Phone number - call for address

I got a flat tire on the horse trailer while we were up showing at Capital Challenge. These guys were fantastic! Fixed it fast, reasonable price, super nice! The only thing is the address was wrong but once I found the place it was perfect.

Quick and easy service. Polite staff which is hard to find in this area! Some of the best prices in the area too.

The guy helping me tried to add on additional services like filters, a new battery ( this one is 2yrs old ) and flushing the radiator. I appreciated his pointing these things out after I showed him my car had failed inspection for an issue w/ a problem with #4 cylinder and some other things . I declined everything and just went with the oil changed and an additional $4 dollar charge to top off radiator fluid which I thought was part of the $117.00 charge. * no tires checked , no vacuuming, no windows cleaned - noted bc Jiffy Lube does this or at least they used to . Anyway .... The real problem was their card reader couldn't read my debt card. After numerous attempts, and 2 different ppl trying to help, I called my bank . I was on the phone with them for a while and they couldn't see any problem on their end . Unfortunately I didn't bring anything with me except my license and debt card and after what felt like an eternity I finally walked over to Home Depot and bought a lanyard and got cash back . I walked back over and the manager took my payment and she apologized and said they have problems with other cards too . If that's the case they really need to address it or at least let ppl know in advance, post it on their advertising maybe . Fortunately I was off yesterday otherwise I'd have been pissed wasting over an hour there. I think I'll stick with jiffy lube in the future .

At this time (June 25th), I was informed that my engine was no longer viable--a fact that was not disclosed to me during either visit, despite extensive diagnostics and repairs. On June 13, I was charged $875.64 for a range of services including ignition coil replacement, synthetic oil change, and tire rotation. Then, on June 23, I returned due to continued issues and was charged an additional $396.42 for a valve cover gasket replacement, which would supposedly address the engine issue. The technician noted oil in the spark plugs and a leak from the valve cover gasket, yet failed to inform me that these symptoms likely indicated a more serious engine failure. Had I been properly informed of the engine's condition during the first visit--or even the second--I would not have authorized further repairs. The lack of transparency and failure to diagnose the core issue resulted in unnecessary expenses and lost time. Save your time and money and choose a different mechanic. I am utterly disappointed after patronizing this shop for the last two years. Do better.

The problem with this ,however, is that we had to wait a whole other hour (so 4 hours in total) for them to tell us that it couldn't be done. This could have been done in 5 minutes. At the start of the night roughly a half hour after we arrived we made an appointment (including putting down a deposit). Seeing as we waited 4 hours for nothing, but they told us the tires were in stock, we decided to go back the next morning, as we should have had a 8 AM appointment. When we got there they said our appointment had not "come through". We had started talking to the manager at this point and she came up with the excuse that since they technically close at 6 PM on Thursday, even if on every platform it is advertised to close at 8, and they were more than happy to keep us there until 10 PM, the appointment had not been made. This is strange, as we had gotten a confirmation and it willingly accepted our deposit. The manager then told us the tires were not available and had to be ordered, which directly contradicted what we had been told last night. She then spent about 30 minutes "looking" for these tires, which allowed all the other 8 AM appointments to arrive and check in. She finally came back and said she could do it but refused to give us a time frame. We arrived at 8:01. She wanted us to leave the car the whole day, for something that realistically should not take this long. Having made an appointment and been there the night before the should have at least been able to get us in within an hour and a half. She, however, said probably 3 hours. After this we asked for our deposit back and left. As we were driving out of the parking lot the manager walked outside and was quite literally yelling at us as we left "YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES" after we decided to leave. While waiting in line, we heard multiple other people complain about similar things, along with one lady having the same issue with the manager, as she would tell people things that she would later not honor at all.

I guess many dictionaries have the wrong definition of the word reservation because many places are…read moredoing the opposite of that definition. Merriam-Webster has the word reservation defined as "an arrangement to have something (such as a hotel room) held for one's use." Either way a reservation is much like an appointment, booking, or a commitment. Well, NTB has a new spin on reservation. Background is that my tire caught some nails and with them being new tires I just decided to replace the one that had an issue. I do have warranty for road debri punctures but what do you know that tire place I have the warranty from is not in this area to replace the tire. The first time I made an appointment I get a call from NTB saying that they did not want me waiting long for the confirmed 8AM appointment. I asked them why is there a wait for one tire when I have a 8AM spot secured and that is the time they open. Basically, they did not have enough technicians which makes me wonder why they just did not set the limit or close off the 8AM time slot. I was told it might turn into an all day thing. All day? All day for one tire at a place called NTB Tire and Service. The main job they do is in the title of NTB (National Tire and Battery. I just went ahead and cancelled and setup another date. I scheduled another date once again for 8AM on another Saturday morning. Once again, I get a call saying that they just wanted to let me know plenty of people made 8AM appointments. WTF? Why do you keep accepting appointments and you cannot get to everyone? Then the audacity to say make sure you show up early so we can get to you first. Appointment made at 8AM. NTB opens at 8AM. What is the problem here? I am first. So, I had reservations, see what I did there, after clearly seeing they are unable to manage time. You know one of the simplest things when it comes to one's job and basically life to be aware of time and one's responsibilities. The leery part came when the guy tried to up sale on me saying "You should really get four new tires since your vehicle is all wheel drive. First of all what does that have to do with anything. Second, all the tires only have about 5K miles on them. Then my vehicle is not an all-wheel drive vehicle, and did you not listen to me for what I came here for? A single tire. An obvious mistake and the desire to sell you something that you do not need makes you question do they look at you as customer or as a fool. If you are waiting for the service to finish it is funny because the employees will come into the waiting area and as "You know your car is ready?" No, I did not know that and how would I know that. Not the best experience. First time at this tire place and I am tired of it already.

Before making the trip, I spoke with the dealership multiple times over the phone to confirm the price. I was explicitly told that $20,000 was the out-the-door price, including taxes and fees, and I even received an email confirming those terms in writing. Based on that agreement, my family and I drove 2 1/2 hours each way to the dealership, expecting them to honor the price they had repeatedly confirmed. Instead, after we arrived, we were told there had been a "misunderstanding" between three employees and that the actual price would be about $3,000 higher than what we had agreed to. Even after showing them the email confirming the $20,000 out-the-door price, they continued to insist it was simply an internal misunderstanding. As a customer, that's not an acceptable explanation. Internal communication issues should never become the customer's problem especially after a deal has been confirmed multiple times over the phone and then put in writing. We invested five hours of driving, along with fuel and time, only to find that the dealership would not honor the agreement they made. This was also my first experience financing a vehicle through a dealership, and unfortunately it left me feeling misled and extremely disappointed. Buying your first car should be an exciting milestone, not an experience where you question whether a written agreement will actually be honored. I understand that mistakes happen, but when a dealership makes a commitment in writing, customers should be able to trust that commitment. Instead of taking responsibility for the error, we were simply told it was a misunderstanding and expected to pay thousands more than the agreed-upon price. I hope Nissan of Bowie improves its communication and pricing practices so future customers don't have to go through the same experience. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership.

I spent 2 hours and 40 minutes there, only to be informed at checkout that the part needed for the recall wasn't available and I would need to come back at a later date. I'm struggling to understand why this wasn't identified when I initially scheduled the appointment or at the very least when the service started. Additionally, it's frustrating that this wasn't communicated before I was sold on the extra work. To make matters worse, after leaving the shop, I realized I hadn't been given the warranty card for the new tires I purchased. I had to turn around and spend another 30 minutes retrieving it, which only added to the frustration of an already disappointing experience. I took time off work to be there, and now I have to figure out how to take more time off to address an issue that should have been resolved today. I don't believe it should fall on me to confirm the availability of parts before an appointment, and I'm very upset about how this was handled. How do I trust Toyota of Bowie in the future for service or sales? To make matters worse, the receipt had a big note on it that if I had issues, I should email the service manager Edbyn Lopez- I did and haven't even had the courtesy of of a response in a week, so I'm posting here. Beware Toyota Bowie service....
