Be careful when ordering from Uber Eats. Pictures shows beautiful hero style bread and thick awesome looking sandwiches. I received 2 thin slices of standard bread, 2 slices of tomato, 1 slice of standard cheese, and 2 thin slices of cucumber for $11+. It didn't taste bad, just way below marketing and expectation. I figured I'd order dinner for later at the same time. I received a pre-packed cold, microwavable Chicken Franchise for $15.00. No pasta, no bread. Just cold chicken. When you order from Uber eats, you expect a ready to eat full meal or as they put it in the menu Entrée Please add pictures of each item to the Uber menu or clear descriptions that say, microwavable. Allow bread selections on sandwiches or something to avoid disappointment of what is described and what is received. If I could put this review on Uber I would but Uber shows Yelp reviews to help us select so, it's the only fair option. This is no reflection on the experience at the restaurant. which appears to be highly rated. I have never been there.

Hey Panini, don't you be a meanie.... and not get a panini from here because they're delicious. I recommend the Chicken Parm and the Chicken Pesto Paninis. They're so warm, which is perfect for a cold CT day. Today I tried the avocado and cheddar sandwich and it was a true vegetarian delight. Their salads from here are also light, simple, and quite tasty. Can't wait to continue to support this business.

This is probably my favorite local breakfast / lunch spot to splurge on, but do not come here if you are in ANY sort of rush. The employees at the Westport location are incredibly kind and there is great variety in the specialty food offerings. We will definitely return !

Aux Delices is a small chain of restaurants in Fairfield County, CT, with outposts in Darien, Greenwich, Riverside and Westport. It's Westport location is the former home of Arcudi's, a small family-style Italian and pizza restaurant. The decor is significantly upgraded from the Arcudi era and features both a take-away cantina/market section and a small bistro-style dining area inside and a number of outside tables in the style of a Paris sidewalk cafe for fair weather dining. The staff is attentive and eager to please, the service thoughtful if still learning some of the ropes of serving and the dining experience is quite pleasant. The menu focuses on fresh, in-season foods with a French twist in their preparation, and both our salads and our main courses were pleasant and well-balanced meals - not the fussiest food, as with bistros, but quite flavorful with decent portions and very fresh. Both my wife's cod dish and my own snapper dish were quite good, though in the spirit of a bistro, just sophisticated enough. The wine list is limited and French-oriented but with good selections and some offbeat choices that were quite interesting. Desserts were yummy, not over-delicate but presented nicely and definitely satisfying. The tab was a little high for relatively simple fine food - single glasses of wine in the $10-11 range, entrees about $24-28 - but we got out the door at a price that was about comparable to other upscale-but-not-over-the-top restaurants in the area, so no complaints overall. I know that Joe Arcudi had said that the rent was getting pretty exorbitant for this space, so that may be a factor. We'd definitely give it a second go, and probably a third or so if the dishes keep getting interesting. Fun without being too precious, intimate without being stuffy, a bit trendy but with lots of traditional touches that remind me of a true Bistro experience without being too overbearing. There are more everyday foods for the kids, too, but come prepared to try to enjoy a nice adult spot designed to appeal to all ages looking for a fresh experience. If I were them I'd knock the prices down about five or seven percent to sync the quality to the food with the quality of the experience, but for an occasional splurge we'll bite.

High quality, high-ish prices, variable service. Nice choice for a coffee or quick lunch alternative to Starbucks or that type of place.

The portions are quite generous. Now for the food. We started with Moroccan Cigars; Merguez wrapped in phyllo, very yummy. I had the Eggs Sophie; crispy potato latkes, smoked salmon, top with sunny side eggs and a small salad. The Avocado Toast with sunny side eggs, feta cheese on a multigrain toast was delicious. Shakshuka ( regular or spicy) careful with the spicy, eggs, peppers, feta, cilantro with stewed tomatoes was equally delicious. The Schnitzel and waffles delicious, copious serving. No room for desert. They have a full bar. There a children's menu. Definitely will go back.

STAY AWAY: An Insult to Israeli Cuisine and Common Sense…read moreRating: 0/5 Stars As an Executive Chef and an Israeli citizen, I am rarely speechless, but "Blondit" managed to achieve a level of stupidity beyond comprehension. Let's start with the name. In Hebrew, blondinit is often used as a derogatory shorthand for a shallow, vacuous, or "clueless" woman. It is incredibly fitting that the owners chose this name, as it perfectly reflects the restaurant's operational philosophy: total, unadulterated ignorance. The entire experience was an exercise in deception. This isn't just a bad kitchen; it's a "fake" restaurant. They have no understanding of the ingredients they are handling or the culture they claim to represent. The menu is a work of fiction. What you order is never what arrives because the kitchen staff clearly doesn't know what they are making or selling. The "Food": A Culinary Disaster * The "Cigars": The menu promised delicate Moroccan cigars in crisp phyllo dough. What arrived were heavy, leaden, grease-soaked eggrolls. * The Lamb Burger: This was a masterclass in how not to cook. The meat was over-processed to the point of having the texture of "guppy poop" and was salted so heavily it was borderline toxic. * The Halloumi Fiasco: They topped the burger with Halloumi--a squeaky, salty cheese that does not melt. Placing a cold, rubbery slab of salt on top of an already oversalted, mushy patty shows a fundamental lack of basic culinary knowledge. The Environment: A Health Hazard If the food wasn't insulting enough, the atmosphere was stomach-turning. While I was attempting to navigate the inedible mess on my plate, there were kids vomiting in the dining area. Multiple children were getting sick, and the staff acted as if it were a routine occurrence. No one cared, no one rushed to clean it properly, and no one seemed concerned about the obvious health risks. I should have taken the vomiting children as a warning sign. I left the restaurant feeling ill and ended up getting violently sick from the few bites I actually managed to swallow. This place is an embarrassment to Israeli hospitality. It is fake food run by people with zero understanding of cooking. Save your money, save your stomach, and stay far away from this disaster. I will never return.

A very generous portion, especially to share. We then ordered a large pie, half with just cheese, the other half eggplant. Delicious. Nice and thin very good tasting crust, undercarriage held up, and the pizza not at all oily or greasy. I had a freshly brewed ice tea which was great.
