one. Battery Testing: Vegas in the summer is brutal on car batteries. O'Reilly like many places has a portable battery tester. Tell them you want your battery checked and they'll test it right in your car. If you need a replacement battery and you buy it from them they will install it for you. They can also test alternators, starters, and several different types of electronic modules and other parts too. Parts & Selection: I prefer Wix filters after living in the midwest and using them with farm equipment. They carry most of the major national manufacturers of auto parts so if you've had bad experiences with parts from Napa or Autozone, you may want to look at the products O'Reilly carries. Special Orders: Usually same day, or sometimes overnight. They have no problem getting stuff in most of the time. Service: At the time I'm writing this monsoon season is approaching. If you need new wiper blades and you buy them here they will install them for you. I already mentioned the in-car battery testing. And when you ask them to install or test you won't get an attitude either! Open Early and Late: 7:30 to 10:00 pm Mon - Sat, 8 am to 9 pm Sundays. Those early and late hours can be very helpful when your car has a problem at the worst possible times. Cons: Parking. If the shopping center is busy parking can be a slight pain to get in and out of. Pricing: Want 5 qts of Mobil 1 motor oil? You can pay $27 at WalMart, or $37 here. A bottle of Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner: $9.99 at WalMart, $11.99 here. You can find some things cheaper at WalMart, or if you can wait and ship it in Amazon can beat them on price. But if you need it now and don't want to deal with WalMart you'll pay a slight premium for it. On weekends they can be slightly understaffed which means you may have to cool your heels while waiting in line to check out. But if you don't mind that O'Reilly should be on your list of places to check out if you need auto parts, car care supplies, etc. Disclaimer: Many, MANY years ago I used to work for O'Reilly back when they had less than 100 stores. But that was then...today it's about do they have what I want, and at a reasonable price? I don't like being ignored or insulted at Pep Boys, and sometimes Autozone doesn't have what I want. FYI Buyers....when you purchase a battery, be sure to ask what the details are about the warranty. My car would not start today, the battery is around a year old. It's under warranty....here's the catch...when you take it back you have to wait 54 minutes while they test it...if it takes a charge...no warranty for you . It's Monday morning...should be at work....looks like I will be working late unto the night. This is the desert what are the chances that it won't start when I leave work??? I'm getting this guys number so he can bring me a battery tonight. Typically batteries don't last long in the desert because of the heat. So the take away...be prepared to wait and possibly have to deal with the issue a couple of times. My bet....they don't really honor the warranty. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. Having vehicle problems, so stopped in to have machine hooked up to see why the check engine light came on. Went inside and was told they don't perform the service. You give iD and credit card so be given machine to hook up yourself. Unfortunately, I didn't know where to hook it up. The associate was very unhelpful just saying it is pretty easy to figure out. After no solutions were offered, I said that I would not be supporting this business in the future, and would see if I could get assistance at autozone instead. The sales associate's only response was, "good luck". I am providing this review as I felt completely disregarded as a customer, and if this is the type of staffing employed by a customer service related business, I am greatly disheartened for how other customers are treated. There should have been at least an attempt to guide me in the right direction to figure out what was the issue with the vehicle. Due to poorly trained staff, I will no longer support this business, nor will I recommend for anyone to ever go there. read more

Normally I hate going to an auto parts store because for whatever reason I am met with attitude. Possibly it's because I know almost next to nothing about the combustion engine. Stopped by O'reilly to pick up a new battery for my vehicle. Monty stepped up to the plate for the assist. I told him what I needed and he looked it up. Had a great experience on October 21st. Went in to check for warranty on my battery of a 1 and a half. Came out with a brand new one covered under warranty due to having a bad cell in it. Lena the manager at the time helped me get in and out the door with a another battery. Recommend for future auto parts questions and problems with a vehicle. read more

Went in on Saturday to purchase parts for 2 vehicles David at the counter was very unhappy to assist. We picked up our product and had to return because he gave us the wrong product. He wouldn't issue a return or an even swap for the product he had in stock and made it as we were in the wrong. I told him to give me a return and I would go to auto zone down the street and he gave me a dirty look. It end up costing me 2 trips there and and 2 bad experiences, I don't think I will be shopping there for awhile. read more
