My daughter and granddaughter went to Auto Zone to get a 2nd opinion on my granddaughter's car. She was told that she needed a new alternator, which is quite expensive. An employee by the name of Maurice came out to the car, popped the hood, and used a tool to check the Alternator. He said, "No, it isn't that". Then Maurice went and got the tool to check the battery, and yes, it was the battery! The battery that was recommended cost more than we wanted to spend, but Maurice took the time to explain why this particular battery would better suit my granddaughters needs. So, I said, fine, let's get that battery. Another employee, Eli, went to my car and installed the battery for my granddaughter (at no additional charge). The manager, Robert, had observed all this and offered a discount! Yay! I saved $50, and I so appreciate the great staff at Auto Zone!! I even asked Eli about a small problem I was having with my Explorer. He knew exactly what it was before I finished the story! I will definitely go back to this establishment, and all of these employees gave excellent customer service. read more

Today, Robert and Chris were my heroes! After my battery died unexpectedly, I went to AutoZone where Robert installed my new battery. Later in the day, I went back to recycle my old battery. Unfortunately, when I attempted to leave, my car didn't start. Robert immediately came out to see if there was an problem with the new battery. Long story short, there was nothing wrong with the battery. Robert then went and got Chris. Determined not to leave me stranded, these two wonderful men identified the problem as being a blown fuse. I had a wonderful experience last Friday at the AutoZone on Nut Tree & Alamo. the gentleman who helped me was Scott, I purchased a car battery, he got me tbe lowest price with my military discount, and swapped it out. We discovered that it was a side post instead of a terminal. He was able to locate one he had in stock, same price and replace it. Did I mention that I got there 10 mins prior to them closin? long story short. Scott was friendly, knowledgeable and a nice young man. I appreciate his service and will shop at that AutoZone again. I owe a HUGE thank you to the store manager, Paul Wiley, who helped me with a damage swap on my car battery today. I bought a car battery at this store in 2021, and the battery died on me today. After calling AAA and having them come out to the parking lot I was stranded in, they told me battery was dead (can't fix it) and AutoZone might have a warranty on it. I went back this store at 779 E Monta Vista and Paul Wiley, the manager, took care of me right away. He scanned the battery, told me there was a warranty, and was able to get me a new battery in a matter of minutes. The only problem is this store did not have the battery I needed, so Paul reserved one at the Fairfield store for me and I went to pick it up there. NO COST TO ME! Paul Wiley is amazing with his knowledge, speed of service and helpfulness calling other stores to get what I needed today. Thanks! I will be a repeat customer every time!!! read more

I was recently stuck and stranded in Vacaville my car battery died plus and I had a nail in my tire. I had all four of my kids with me as well! DJ was the gentleman that helped me out. he gave me a ride to my vehicle to jump the battery and was able to assist me with what we needed to fix my tire and able to get me through the process everyone in the store was incredibly helpful and attentive if I got stuck anywhere I'm glad it was here grateful for all of the employees. read more

He and the rest of the staff was helpful. Sean was able to answer any questions and helped me make a decision on which brand to get. I got amazing customer service here tonight! I stopped by for windshield wipers and oil. Christian, who I believe is a manager, helped me. He figured out what my vehicle uses, brought me to where things were, explained the differences and pros/cons, and after I paid he came out to my car and changed my wiper blades and checked/filled the oil! While he was doing this we had a great conversation about some issues I'm having with my car, and he really knows his stuff. Easily the best trip to an auto parts store EVER. I highly recommend.
