This is the second time I've gone to this AutoZone and put been unable to purchase anything. First time I came in. The guy told me he was gonna come help me with some paint. He never showed up. I end up just leaving. Here is my second time there's 20 people in line seems like nobody that works or knows what they're doing. None of the machines work they tell me self check out open. Very poor customer service. Auto Zone offers a service where they put your wipers on for you. However when we bought wipers from them, there was not a single employee insight. One of them even ignored us as we tried to get his attention. If we're having to do their job for them, then they've already messed up. Store # 2832 the store manager Brian Seminar assisted my husband with changing a battery, during this they got locked out of the car, but Brian went above and beyond assisting my husband with getting the car open. This store is a joke, they try and scam you into buying a new battery. I took my battery for free charge & first they couldn't find it ? So I followed him to it !! The only one there then he put on orange rubber gloves said it was way over charged & I needed new one . They had put a piece of paper that had been spray painted green like it came out of the battery . Idiot didn't know I was a mechanic for 50yrs and had just opened the caps to check & refill cells w/ distilled clear water ( nothing green here folks !!! ) what a SCAM !!!! Better biz should know about this side hustle & probably reselling perfectly good batter too !!! M/F'rs I brought it home fully charged 14.6 ready for action . I have had good and bad experiences here, but TODAY was great. They came outside and tested my battery, he actually took the time to take off both terminals to be sure the reading we were getting was correct. Answered all my questions and gave me an OBD print out with the scan codes that popped up. Like with all retail there is a lot of employee going in and out, so if you had a bad experience before come give them another shot. read more

I walked in and one man who was an EMPLOYEE was NOT even wearing a mask while talking to a customer. He went in the back and I heard him coughing profusely and then he came back still with NO mask on. Also, when I first walked in, one of the ladies who work there had her mask off too hanging on one ear while there were customers in the store. Ridiculous at this point... come on. What is up with the women in this store? They are terrible. Maybe they feel they have something they need to prove working in an autoparts store, I don't know, but they really need to get over themselves. Not sure how many are there, but one is very condescending and feels the need to question everything brought to the counter. The other one I have seen is not as bad. Perhaps they have a script they are suppose to follow for each customer. But you know what, it gets annoying. I can comfortably say that probably 90% of the customers do actually know what we want and need. Can you just frickin let us buy it???!!!! The men however are great. No issue there. Summary: If this is the closest store to you, like it was for me, I'd recommend driving a little further. Don't think I've ever had a complaint about an auto parts store before. I was looking for an item and after a search for said item from an overly-cocky, ignorant employee it was determined that they didn't have it in stock. I said okay I'll just get it somewhere else. He said I wouldn't be able to find it anywhere else because it's "such a rare" part. I knew it wasn't so made a call and the next place I called had it. That kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Sadly, I needed low beam headlights and went back because it was close to where I was. I picked out my low beams and went to purchase them from the same employee I dealt with before. In my head I said "here we go." He said I "absolutely needed" bulb grease and when I insisted I didn't want to pay for it and didn't need it he argued with me. I said whatever I'll just pay for it so I can get out of here before I blow up on this overly-cocky, ignorant parts guy. I'm a mechanic by the way and know what I'm talking about. Horrible service. Sign in front of two products said "2 for $8". I chose those two. Total was $10 plus tax so I asked about the promotion. After looking at small item numbers the rep said one of the items I chose wasn't part of the promotion. Convo went like this: Me: I chose the two right behind the promo signs. Rep: that's not part of the promotion. Me: you should move the signs then success they're in front of the wrong items. Rep: well, that's why we put up the signs so you should read them. Came here for a quick fix for my broken headlight (late (90s Volvo). The guys were nice but kept me waiting for a little bit. One cashier was seriously helping another customer while the other was chatting it up with one of his friends that came in earlier. Good thing I was in no rush. The helpful rep wrapped up what he was doing with his customer and came to help me as quick as he could while the other didn't seem to care. He found my part really quick, but forgot to tell me the pack of two was only $5 more (1 pack was $14.99). He rang me up fast and I went on about the rest of my day. I'm a big fan of Autozone, this store is a disgrace. I called to verify a part was in stock, asked the associate to verify that it was and was told the it was in stock. I drive 45 mins out of the way to be told the item was not in stock. They don't actually check to see if the items are there, the manager named Danny is a joke, he's rude and unhelpful just to make you leave as soon as possible. Don't count on your part being there if they say it is. I've never been to an autozone that at least didn't try and help you find it if they didn't have it. read more

Called the store to get a rotor swapped out under warranty, they sent me to Main St, said they had it in stock. Went to Main St., no rotor, called Telephone to get one sent over, no problem, they said it would be there by Tuesday at 1:00pm. Showed up at Telephone Rd on Tuesday at 8:00pm, no rotor, did not know what I was talking about. Rotor fell off the counter on my foot, asked for a paper towel or rag because my foot was bleeding, offered no help and was told they don't know anything about the rotor. Showed them receipt, and finally got rotor re-ordered, then received paper towels for my foot after third ask. Very disappointed in customer service, and no care for this 50lb piece of metal falling on my foot and me bleeding in the store. I shop here all the time, live about 5 minutes away, but no more. read more

As I was driving down Northbank two days before Christmas and it was raining, all of a sudden my driver's side windshield wiper flew off! Luckily, I could turn at Montgomery and get to AutoZone at Telephone and Petit. The clerk was very helpful and I purchased two new wipers. I went in to buy windshield wipers about 30 minutes before they closed, and I was approached immediately upon walking in and asked if I needed help finding anything. The guy was able to look up my car and tell me exactly what size I needed and proceeded to walk me over to where all the wipers were. Both of the guys working were extremely helpful. I walked back to my car to realize that my car wouldn't start, I walked back into the store to ask if they could help me figure anything out.. Without hesitation, Oscar offered to run a battery test and asked if I wanted the starter and alternator checked as well. He stayed out there with me running as thorough tests as possible and discovered it was in fact my starter. I really appreciate the time that he took to help me out considering it was basically closing time and I'm sure he wanted to get home. Amazing customer service!
