Searching through my texts, trying to find the repair company that helped us last. But sadly it could not be found. I was hesitant but decided to jump on Yelp request for some quotes. Literally 10-20 seconds later about 7 companies tried contacting me. Its was a bit overwhelming but reassuring at the same time. I began engaging with these companies through text. Sent the pictures of damage, gave garage details, and requested a quote. There was a lot of run around but 1 company stood out. Palms Garage Doors. They were able to provide a solid quote and got a technician out to the house in about 2 hours. To our surprise a 6'10 technician Illiya pulls up. Sorry if I butchered the spelling of your name. He looked at the damage and assured that this would be the same price they provided through text and proceeded to fix. It took him about 30-45 min to change which was super fast and at that he provided great customer service. At the end of the service he offered to give a free estimate for replacing the whole garage. He gave it a look provided a price and proceeded to thank us and go about his day. All around great experience. Good price, fast service, and great customer communication. Thank you!

I determined it was the spring. My previous garage door spring lasted 9+ years! This time Jack replaced it with 2" springs vs 1.5" which is supposed to be double the cycles. Best part is that he showed up in less than an hour and fixed it in about 30 minutes. He also did some other minor maintenance things and resolved an annoying thud sound with a quick diagnose. A quick 2-minute phone call and an appointment was scheduled for 2 days later. Dru, the technician, was highly professional and texted me when he was on his way for the repair. He took the time to walk me through the issue, why it happened, and what his fix will be. About 45 minutes later and my garage door was working as good as new. The price was surprisingly low compared to what I expected based on google search (probably $50 - $150 less than others). Normally I rate a business highly if they successfully meet 2 of 3 following criteria: Price, Quality, and Speed. Dru and KJ's successfully met all 3 of these criteria. They were fast, cheap, and did a great job which probably tells me they can raise their prices 10-20% and still make folks very happy. Nice job KJ'S Garage and Dru. Larry was knowledgeable, honest, and genuine! He made sure we were taken care of even though he wasn't making a dime from the visit.
