Talk about service!!!!! Every time I come into this place, the entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always looking to help. I'm headed up to Northern Arizona for a hunting trip this afternoon, I just found out that the battery in my ATV is dead- Long story short: after a quick drive in and discussion- I'm ready to go... bad new is- Kawasaki made this battery installation incredibly difficult!!!! I looked at the staff and said "guys I really need somebody's help". Ricardo WITHOUT Hesitation raised his hand and joyfully helped me install the battery!! At this point, I'd rather fumble through some of my own repairs with the staffs assistance save the money and get things done quicker anyway!! 2 things. A company that stands behind their promise and staff that take excellent care of the client. What a crap night we had. Birthday night dinner followed by truck not starting. Had to get home to get a gas can and multimeter to come back and trouble shoot ...2 dead batteries in our diesel truck. A wonder the thing lasted this long. We took them out and ran over to O'Reilly to buy 2 new replacement batteries. These O'Reilly batteries were marked 9/15 so we thought for sure no warrantee. Jeff and Mackinnley were so friendly. They immediately knew we were bringing in batteries for a dually truck as we had 2 battery cores with us. They quickly looked up our battery purchase and informed us that we were getting 2 free battery replacements! What?!?!? 2 FREE batteries in Arizona? Score! Broke down on the 303 on the evening of March 23rd. My alternator belt broke off as we were driving. The tow truck dropped us off at O'reilly and they had the belt I needed for my Toyota Highlander. I was able to borrow two sockets and a ratchet to get my car fixed. They even gave me a jump start to get back on the road so I could get my kids back to the hotel we were staying at. My engine light has been turning off and on for a week. Came here a few days ago and an employee was able to try and check it for me although it was off at the time. Came in today since it was finally on again and had to leave my car running as I went in the store to ask for help. A different employee approached me and handed me the device and blobbed non sense like I knew what I was suppose to do and told me to check it myself because of COVID and walked away. This O'reilly's store is amazing. Today I took my 2016 Dodge Journey in for a battery issue. The battery on this vehicle is inside the fender which requires the fender guard to be taken off to access the battery. Kevin the manager was extremely helpful with this and said he would help me replace the battery. I couldn't speak higher about this store and the experience I had today. Lithos morning I went to the O'Reilly's on Lake Pleasant and Happy Valley. I stopped by to have them check my battery. Turns out one side was completely corroded. The connector was totally ruined, I thought I was going to have to get my car towed somewhere to have it fixed. The manager Albert, went completely out of his way to get it off, it took him about 20-30 minutes to finally get it off and even needed assistance from another employee. He replaced it for me, got me a new battery and I was on my way! I offered to tip him since they don't charge for labor, but he wouldn't take it. We always get our car batteries from there and will continue to give them our business! All the staff there was so nice and extremely helpful this morning! read more

I have been coming here for years because I had such a great experience with the customer service from Gary David, and Cody, Judy and the regular crew. They have recently hired some terrible crew members that have crotchety old attitudes, know nothing about their products and are poor at dealing with customers. Despite that I still go here. I know enough that I don't need a counter person's knowledge but if you are someone that does need help, ask for Gary or Cody, David or either of the 2 ladies' help. They are orders if magnitude better at their job than the awful new manager or the two cranky old timers. read more

I first visit to this location was for a battery replacement. They told me that they could not pro-rate it because it was not their battery. I later found the O'Reilly receipt showing the battery purchase. They also installed the wrong battery (according to Costco AND my dealership). When confronted they actually argued that it was the right battery even though it was half of the size of the original! Today, I tried to purchase new windshield wiper blades. When they did not fit, I went back to get the right ones. Once again they argued that they were correct, even though the clips were visibly different. In a failed attempt to prove me wrong, they attached it incorrectly to the motor arm even though the instructions had a diagram showing that this was an incorrect installation. Even after I showed them the proper installation technique using the original blade, they continued to argue that they were the correct blades. Wow, really?. If you care about your car, I recommend avoiding this business. read more

I have been going to the O'Reilly auto parts store for over 5 years now on 9809 West Happy Valley Road Peoria, AZ 85383. Last night at 7:30 pm (5/6/13) my battery died yet again in my car. I purchased it from O'Reilly about 3 years ago an had it replaced about 14 months ago with a new battery from O'Reilly's. I took it out of my car and brought it in, expecting to have a quick check on the battery and replaced like it's always been. To my dismay the employee said he needed to attempt to charge the faulty battery for 30 minutes while I waited in the store. I complained that this was never done ever in the past and he stated this is always how it was done. Since the employee did not value my time over his, I was forced to wait while they attempted to charge my faulty battery. After 30 minutes he checked the battery again...and determined it was indeed faulty. He grabbed a new battery from the shelve and informed me it would be $55... I complained that the last battery did not last the 24 months and it was under replacement. The employee informed me that the warranty was from the original date of purchase and prorated afterward. After explaining that he wasted over a half of hour of my time and other retailers such as Costco allow the warranty period to restart when you get a new replacement...he didn't seem to care. He actually told me, "well you should of bought it at Costco then". At that point I took my old battery back and left the store. For a company that prides itself on customer service...I could not of been found at that store that night. I ended up purchasing a new battery at Costco. Even though it cost me more upfront, I consider it a learning experience. The employee's at that branch were not interested in service, only sales. If truly this is the way the treat long time customers, I will find another parts supplier that treats there customers with the respect they deserve. read more

Seems like this store has been going down hill over the past few years. Today takes the cake for cruddy service. As I pulled up there was one employee removing wiper blades from another customers car. I walked in and went to the back of the store to grab an oil filter. I found the filter and started my wait at the counter to check out. I could see and hear the other employees sitting in the back shooting the bull. Meanwhile the employee from the parking lot came in and found the wipers needed for his customers car and cashed her out and headed out the door to install them. Nothing was said by him to me or other employees about another customer in the store waiting at the counter. So while I waited and waited I decided to go to Autozone. I left the filter on the counter and left without anyone saying a word to me. read more
