A few weeks later, while I was out of town in July, I got a message from my Ecobee thermostat indicating that the A/C wasn't working. I texted Russ about this and he showed up after 6PM on a Saturday, the same day I texted him about the issue! He figured out what was wrong right away and just folded the service call into my annual service plan which was, as before with the dishwasher, very generous and much appreciated. I'm literally excited to have Fuse Service as my go to place for appliance repair and HVAC maintenance. I'm used to businesses asking me to write positive Yelp reviews and I don't mind that. He came to add freon without addressing the leak at all, just wanted to charge me for wasted materials. The person on the phone told me there would be no service charge, the leak would be $85 and he would add the freon "by giving me a good price". Then he told me $180 for the freon and he couldn't fix the leak when he got there and still tried to charge the $85 after I told him to leave. I hate to say that I think the language barrier caused this issue, but he didn't read my texts either when I said there was a leak.

The technician arrived on time, looked at my issue and repaired the dryer with parts he had with him. The price was comparable to other service quotes , without an upcharge for same day service.
