He went back and changed the wipers on his car. Next, it's my turn. After the mechanic does the inspection, he approaches me and (surprise!) he has to fail me because my wipers "need" replacing. If I let him change them for me for $50, then he can pass me. Interesting, because my husband put new wipers on that car 2 months ago. Your option is to let them extort you for $50 or drive around with a failed inspection sticker and waste another hour in line somewhere else. They know they've got you and they think you're stupid. Avoid these crooks.

It's still a NAPA, therefore most of what you want is behind the counter and this just isn't like the consumer-centric sort of autoparts store where you can browse the isles for bling, this get your parts and get back to fixin' stuff centric, so if you are looking for license plate frames, decals, and stuff to hang from the mirror, drive past and stop holding up the line!

What a mess! Took my car in for service b. Was told it would only take a few hours. I'm told I need a tire and the 60k checkup. What is the difference between service b and 60k maintenance? Why wasn't this made clear when I dropped off and my mileage was reviewed? Anywho, I call back to Carlos to schedule the tire. Leave a message. Week later, I call again. I'm left on hold for five minutes. I call back and young woman says, Oh there is now someone at service desk to see if the tire is in. Hold on. Five more minutes later she grabs my phone number. Still waiting for a call back! They will not have my business and will dissuade others from going. Messy messy messy!
