This autozone is located in mission viejo. I had come in for lug nuts as I noticed all my tires were missing one lug nut. The gal at the front was so kind and welcoming. I was not sure on the size of the nuts so she walked out to my car to be sure. The GM Miguel chipped in and said he had his torque to put on the nuts which was so kind. This was above and beyond customer service! He also let me know my stud was stripped so I should get that fixed. Overall, great experience and will definitely be back for all auto needs. Still love this place....the check engine light appeared on Christmas Day, so first thing on the 26th I came to AutoZone. They open their door promptly at 7:30am (maybe even a minute early after seeing me) and after telling them my issue, they provided me the data reader device (my term). Got reading, returned to the store and got my print out within a minute and was on my way to work in under 5 minutes. While I always hope that it is something simple that can be addressed in the store, it seldom is. In this case, with the data, I made some calls when at work and scheduled the work needed, along with assuring the recommended part was available. I came here today for three things: Spline Key Socket, Loctite, and an adhesive promoter! They are all car related products! I was only able to find the Spline Key Socket (A special socket to remove wheel lug nuts). The cashier said that they accept returns as long as I don't destroy the whole plastic packaging getting the socket out. After paying for it, and while I was at their parking lot, I made sure that it worked. Two thumbs up. Too bad they did not have the other two things that I needed. One of the guys at the cashier was actually looking for them, but no luck! The staff was very kind, friendly, and professional. The store was nice and clean. They also do speak Spanish, if anyone needs that. I guess Amazon and eBay will be my best bet! read more

I only came to this store to purchase some windshield wiper fluid, but based off my brief visit I could tell the store was well organized and items were placed based on category. The price labels are all easily readable and associated with the products on the shelves (no weird placements or messed up arrangements) so overall it seemed like a presentable store. On Amazon, the average cost for a gallon of windshield wiper fluid was $10+, whereas in the AutoZone store it's only $5. The parts manager was extremely friendly and even helped toss away some candy wrappers I had in my hand because I could not find a trash can in the main lobby area. I was in need of a battery and was going to buy the cheapest one. The clerk discouraged me from doing that and educated me on why I really should spend the extra money for a longer lasting one. I had to wait about 10 minutes after paying for Miguel (manager) to install it for me as he was busy blessing other customers that day. Great experience. Terrible. Avoid at all costs. I went to this AutoZone to buy a windshield wiper because I was driving and mine just flew off my car. My husband was out of state, and assured me that AutoZone would put the wiper on for me if I bought it - they advertise that they'll do it for free. I go in, buy the wiper, and ask for it to be put on. The guy behind the counter, Jun, tells me no. Just straight up refuses - I ended up calling my husband and putting him on speakerphone. He asked again, was denied; asked to speak to the manager, apparently Jun IS the manager. After several minutes of my husband pleading with him to have a heart, and help me get home safely in the rain by installing the wiper, Jun finally agreed. Then he had me stand in the corner for fifteen minutes before sending me out with someone - and the other employee had the wiper on my car within 15 seconds! Crazy that Jun was so difficult over such a simple thing. If you love terrible customer service, awful management, and misogyny, this is the place for you! read more

I wish I could give 5 stars but I'll go with 4 stars.  I called to make sure they were open during COVID-19 because I needed windshield wipers. I walked in and the female employee wasn't helpful. I asked her if she could help me with windshield wipers... my biggest pet peeve is when someone tells me" it's over there". If I knew I would get that response I wouldn't have even bothered asking.  Another employee jumped in to help me. He deserves 5 stars but unfortunately it's 4 stars because of the female employee. He asked me a couple of questions regarding my windshield wipers. I told him I honestly have no idea. I usually have a male figure taking care of these issues for me. He gave me several options and advice regarding the windshield wipers. I would have problem chosen the cheaper windshield wipers($15) but the advice he gave me I went with his recommendation. ($43)After I paid he helped me change my windshield wipers.  I was in and out within 5 mins.  He deserves 5 stars. He didn't have to do that for me and he did. I shopped at AutoZone Auto Parts 22942 Los Alisos Blvd. in Mission Viejo. I was looking online for two air filters for our Toyota Camry. One cabin air filter for the inside of the car that was washable. One high-flow air filter also washable to help increase horsepower & acceleration. The AutoZone in Mission Viejo had both air filters in stock. I printed the name and sizes of both filters including the price for each one. The manager was nice and friendly and got both filters for me. He allowed me to take some photos. I paid for both items at the front counter. Then I walked outside took some photos. Andrew from Autozone has atrocious customer service skills. I called as I was sitting out front because I had two sleeping kids in my car... first I couldn't get more than 3-4 words in before he didn't warn me and just put me on hold. I had to keep calling back thinking that something may have been wrong with their phones and it would happen again... finally by the 4th or 5th call I was able to get out what I needed for my vehicle. He tells me that he doesn't have my headlights (obviously didn't check) and that it is possibly a fuse. I asked how do I know and where would something like that be located, to which he answered both questions with "I don't know". I would understand that maybe he wouldn't know where my fuse are located but he definitely would be able to help me in some way... maybe check the fuse or tell me how to tell if the fuse is bad... you are a dang auto zone!! He sounded totally uninterested and I watched him through the windows as I was out front... no one in line and he clearly didn't check. My boyfriend lives in the area and has gone there for 14 years, he called because I had to drive home after he sent me there and I had explained what happened. He was pissed to say the least after hearing my experience and voila they have the headlights magically... We can easily order this stuff like fuses and headlights etc on Amazon or other sites online but I prefer to give my business to local stores, I will now be going online from now on vs EVER calling or going into this autozone again.
