It is pretty easy to order parts online now a days but in most cases Ramjet has them at the same prices and you dont have to pay shipping or wait to get them. They are open to 7 pm most nights and open on Sundays. I do all of my wrenching in the evenings and weekends so this is really helpful. The owner and his staff are also very active in the community. They go to all of the local car shows and cruise ins and I have ran into their staff out and about town. They are the same nice car folks outside the shop as inside. I recommend stopping into Ramjet speed shop next time you need a performance auto part and want great service, great selection and competitive prices.

I purchase a oil filter housing unit from them a year ago with a lifetime warranty and in the urgency of needing it replaced had to purchase another oil filter housing unit closer to the dealership to have it installed right away. Austin could have been pushy and denied me getting my money for the used part however he worked with me and honoured getting my money back with my year old receipt and gained a life long customer for his great customer service.

Had a transmission replaced among other repairs. Had issues with it jerking and causing high revs…read moreright out the door. Thought it was strange being new. Did not want to take it back and cause another month on top of the two months they had it at their shop. Turns out there was crystal clear water inside my electrical connection that my wiring harness was plugged into. I sopped up the water and fixed it myself. Also had the ac replaced but it doesn't work. Never did. They said it was my fault it was leaking because of some prior damage to the front end. Why even replace it if they knew it wouldn't work? I don't recommend them and it's true they think they are hot poop in this industry and it's true they are hot poop.

So much for the laws preventing these kind of fees $900 in mandatory (unwanted) accessories and $700 in prep fees. $1600 to vacuum, wash the car, and send paper work to DMV? $24500 magically turns into $26100. Nice looking place and several friendly folks working here, but I sadly can't recommend them…read more There's two main reasons for this, first being the inconsistent customer experience and the second being the value proposition of their services. On the customer experience side, it's been hot and cold for me. Some folks here are extremely helpful, while others seem to have thinly veiled contempt for the customers. I don't understand why businesses operate that way, and I'm not going to name anyone, but I abhor inconsistent experience when calling and walking into a place. On the services side of things, not to be too reductionist, but it comes down to cost and warranty, and I found this shop not measuring up to the competition, even chain outfits. I love to support independent and small companies but when the price is nearly triple the nearest chain shop and comes with less than half the warranty, it gives me pause. I'm looking to support the little guy, but not to get fleeced. Parts markup here is ridiculous even by modern shop standards. Heck, even compared to other independent shops and dealerships, it's over the top. They're very proud of the parts when they sell them to you, but the short warranty tells me they're either installing junk or haven't got faith in the quality of their labor. Not sure which is worse. Do yourself a huge favor and shop around before you commit to this place. You will be floored by how much of a difference in price and warranty coverage you get elsewhere. As I said, the value proposition just doesn't add up for me. If you point out the sky high prices, expect a dose of attitude from the counter guys. When a shop tells you, "I don't care if you buy it from me or not," it tells you everything you need to know. Sorry but this place is a hard pass for me. I did business here a few times but knowing what I do now, I won't return again. It's just not a good value, and they can't handle criticism about that.
