It was my first time coming to this location, I am a long time Autozone card holder and I was in need of a battery since mine was giving me grief. PROS: Serino, the attendant who helped me install my battery and was awesome. He also took my call to the correct battery for my Ford. CON: when I called I was given a quote for the make and model of my call, $139.99. When I arrived I was given another price of 189.99+tax which was $213 and change. Serino told me that when he looked in the back the incorrect battery was placed in the wrong place. Advice: when calling to check for an item, ask them to physically check if it's the correct item. I along with my partner called twice to make sure before I arrived but I ended up spending more than I bargained for. I spoke to Giovanni who asked for the car make and model to confirm they had the battery my car needed in stock before coming in to purchase one in person. It was in stock Giovanni also ended up being the one to switch it out; he was professional and respectful and had the new battery set up with no hassle. My car needed a jump just to get it to autozone and once the new one was installed my car was good to go! He also let me know to get a new battery terminal soon too ( due to build up of debris) in which I appreciated cause I would have never known. I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years, and I really like the service and the support of your staff, but, a couple days ago I bought an alternator with a 40 something dollars core, when I bought it back with the RECEIPT 2 of your employees didn't want to give me my money back because I didn't have the card that I used to pay, I told them that this was not the first time I do this and nobody ever asked me for it. Probably they need to be trained again, because today I went back with the credit card and the RECEIPT and the very nice girl who helped me didn't need my credit card to give me my credit back. So I've been neglecting my car lately and needed to do my front brakes and an oil change sooner than later. This is generally my go to AutoZone and today was a good reminder of why. When I entered I was immediately helped by Jocelyn (I'm hoping I spelled her name right lol). She was super friendly, helpful and personable. I asked which brakes I had under warranty, what oil weight my car took, and what specials they had available. She gave me the information I needed and I went to go see what oil special I would go with. During this time she grabbed my brake pads and oil filter that went with the specials for me. Wow. I have never had service as good as the service that I received at this location. Valentine was there to help me get a new battery when a competitor failed to deliver. Even with the frustration that I had walking in already, he was extremely friendly and helpful from the beginning. Mayra helped me (over the phone) to find multiple parts I needed for my car. Usually this AutoZone lacks customer service, but this time she did an amazing job. As a former AutoZone employee, I can say she did all she could to ensure I can get my parts as soon as possible, while providing an amazing positive attitude and speed. I went in there today to get license plate bolts I asked the guy if someone could put them on for me he said they don't do repairs... Oook didn't think that was a repair being they work in a parts store thought it wouldn't be trouble for them but maybe he was just lazy or doesn't know how idk. Sooo... my battery died. Multiple sad deaths. In one day. Sigghhh... However! We jolted it to life and knowing that I will NOT be turning my car off until I get a new battery, I drove straight to AutoZone!! Walking in, their store seemed busy with a constant flow of customers with just 3-4 workers. I was asked to wait aside until they finished with other customers just making a quick purchase before they check my battery to make sure it's really DEAD. It was. Michael was SUPPPEER helpful!! He came right over, popped open my hood, tested the life of the battery and told me he could replace it RIGHT AWAY! We decided it was and with a few clicks on the computer he found the correct replacement. He offered a few options for me to choose and recommended a good one. Within 15 minutes I was in and out and Michael kindly took my dead battery and put my new one. I was so appreciative! THANKS MIKE!! I called earlier in the day to see if they had a water pump for my truck. They did, so I asked them to hold it for me, and I told them I wouldn't be able to get there until right around closing time. They told me that would be fine, and it will be at the counter waiting for me. I ended up getting there 12 minutes before they closed for the night. When I rushed up to the door I saw 3 employees look over at me. The door was locked! They ignored me when I knocked. They just continued to count the money in the registers, like I wasn't even there. Now I am stranded with a truck that is overheating, and no water pump. I am going to have to wait until they open back up in the morning I guess.
