Working in automotive service for a long time now, you get to learn that knowing about cars is not exclusive to male or female these days, but for many working in the business, you often encounter that the employees are just working - they don't know anything or take an passion or interest in cars and how they work. So I have dealt with both males and females who just don't know anything, and it's rather disappointing. Everyday customer are relying on their expertise. Kennia is amazing. She is thorough, detailed, and goes out of her way to help and find other solutions, proactive, when me, a little shop - is in need of something. She is very knowledgeable. It doesn't take a lot for someone to take the extra step - and it shows. She doesn't have to, but she does anyway. Too many times, these days, we all become satisfied with doing the bare minimum, and don't think about the business or where our heart is it with doing the right thing and the best job we can. There are plenty of dealerships between us and Irvine. Plenty. Yet every time we need anything Subaru-related, we willingly sign up for the I-5 traffic obstacle course because Sam is worth every mile. Most service advisors help you maintain your car. Sam somehow manages to maintain your faith in customer service. She has achieved the rare and mythical balance of being incredibly professional while also making the entire process feel like you're catching up with a friend who genuinely wants to help. Somehow, she remembers details, communicates proactively, explains things clearly, and never makes you feel like just another appointment on a calendar. At this point, if Sam switched careers and started selling hiking boots, insurance, or artisanal pickles, I'd probably at least hear her out. The truth is that trust is hard to earn, especially when it comes to vehicle service. Sam has earned ours completely. We don't drive from Oceanside to Irvine because of the dealership, the coffee, or the waiting room. We drive there because of Sam. Frank's is lucky to have her. I would not buy another car from Frank's. I went there on a recommendation…read more. Fast forward we used them to purchase out our lease. All well. But they missed the doc for my tags.. I didn't realize until I went to the DMV to renew and they told me they needed to correct it. Fast forward almost two months past and still no tags. I couldn't do anything. I didn't drive for the month they expired. I told them that after numerous calls the GM never got back to me. Until I was getting pissed. All he could say was that he was sorry and that he told me he'd talk to the owner and get back to me. That never happened !!! I left him three messages , then instead of keeping his word he handed me off to someone else... My tags expired July '26 and it's September and I still don't have them. I only asked him to throw me a bone and offer an oil service or two , probably would cost them $100.00 on a car that was $38,000. He refused and has never called me back. I will never step on that lot again or buy another Subaru for Frank's ...They showed their true customer service colors and it's pretty sad that this is what they chose to do. In the future which will be Q1 of 27 I'll purchase at the Santa Ana Subaru... You were warned !!!!!!!! I'd give no star if I could ...

He gave us the opportunity to test-drive two different vehicles and made the entire process feel comfortable and stress-free. We originally came in looking at a used 2025 Camry, but he was able to work out a much better deal for us on a brand-new 2026 Camry, which we are very happy with. I own a 2013 Lexus RX 350 I take the car here for service…read morebecause they are close to home If it wasn't for Thomas the service adviser it would be no stars 1) My service light light went on so I scheduled a service with them yesterday The night before I had trouble starting it so I had them check the Battery Sure enough they recommended a Battery and a Battery cable The other stuff they recommended i blew off I was contacted by Susan and she asked by text if I was interested in sell my car which I am She said that I could get between $11,200 and $12000 Carvana offered me $12400 but they had to reschedule so I was holding off I told her that if they matched the $12400 they could have the car She said they would get back to me I heard crickets from her Here is where the Story gets bad I pay online and I go to pick up my car and I see something in the sidewall of my tire which wasn't there before They admitted that it had to happen when they test drove it Thomas said it would take 1 1/2 hours to replace I asked for a loaner so I am not waiting for the shuttle I am two miles away and they said no and the Manager told me they were doing me a favor by replacing it Thomas to his credit offered me his personal car but I wouldn't do it as that isn't right I am going to buy a new car and because of all these things I am not going to consider Toyota or this dealership I am going to go to Honda One of the gentleman in the shuttle told me he was having trouble with his 3 month old car he purchased there I will service my Lexus here but WILL NOT BUY A TOYOTA OR LEXUS PRODUCT AGAIN AND ALL IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN WAS COMMON SENSE For the life of me I don't know why after service a lot of the settings are changed Also their car wash has been down for 2 weeks

BEWARE -- Price Changed After Approval, Then Refused to Fix It!!…read more I researched this place beforehand and saw good reviews claiming no overcharging or upselling. My experience was the opposite. I approved a battery replacement based on a written quote of $559.54. The final invoice charged me $664.54 -- $105 more, with zero explanation or approval for the increase. When I asked my Service Advisor about the difference, he told me $664.54 had been the estimate "from the beginning." I had saved the original quote, so I know that's not true -- and the online link to that original quote had conveniently already expired by the time I went looking for it. Since then, getting a refund has been a week of stalling: Fri 9/4: "Shift's ending, I'll process it tomorrow." Sat 9/5: "Manager's out for the long weekend, I'll do it Tuesday." Tue 9/8: "Just got back, swamped, I'll do it Wednesday." Wed 9/9: "Manager already left, I'll do it by end of week." I've spent about an hour a day for 4 days straight just trying to get someone to follow through. When I couldn't get anywhere with the Service Advisor, I escalated directly to the Service Manager -- twice, on two separate days, by voicemail. No callback. No response. Nothing. I even filled out their own customer satisfaction survey with the lowest possible rating, which explicitly said to contact the Service Manager for follow-up. Still silence. If you go here, get everything in writing, double-check your final invoice line by line, and don't expect anyone -- including management -- to call you back if something goes wrong. As of today, this refund is still unresolved. I'm hoping it gets sorted out soon, but I'm posting this now so others know what to expect before they hand over their car.
