Had a dead battery. Was able to exchange it because its warranty was still active. Saved hundreds. The staff was polite and friendly.

Big old tires in Maricopa has just lost another customer I will not be back.

"We do not want you as a customer, we do not want your business. Do not contact us in any way. You…read moreare not welcome here either." - Roman Bylkov, Owner Maricopa Auto Outlet I received the above message from Roman, the Owner of Maricopa Auto Outlet after I asked him to correct a simple tire selection mistake! From The Best Car Buying Experience - To The Absolute Worst! A MUST READ for anyone considering buying a vehicle from these people This past Saturday, I drove all the way from far East Mesa to Maricopa not just for a destination vehicle but for a small town owner/operator, skip the big dealer, no-hassle car buying experience. The reviews online for this dealership were a dominating factor in this decision, and I arrived at Maricopa Auto Outlet expecting the best car-buying experience ever! When I arrived, I was a bit disappointed to find that the high-end luxury Lexus Sports Car I was there to purchase was not in any shape to be sold or delivered, though it had been sitting on the lot for 9-months! The tires were mis-matched and irregularly worn, the brakes were worn to the point of being unsafe, the engine compartment was filthy, and it only had one smart key. After a test drive, I went in the office to meet with Roman and discuss the transaction. I mentioned my concerns to him, he inspected the vehicle and agreed that all I had listed should be addressed before delivery. At this point, I made him a fair offer to take the vehicle immediately as it sat. Roman declined, saying he would take care of the pre-delivery maintenance items and wanted to keep the vehicle at the full asking price. I agreed to this only under the stipulation that ALL parts and tires met OEM standards and that the tires needed to be at least a 60k mile tire. To which Roman answered "that's fine" and adds these items to a "WE OWE" form in the deal. We come to terms on my trade value and Roman reaches across the desk to shake my hand to seal the deal! PLEASE READ ON: Once the paperwork is completed we agree that they will deliver the car to me in Mesa on Tuesday once all of the work is done. I agree and leave. A bit later in the day, I ask Roman by email to please let me know what kind of tires he puts on the vehicle and provided him with the OEM specs. He later replies with a photo of a receipt from Discount Tires asking me if this is ok. Upon examining the receipt, it clearly states: "The tire you have chosed is different from the original equipment provided with your vehicle and may change its handling or stability characteristics". I looked the tire up by model to see that Roman has selected the least expensive tire that will fit that vehicle! (NOT OEM AS AGREED) Ultimately, I am paying for the tires and the vehicle, and I have a reasonable right to receive the correct tires! When I asked Roman if he could equitably replace these with the correct tires, he explodes! Roman then replies to me to inform me that our deal is unwound and that he is cancelling the transaction. After some back and forth communication to resolve the situation, I ultimately I get this from him: "We do not want you as a customer, we do not want your business. Do not contact us in any way. You are not welcome here either. Do not show up. If you show up, we will charge you with trespassing as this message states. Further message will be treated as harassment. Any deception to our business will be treated right back to you" ALL OF THIS BECAUSE THEY BOUGHT THE WRONG TIRES AND REFUSED TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE! IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING HERE - RE THINK IT!

Holy guacamole, car maintenance is easy to put to the back of your mind, but it should never stay…read morethere too long. Admittedly, this got away from me, but I believe in taking care of my car, lest the damage become worse and more expensive. Brake Masters surprisingly got me in right away even though I came in on a Friday in the late morning. They did the oil change as well as a full inspection, finding an issue I actually didn't know about. I knew I'd need a new air filter, but I also had to replace the cabin filter as well as the belt that helps run the alternator and starter. That's the part that hurt my heart (and my bank account), but letting it go will eventually hurt far worse in the long run. Jennifer was great about finding deals, but in the end, we were able to lighten the amount through my veteran's discount. Everyone was polite, and the work was completed fairly quickly. I was actually still shopping in the main plaza when the store called to tell me the oil change was complete. I would return and recommend this business as a good place to work on your vehicle.

I chose brake masters to have my rear brakes replaced, because the rears were making noise and…read moreshaking when I stopped. I had the front brakes and rotors replaced more recently so I knew it was time for rears. They said my rears and fronts were both at 5, which surprised me, and they recommended doing both pads and the rear rotors. They also recommended a brake flush service. I agreed thinking I may as well do some preventative maintenance. When I got the car back, I noticed I had to depress the brakes much further than before, almost all the way to the floor before it would stop fully. I thought this was odd since they're new pads it should be more sensitive not less? I drove around more assuming it was a break in period, tried some fixes like depressing the brakes all the way with the car off, but still weak brakes. So I called and brought the car back in the next day they were open. I took time off work and I appreciated them squeezing me in between their other appointments. After 2 hours I was told they were going to have someone drive it and test it. I thought they had been fixing it, but after a bit the car returned and they said he didn't notice anything wrong so I was sent off with nothing done. I didn't have time to argue so I left unsatisfied. Maybe I needed to let them break in still? I drove it to work, but had to leave extra room for stopping distance as the brakes were very weak, barely stopping the car till over half way down, and when fully depressed I'm still rolling. So I brought it in a 3rd time and I had to insist that something wasn't right. I was treated like I was stupid, that nothing was wrong, but I had to push to get them to bleed the brakes properly. They had an attitude like they were going above and beyond and just doing it as a favor to me, like it was a waste of time to them. After another couple hours they said they bled the brakes using a different method and had a 3rd person drive it. I got more of the guilting and was told if it still isn't good, to come back later and they'll try something but that they've done all they could really do. Thankfully the brakes function as I would expect, except they still shake pretty rough sometimes. There's much less air in the lines and they respond a lot sooner. The car is now safe to drive after 3 visits and about 10 hours of time. Would not recommend anyone to go here. Clearly not experts in brakes, and very low standards of quality of their work. I wouldn't trust them to do anything else on my vehicle. The amount of time I had to spend fighting them to do the job correctly completely eliminated any value of cost savings I might have had. Very awkward uncomfortable experience. I especially didn't appreciate that I had to fight for them to acknowledge there was something wrong at all, which speaks to either their technical knowledge, standard of work, or effort values. I would not work with a mechanic who lacks any of those things so I won't be going back here. No trust in their work at all. 2 stars because I'm grateful they eventually did help me make it right even if it was forced, instead of telling me to kick rocks. But I certainly won't be using their lifetime brake option that got bundled in to the deal. Not going to waste more time fighting for that money back at this point.
