The day I brought my car to him, it was raining so he suggested we not try top speeds in the rain and asked if I could leave the car with him. The next day he text me immediately to update me on the condition of the car and what needed to be done. One issue was the front tires needed replacing (they don't do tires) so he gave me recommendations on where to get cost effective replacements and advised me on other possible replacements. When I inquired around what could wait vs. immediate needs he was transparent and told me what was a now fix even if it didn't put money in his pocket (like the tires). I'd definitely trust him with any future work. He seems to care more about your safety than just making a buck. Never tried to upsell me on anything and explained each step. Transparent. Ethical. I told my regular mechanic and he screamed. Oh btw, he also charged me an extra $100 to take a look at what I believe he broke, but denied he did. My car never emitted smoke before him but anyone who owns a BMW knows once your engine valve has been opened you basically need to replace the gasket and likely the cover. All that said, I could be wrong and it's all a coincidence. Just go to the dealership and if it's too expensive there find a regular mechanic. DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY!
