3 piece chicken dinner (less one piece)

Bone-in chicken dinner with potatoes and gravy and hot honey chicken sandwich with fries. All the food came out freshly prepared and steaming hot. Good serving sizes for the price The flavors were fine. "Thoroughly unobjectionable," as we say in our family. Nothing bad, just no "wow" for either one of us. I do think you should give it a try to decide for yourself.

Box sizes and to-go orders don't really have a good presentation or fit with the amount of food you normally get while dining in at the restaurant. But Burg and Barrel has it down. Everything travels very well. And they are good at ensuring they have the right boxes for the right items. Venting in place to keep the fries (or tots) from steaming up and getting soggy. Boxes that are big enough for the full sandwich and a full order of fries. Snagged a beer while I waited and didn't even make it all the way through before the bartender showed up with our to-go order. Then speaking of Ambiance... we got to sit in my awesome living room and wolf down burgers and a steak salad while watching the movie of choice for the night. Their extensive beer offering is amazing, but cannot enjoy that during a work lunch! We went on a Thursday which is the Burger and fries combo special. Their basic cheeseburger comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato and choice of condiments. I ALWAYS get their amazing tots that are perfectly seasoned and crispy, but my coworkers upgraded to the massive onion rings. Between the large 1/2lb burger (cooked perfectly!) and sides none of us could completely finish our plates! I have never had a bad dish at either location. Our server, Chastity, was super nice and helpful and explained everything for the first timers in our group. She and Hailey do a great job and we are looking forward to trying another special! Next time I will take pictures before inhaling the top notch food! The only downside is the place is noisy, since the ceiling is wide open. Not a deal breaker for me or our group, but I could see it bothering someone more picky. Thank you!

Luckily we went to an event that ended at Jefferson's and were able to try a variety of their appetizers. We also found out that they have their own house made beers! Each time we are able to find a seat quickly and the service has been prompt and friendly. Sometimes we just come for appetizers. This last time I enjoyed their grilled chicken Caesar salad, while my fiancé had their chili and a dozen oysters. He had a half dozen classic and a half dozen Cajun. Highly recommend the Cajun! Unfortunately, the service side fell flat. We arrived mid-afternoon around 1:30-2:00, and the restaurant wasn't busy. We asked if we could sit upstairs, and the host seemed confused before telling us it was closed, then seated us directly next to a loud group despite plenty of quieter open tables nearby. A few minutes later, we looked upstairs ourselves and saw multiple occupied tables being actively served...what the heck? The most frustrating part of this experience wasn't the seating, it was the complete indifference from the staff. Drinks didn't arrive until after we had already finished eating, and despite the restaurant being relatively slow, nobody seemed remotely concerned. No urgency or communication. Just a normal day for them, I guess. A kitchen can only carry a restaurant so far when the front-of-house operates with this little care for hospitality. The atmosphere gives the impression of a place that wants to feel polished and upscale, but the service felt lazy and disconnected from the guest experience. Mistakes happen in restaurants. What matters is whether the staff notices and cares enough to fix them. We left wondering how a restaurant with food this solid has become comfortable delivering service this poor.

Overall - fun and quirky environment with lots of yummy food options…read more Menu: EXTENSIVE menu with lots of options to choose from... to the point that it can get a lil overwhelming. Thankfully most items have a reference picture so it was easier to gauge what you're getting, which I appreciated. I'd recommend getting the Honky Tonky (with bbq sauce on the side) bc it was a perfect balance of salty and sweet. Other burgers were good too (not all were shown n some I forgot the names), so high chance they'll turn out good. Appetizers id recommend (not shown) is the Spare Parts Appetizer that lets you sample a lot. Several were good like the jalapeños n cheese curds. As for the price and portion though, I don't think it was that worth it.... The burgers aren't that big compared to other places and the fries portion was kinda small too. So for the price of $20 after tax, just not worth it. Yummy but I could always get burgers somewhere else too. Atmosphere: if you're into cars, bikes, all the edgy garage and western decor, you'll like this place. It was fun to look around and see how this place was decorated. It can be a lot though. In terms of space wise, lots of rooms and tables around. We had a party of 11 and were thankfully able to make it work on a busy day. Service: our server was chill and patient with us. Felt like our burgers came out at a reasonable timeframe. Summary: was good and even though yummy, probably more of a 1 visit every few months bc the portion to price ratio isnt it imo :( especially if I can get burgers and fries in bigger (n refillable) elsewhere. Would highly recommend trying though!!

Took family there for my grandson's birthday. Loved the theme…read more Started off with happy hour appetizers......tater kegs and two orders of fried pickles, our kids favorite. Tater kegs were good, taste and size-wise. But we wound up hardly eating much of the fried pickles. They were drowned in salt, so much so even the ranch couldn't compensate or cover it up. My wife got the unlimited wings. She tried three different flavor of wings, all very salty to the taste. Sweet Chili, the Popping Pineapple and the Teriyaki. And the teriyaki really didn't taste like teriyaki at all. My daughter had the veggie burger, and she said it was very salty. I ordered the deviled eggs and the jalapeno creamed corn. The deviled eggs were good; filling was a little runnier than I usually like in a deviled egg. The jalapeno creamed corn had some good spice, but another dish that had entirely too much salt in it. When my wife and first got there to get the table for our party, the host asked if we had the app. We did not, he instructed us how to download it, and told us we'd be getting an email for a free burger. He also told us about the 20% off "Vintage" discount for seniors, of which I am one. At the end of our meal, the server (who was really cool, by the way) gave us our bill, which totalled with tax $165 plus some change. I told him I was a senior and wanted the vintage discount. He brought in iPad over, entered a couple things and brought us a new bill. I glanced at it and it said $163 and some change. So I walked after him and asked him if I paid up front and that's where they gave the discount. He said no you pay me and I did give you the discount. Sure enough, on the receipt, it was saying vintage discount......$2.60. Now I use math in my head every day for work as an air traffic controller, so it didn't take me long to figure out $2.60 is WAY BELOW 20% off of $165. I was looking for some fine print somewhere that might explain this particular math conundrum. Couldn't find anything. I was going to find our server or a manager, but the family was ready to go, and since it was a birthday my wife didn't want me to make an issue of it, so we left. Not happy with the liberal usage of salt in everything, and with today's prices, especially not happy with the issue with the discount that was about 18% short. Probably won't be back.

For food, my buddy got the tenderloin sandwich. It wasn't one of those cartoonishly dinosaur-sized portions you see at some places, but he said it was really tasty and well worth it. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with garlic aioli, and it hit the spot. The burger was tender and juicy, the mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, and the bun was toasted (always a nice bonus). Even the fries were perfectly crispy. All in all, I was very pleased with the meal. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu!

The menu is not large, but clearly what they do, they are doing very, very well. Burgers, dogs, wraps, & salads are there for the choosing along with a great lineup of local beer. They even have their own label (Hank's Lager) if you are up to sample house goodies! But speaking of house goodies, it's the burgers. The 'variations' are slim (like 2 or 3), but the El Reno (shoutout to Oklahoma) comes with those fabulous grilled onions as a supporting cast. The OG Hank's burger is not to be missed, what with the sharp American cheese & special sauce on a brioche bun. Both of those are simply hunger killers, because they taste as good as they look and they're fairly huge in portion size. The house special sauce has a little horseradish wayyyyyy in the flavor background, only noticeable if you're looking for it, and the sauce is outstanding when paired with the burg. Pro tip: get the sauce on the side and get your dunk on. Burgers come with a side and run $15, which is a price point well below the value. Ice cold beer flows on tap (buy local!) or in cans & bottles, and they even do a few wines & house-created cocktails. The airy, open layout makes it a three-season spot and the 'yard' is inviting for anyone who enjoys their eats & dranks au naturel. Wonderful service (Autumn is THE nicest) and plenty of seating - get yourself there.
