Came in and it was discovered that their scanning tool could not connect to my vehicle which is a 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The tool was needed in case break error codes needed to be cleared. Left disappointed and began calling around for plan B. To my surprise Harry called and said after doing some research they feel that the tool will not be necessary for my brake job. I went Saturday to change my break pads and rotors since they told me at another shop that they needed to be changed. I know nothing about cars and I feel they take advantage of me at most places when I take my car for service. Saturday evening I went and when I told them about the job that needed to be done, they immediately tell me the rotors won't need a change since it's a 2023 car, then they took it for inspection and they told me they still have about 15,000 left and no work needed to be done and didn't charge me anything.
