I thought the…read moredamage was limited to an exhaust leak but it had a very unusual and inconsistent sound, so I was concerned about continuing our trip and breaking down in our awesome Arizona heat. Since it was Sunday and a holiday weekend, I wasn't optimistic. We found this shop was open. Huge thanks and kudos to Carl and Victor for inspecting the van on and off the lift right away and showing me that the only significant damage was a crushed exhaust pipe, and it appeared safe for us to continue home. That kind of service and goodwill is not super common these days. We are not just thankful, we won't forget! If you live in this area, I recommend this shop.

I was fortunate enough to find midsttate and they were able to get me in on a friday afternoon to get it fixed. They suggested Carl's although they did say after the company is going through changes. I am not from here and not totally sure where I was. I did give them my location link, my GPS coordinates, and the trail head MAPS link. They gave me where they supposed I was and since I am not from here figured they knew more about where I was. They quoted me 275. Despite them getting there when they said they would be they charged 459.00, a 67% up charge as they claimed I sent them to the wrong place even thought the driver said he entered my information and knew where I was. When I called to ask they said they tried to call me. I had great service and did confirm they had my informed. This company did the job, but I would not recommend them at all. There are plenty of other companies that you can use and I am confident they may not over charge like Carl's did.

We were able to get it started with our generator, but needed someone with Rv knowledge to let us know what was wrong before we were all the way to our campsite. They had us come directly in and diagnosed the problem. It was a bad alternator. They referred us to another location that did that type of repair, assuring us that we were ok to continue on our vacation using our generator until we had time to do the repair. It was my first time setting up a trailer solo, but they showed me everything I needed to do. I recorded video. Later that evening camping, I even had an issue with getting the generator started and that evening, the on call gentleman was able to FaceTime me and walk through the process. Service was amazing. Garvin's RV & Adventures Worst company in arizona…read more 4 day s Sink hole camp site AZ site 026 Day 1 arrived 1 pm unlocked rv Yamaha generator wont start fridge hot. called multiple times off and on all day. fell asleep about pm flushed toilet pump stuck umped all water alarms started going off lasted 2 hrs. batteries died ,no show repair man Day one shot no fishing. Day 2 Walter showed up with a generator, he started it charged the batteries and left to bring back water. We went fishing for about 3-4 hrs. , came back Walter the repair man was almost finished, generator running, water full, batteries charged. late afternoon everything's looking really good eat dinner. Fridge Luke warm at best ,go to forest lakes to buy ice Oh boy around 10:00 p.m. alarms started going off went through the sequence last alarm carbon monoxide 2 hours . I stayed up myself , no sleepstarted generator ran at for 2 1/2 hours to charge the batteries. Ran all night all the other camps were upset. Day 3 woke up to breakfast shut off generator used 1-light ate breakfast and left to go fishing all day got back RV was dead as door nail P.O.S. sStarted generator, ran all day . batteries are shot that won't take a charge. no water, no lights , no sleep.
