I came to Taylor's today for a state inspection. I was in search of a new place e to get my inspection and I remembered my step dad used to come here when I was younger ! I wish I would have gotten more pics but I was in and out so fast that I didn't even have a chance; seriously it was less than 5 min from the time I walked into the waiting area which was nicely decked out in wood like a little saloon or something. Been here a couple times and every time has been smooth as butter. The workers are super chill and speedy which is very considerate for folks like me who are in a rush. I feel that I was in and out within 15 minutes (prob less). Plus, they have a nice and warm lounge you wait in that doubles as a mini cabin with a fireplace and magazines haha. I have always received quick, friendly service here since the 80s. Get my cars inspected and then I go to the Tarrant County courthouse and pick up my sticker. I would have given 0 stars if that were allowed. I have been using this station for years, they were always excellent. They have new staff, possibly new management. They failed my 2013 Chevy Impala for having too much tint in the driver side window. It came that way from the factory and has passed inspection for 10 years. The staff didn't know how to use the measuring equipment. I drove 5 minutes to the next inspection station and passed with no issue at all. Don't go here, you will waste your time. read more

I will not use any other inspection place, I have been coming here for three years and they are absolutely amazing! Customer service here is top notch, I have never met more friendly associates at a car place than here. This year, one of the associates noticed my insurance card had my VIN listed incorrectly which no one else noticed I 3 years. He also cleaned my gas cap so my inspection would pass because it failed the first time. He could've easily failed my car and sent me to buy a new cap. Taylor's State Inspection came highly recommended on Yelp and among friends. The setup is very interesting where the customers wait in their vehicle like a drive-through until their car is to be inspected. It took me about 15 minutes with 2 cars ahead of me before I was able to wait inside the nicely air-conditioned waiting room. The whole process was extremely efficient and it was ready when I got out of the extremely chilled bathroom.
