Brakes were fine, just dust build up, so no charge and appreciated. However, I was charged $531.95 for the alternator part alone (GM part #20911162), before labor/tax/fees. The same exact part number is available from Amazon ($199.70), GMPartsGiant ($268.81), and GMPartsClub ($318.59) -- all about half off what I paid, even accounting for normal shop markup over retail. Labor ($192) was fair. I wasn't shown itemized part pricing before authorizing the repair. Ask for the exact part number and price breakdown before agreeing to a repair here, or get a second quote. If you don't, expect to pay completely avoidable and unneccesary markups.

Taking their time to do an estimate about a week with the car "A" Auto Body finally completed their estimate. THEY TOTALED THE CAR. Since the car only had a "repairable bump" on it and ran perfectly. Simply put my common sense radar went off and I told them I wanted the car. THEN I received a $2,300.00 approx. bill for my car being parked in their lot while they did the estimate and heard from the insurance company. In the mean time no one in the shop called to tell me I could pick the car up. This is a fee I was unaware and never told by the front desk when checking in ($150.00 per day.) The fee was an additional charge over and above any work on the car included other "charges" for the estimate itself. Their response when I voiced concern about the parking fees was, "The insurance company will pay." My review to other customers: Caveat Emptor - "buyer beware." Do your homework and don't leave the car.
