I was pushed into their Basic 30,000 Mile Interval Service Package for a whopping $499.95, even though my car is at around 59,000 miles and I've been handling a lot of this stuff myself. It felt like I had no choice if I wanted anything done at all. Let's break down why this was such a rip-off. The package includes things like replacing the key fob battery at $12.00 - seriously? I can buy a pack of two Duracell CR2032 batteries online or at any store for under $5 and swap them myself in seconds. Then there's the cabin air filter at $47.45; aftermarket options are available for $15-25, and even OEM parts online go for around $20-30. The engine air filter was $29.95, which is still marked up compared to $20-ish elsewhere. I already changed both filters and the fob batteries recently, so why am I paying for duplicates? The brake fluid flush was another unnecessary add-on in this bundle. I had my brake pads replaced back in 2024, which included a flush then - no need to do it again so soon, but it's baked into the package. And what even is this "Vehicle Protection Service" tacked on? From what I can tell, it's some vague multi-point inspection or extended protection plan (like Nissan's Security+Plus), but it feels more like protection money to the mob - pay up or your car doesn't get serviced. Their brochure lists it, but it's not clear what real value it adds beyond basic checks I could do myself. Yes, I know that I could have went to a oil change business. We told her we drove all the way out (about an hour) to see that particular vehicle that Jerry's AI self texted is ready to test drive when we arrived. So we asked about another Durango that was literally parked in the front row as you pull into the dealership. She preceded to say "where?" and I even pointed telling her it's the only silver Durango out front as you walk out the front entrance doors. She said she understands but that there are a couple of them. There wasn't. Only one out front. She gave us the pricing finally on it and it wasn't in our budget. Meanwhile, she leaves to go do something and so I just wanted to find out how long the other couple had been waiting. The female mentioned a tad over an hour. I told her yeah, we were told the keys can't be located for the vehicle we were coming to see and she said they were told the same and it was a totally different car. So I ask the girl if there was a manager on site and she said yes. I asked if she could let them know we wanted to speak to them. So then she comes back with the "manager". He asks what he can help us with. I lay out all what had happened and what we were there for. So he says give him a little bit and that he's going to try and look for our vehicle. He comes back and says he tried pulling it up in the system and it wasn't found. So who the h, e, double hockey sticks is lying here!? Her, the manager, both? Anyhow I told him put yourself in our shoes. I asked him how would you like going to look at a specific vehicle you had text communication about that was an hour away with your girlfriend, wife or even by yourself? He said "or my husband". I said "ok, your husband or whomever". He said "I'm kidding". I really didn't care regardless if he was with a man. My point was over looked! I said what I said for the principle of the situation with hopes of him being relatable and making the situation not only heard but taking it in to where they make changes so it's not happening to others moving forward. Screw Clay Cooley! If I could show "zero" stars on my review, I would. Don't be suckered into giving your hard earned financials to this joke of a dealership! Also, "Am I at a club?" They gave me a great price $2700 approx. for a used Ford 6.0 diesel engine with a warranty. It included all the parts I needed and then some. Then the problem. My mechanic took a look at the motor and saw some problems. He work at Ford for many years they were not obvious problems but for him they were noticeable. So we took the heads off and the motor was blown. I called A & A right away and I have to say they were pretty mad we took the motor a part before calling them (which I can see in hind sight). They were obviously disappointed but they did exactly the most I could have expected. They arranged to have it picked up and shipped back to them and I got my money back. The absolute most you can hope for is when things go wrong is that a company will make it right and they did and that is worth 5 stars all day every day.
