I have been to this location many times but I have never been assisted by someone so wonderful. London helped me check my pressure but also went further in their customer experience to share information on my tire tread, when it may be best to schedule a rotation, and lifespan of a tire and more. I think it's important to celebrate people when you see them going above and beyond. I would revisit this location just for London. read more

I've never been so satisfied at a tire shop. My 1976 450SL's tire wouldn't keep air and I attributed it to a bent rim from a prior incident on that tire. Damian came out to look at my car, checked me in and was extremely helpful with getting to a resolution. All along, it was just a small nail in my tire. I recently got a new car and the tires are run flats. I came to this Discount 10 minutes before they closed. I just needed air pressure checked as a warning message came on. I realize it's 10 mins but there was no line and this takes less than 5 mins. They were closing up the garage while I sat there, not one person acted like they saw my car sitting there nor did I get one acknowledgement. Unacceptable! And I was worried about driving in the rain, so I decided to head straight to Discount Tire, after work. Luckily, the drive was only 7-minutes one way. Call me impressed...from start to finish this location on W Sahara was top notch! I called to inquire about replacing all 4 of my car tires. Patiently, all my questions were answered fully. A mention of a sale over the weekend was honored on Monday with my full upfront payment/order of tires (in person). Coming in to order the tires, I found several people working with customers and mechanics busy at work in the bays. I easily placed then paid for my tires bc the initial person had meticulously entered all my information into the system. An appointment was made for 2 days later. Although I had to reschedule, there was no problem or pushback. On the day of new appointment, I arrived to multiple people working quickly with all customers to get everyone back on the road expeditiously. My car keys (along with pics) were taken, I was checked in, and added to the queue. Immediately a text was received where I could follow along (on my phone) with my car's progress. Love that!!! I considered leaving for breakfast, but was surprised by how quickly my tires were placed on and balanced. Less than an hour and I was "on the road again"!!! Staying in the lobby afforded me the opportunity to watch the staff hard at work. I was truly impressed that everyone received exceptional attention, no matter what they were driving or purchasing! At no point were gentlemen pressed to stay behind the register. They frequently walked outside to assist customers with all their tire needs. They easily got in their daily recommended 10,000 steps, probably in the first 2 hours of their shift. As a woman with limited knowledge of such matters as car maintenance, I frequently feel "taken advantage of " by slick talking mechanics. However, not for one second of my multiple days of transactions did I feel this way at this location. I NEVER felt unheard, unappreciated, ignorant, talked down to, or sold something unnecessary. I can't recommend this location enough or say how MUCH I appreciate the way I was treated and the speed with which I was back behind the wheel confidently on to my next adventure. Discount Tire at 6565 W Sahara. I had been going to Discount tire every season for a couple of years to take advantage of the complimentary tire air weight checked and always remembered to Tip the person checking tires. It's a handy service and definitely one that vehicle owners should always remember to check especially going from triple digit weather to the very cold in the winter. I had downgraded my new vehicle for a 10 year old good used vehicle a couple years ago for many reasons . When I drove my sedan, I noticed a weird squealing noise every time I turned my wheels. It felt like the tires were too big for the car. I started with my normal hot to cold tire check and everything seemed ok . However since I drive very little I was going in once a month to refill the air in my tires because the tire gauge gave me a warning light. I asked the gentleman if he thought because I drive so little that the air could be escaping. It was very dark outside because of the winter days are so short. The gentleman took out his flashlight and genuinely looked throughly at each tire., he then came back with the good news and thé not so great news. The good news was since I didn't drive that much, I was welcome to come in as many times as I felt I needed air for complimentary but my tires were just old. I never knew that the heat can take it's tole on Tires just as much if not more than actual miles on the tires . I went and parked in their ample parking lot and it was an hour before closing. I figured I could get an idea of how much it was going to cost then I could make my decision later. When I went inside, I was greeted by two salesmen and the area was very clean and lit very well . They had literally two types of tires that would fit my car. One was more within my thoughts for a budget the other was uncomfortably higher so I asked what the difference would be between the two manufacturers. Both would do the trick to get me around but the more expensive tires would give me a more quiet ride. Thanking them , I told them I would think about it and get back to them. One man quietly said that if I wanted tires, I could have them put on within the last 45 minutes they were open. This ! This was music to my ears. I wouldn't have to wait a couple weeks for the tires I felt pretty set on that I needed to purchase. ( Tires and oil and water should always ready to go and never skimp on tires as they help insure safety when driving on the freeway) I first paid for the less expensive tires and as I sat there, I thought 'Why not get the more expensive tires if they would give my car a more quiet interior when driving' so I changed my mind. He refunded the initial payment and re-Rung the more expensive option. I had about 15 minutes before the shop closed. I was nervous because of a lot of things mostly because I hoped I made the correct decision. Tires are not normally an impulse item. I drove out 17 minutes later with four new balanced tires . I also felt I had driven a new car off the show room floor. My car not only had the annoying squeaky tires gone but now my car drove as smooth as butter. Wow! If I had realized this big of a driving pleasure my car would be, I would have purchased new tires when I originally purchased the car. Tires are one of the most important items NEEDED on a good working vehicle for safety . I had learned this working with many True race car owner/drivers. Confidence , safety, a quiet more enjoyable driving vehicle along with kind and knowledgeable service people made Discount Tires the best place in town for my business. The warranty that comes with the tires is excellent but the customer service and free tire checks anytime they are open makes Discount Tire my best choice. Sure I've had other vehicle service at Walmart and Costco but the confidence I had in the sales people was the same as the prices ... CHEAP. Don't hesitate to get good tires and don't hesitate to send people you care about to this business. They are definitely not a hard sell - they were knowledgeable on less expensive as well as the better tires and they truly did not try to up sell me. They gave me the facts then they told me about the benefits or differences between the tires. ( features and benefits) Benefits being what was in it for me . I'm very pleased with my choice and confidence in my safety with new tires. Always know even if tires are not in your budget, they have a line outside where they cheerfully fill up air in your tires for free. A neighbor noticed and waved me down while I was backing out of the parking spot on my rims and helped me inflate the tire enough to take it to a Discount Tire, and they fixed it for free!! Ever since then, I remembered them and it made me want to do business here. That was a different location.
