After about 90 minutes, we were asked to leave, even though I could see at least five empty tables and open space at the bar. There was no prior notice or effort to accommodate us elsewhere. The person who claimed to be the manager handled the situation poorly, which was surprising and frustrating given my past positive experiences. I do want to say that our server was very kind, professional, and attentive throughout the meal--this was not their fault at all. Sadly, the way the situation was handled by management left a bad impression, and I won't be returning.

I had the 'bacon egg and cheese' and asked for it on sourdough. They willingly obliged and made a scrumptious sandwich that was VERY filling! They offer coffees that rank in the top among famous store brands. I am thrilled to have found a place to go without having to make alterations to menu items. Then a friend of ours recommended Redding Roasters, we bought a pound to try out, and we never stopped. It's a bi-monthly event now, we stop in (OK, my husband stops in most of the time. I work a lot and don't usually have opportunities to go myself), pick up two pounds of single-origin beans, and find the will to keep going. Even though my office has free coffee, I bring my own from home. I can't be without it! And the people there are so wonderful! They're all very personable and when I get the time to stop in I love chatting with them. The selection is great, the people are great, supporting a local business is great. I hope they stick around for decades more.
